I had Kathryn Lonowski as my lawyer, in a modification for parenting time. She was absolutely wonderful and got me exactly what I wanted. She is very detail oriented, she makes sure there are no errors in your modification so you don't have to worry about anything being missed. She is very thorough and knowledgeable, with an incredible work ethic. She has a strong personality in that she wants you to get the best outcome you can get which leads to her brutal honesty. She will fight and work very hard for you. Kathryn always communicates with you through email or phone, her response time is very punctual. She's very focused and determined for you. She is intimidating but in a good way, you definitely want her on your side. She's one of the best attorneys I’ve ever worked with.

Andrew Callahan at Wick and Trautwein represented me after I was in a bad car accident. The accident, that was not my fault, was awful and complex. It left me with life-long injuries and completely altered the course of my life. The lawsuit and legal process was a challenging and lengthy process, but Andrew honestly made it better. The calm, positive and thoughtful way he conducts himself was easily the best part of the last several years of trying to pick up the pieces from the accident. The lawsuit went as well as it possibly could, and this was because of how detailed, thorough and credible Andrew and the firm he works for is. If you’re going to go through a miserable experience, it helps to have someone like him to help you navigate it -

Kathryn Lonowski is known as ‘the bull dog’ for a reason, but be warned that she’s not just that way to the opposing side, but to everyone- including the client paying for her to be there. She was rude, mean, showed up 10min late to our ONE hearing, and (I agree with another reviewer)- the judges and others in the courthouse did not like her. I basically ended up writing the main parts of my own separation agreement (custody, parenting plan), with her tacking on her boilerplate legalese. Which while thorough, was 45+ pages long and cost me another $$$ every time we had to revise. The first time we sent over our agreement, she incorrectly stated my maintenance commitment for almost two years longer! And she didn’t even call attention to the key items we agreed to, which were supposed to help make the other side more accepting to our offer. If I expressed my concern over these issues, I was met with, “then fire me.” as a response, knowing full well I wasn’t about to walk away $5k into the process. Spend your money elsewhere, don’t believe her when she says she’ll fight for you. When it comes down to it, she can only get you what every other lawyer can get, but will be rude to you while doing it.

Attorney Andrew Callahan at Wick & Trautwein LLC did a Great Job representing my legal rights and I highly recommend Him and his Firm. They were there to help when I didn't know where to turn and the steps necessary to protect my rights were explained in understandable terms - which was also Greatly appreciated. Thank You Andrew.
