I've used Riggs Abney Law Firm twice now (through my Legal Shield membership) to review some contract documents. On both occasions the lawyers called when they said they would, and were extremely helpful in discussion the contracts, answering my questions, and educating me about contract law. Thanks!

Riggs Abney Law Firm is a very professional Law firm taht is always willing to help in a very transparent and clear manner. I suggest that everyone should use Legal shield so they feel a sence of protectiveness in the world that we live in today.

I utilized Riggs Abney through Legal Shield. The attorney that assisted us through an unplanned probate was helpful, thorough, and prompt. Through their guidance I was able to navigate the many legal forms of probate and save money by them guiding us through the process rather than doing it for us.

It’s good just for small case like dispute a charge, but when you have questions or claim for something bigger they would be refuse to handle it or even give you an advice due to ethical rules. After reviewing other people experience I surprised. as a member at least should give you some advice or telling you the proper way how can going forward with a case! A big NO is making people disappointed and make them to leave the membership.

I recently had a frustrating experience with the law firm partnered with Legal Shield in Colorado. Unfortunately, it appears that this firm does not even know the services they offer through Legal Shield. I reached out to them to create a trust, a service clearly listed on the Legal Shield website for a $250 fee per person. However, the attorney informed me that they don't provide this service and mentioned they primarily offer counsel and do not draft documents. It is disappointing that Legal Shield only has one firm in Colorado to support their clients. After this experience, I looked at other reviews and was not surprised to see numerous 1-star ratings and similar complaints about the incompetence of this firm. Legal Shield should seriously consider partnering with a legitimate law firm that can adequately represent their business and meet the needs of their clients.

Every time I need help, they are so kind on the phone, and they call me back pretty quickly. Always happy with the outcome :)

Have representation through LegalShield and they were very responsive, and helpful through the process of getting our Will's and Power of Attorney done. Would recommend to anyone.

I would give this law firm 0 stars if I could. I signed up with Legal Shield after being told that they could handle my dispute with the person I signed up with. Using their platform I scheduled a 3 hour block for a consultation, no one called me during this time. I called the law firm and scheduled another consultation for 2 hours and not a single person called me. I had to escalate the concern to the person who signed me up with Legal Shield and they filed an internal complaint. Finally I received a call from Sharon Hamm who said that I didn't have any appt times scheduled even though I had written proof with time stamps. She said she couldn't help me with my dispute. She didn't ask for clarification or any details she dismissed me before she even reviewed my case. I received an email from a customer service agent saying that they were closing the dispute. I called and spoke with Frances who was just as old and senile as Sharon. She didn't ask for any details and made assumptions before allowing me any time to speak. I asked if I could speak with a different law firm and they said this was their primary contact. As a company who offers services nationwide they should have more than one law firm in each state available. I asked to speak with her supervisor because this is unacceptable to be a paying member and not have access to any benefits. She said her supervisor was unavailable--of course. I said a supervisor needs to call me immediately. Frances tried to make me feel bad by saying that her supervisor was out because her father just died. Well guess what you awful law firm my father is on hospice as well and dying but guess what I wasted 5 hours away from him waiting for this awful law firm to call me back and only to be treated like garbage. Stay far far away from this law firm and cancel your Legal Shield membership.

I have used Riggs Abney through my Legal Shield subscription a few times and they have always been professional, handling my issues with great care.
