I never thought getting an attorney or dealing with legal issues was going to be easy, and it'd instead be quite terrible. Riggs Abney Law Firm walked me through processes, I'd call and get brief answers with no charge that SOLVED my concerns. Then, I kind of looked forward to using them with how easy and smooth it went. I 100% recommend this group. I hope I never have to use them again, but I'm so grateful I know of them, to use again.

BUYER BEWARE - I made a Will with this law firm though a Legal Shield membership and the sent me several PDF drafts of my Will throughout the process. Whne I asked for a PDF of the finished Will to reprint a few pages as (the notary I used was new and messed it up) they refused to send me a PDF for 2 reasons. First reason was that 'We do not send PDF's of Wills for legal reasons', if this was the case why do I have 6 draft versions in my inbox, isn’t it essentially the same issue of sending legal document in PDF regardless if its draft or the final version? The second reason was 'you are no longer a client'. They did not give me any information on if I could just straight up pay for the document to be sent to me they just absolutely refused unless I signed up for another year of Legal Shield. They have absolutely no compassion and you should look elsewhere. Additionally it took the supervisor 4 weeks to call me back after I inquired about getting a PDF version.

Without going into details, she talked me through the whole process, wrote a few letters on my behalf, and after the dust settled...ended up saving me around $9,000 and helped my family get one step closer to our dream home! You have no idea how much this means to our family!

Over the past couple of decades, I've had opportunities to reach out to the Riggs Abney Law Firm for a wide range of concerns. Horribly rude front desk staff. Name was Christine I believe. I am a new legal shield customer, first time calling "my law firm". She asked for my name and address before asking why I was calling so I tried to confirm that I called a legal shield number, as I am not in the habit of giving out personal information for no reason. She said she needed it to verify. I asked her what she was verifying it against? As in, does she already have my information? And she said she wasn't going to deal with me and sent me to a Legal Shield que where it just directed me to call the same number all over again where I would get that rude fool, Christine, again. VERY unimpressed with this law firm. VERY rude and UNHELPFUL staff. So now, I have no options as I can't trust my law firm. I suppose I will either need to cancel the membership or see if I can request another firm.
