I absolutely DO NOT RECOMMEND this firm. **Edit** After I expressed my concern with his firm, Ron Salas dismissed my wife and I as clients over email due to my "tone". the email I wrote is the review below almost verbatim (I changed the pronouns). **Edit** Documents and information intended for me were sent to someone else instead. I understand mistakes happen but in this instance we are dealing with highly sensitive, highly personal documents pertaining to an extremely emotional subject. Double checking email addresses seems like a small thing to ask. Perhaps The Salas Law Firm takes divorce lightly because it is just another day in the office, but for ME, it's a living nightmare, an utter embarrassment, and a complete catastrophe. And they have compounded all that by giving me a new nightmare to contemplate, embarrassing me further, and complicating an already insufferable process. So, I would like to register my EXTREME disappointment with this practice. Not only did I never receive the documents promised, but I had to find out from my soon to be ex-wife that documents containing my personal information and details of our divorce were sent to some random person. Supposedly this person sent them screenshots of the "unread" email and the empty inbox after he deleted the email. But anyone with a gmail account can open an email, download the contents, and mark it unread in 3 mouse-clicks. It seems to me that this breach of privacy may also constitute a breach in attorney-client confidentiality, which is extremely concerning.

I reached out to Ron Salas to assist me with handling my first traffic ticket in court. I've never had to go to court for a traffic ticket, so needless to say I didn't know what to expect and I had a lot of questions. Ron's communication was great and he answered any and all questions that I had. On the day of my hearing, he was able to get both my points and fine reduced, which gave me a big sense of relief. This process would have been a lot more stressful if it weren't for Ron's help.

Cody is an excellent attorney and I highly recommend him to anyone in need of family representation. He is beyond responsive and holds his clients concerns as a priority, which is a extremely rare to find!!! I have personally found that he is extensively knowledgeable on Colorado law and if you are looking for an attorney that provides his clients with the upmost professional services and communication, then Cody Knebel is the attorney you want on your side!

Anyone going through a custody case will have a hard time putting their trust in an attorney. That being said I'm happy I put my trust in Cody Knebel. My partner and I put together the best info for a case we could, but couldn't have gotten where we did without Cody. I didn't always understand why he did what he did but he said to trust his method and it worked. I'm very happy with his services and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I hired Cody Knebel back in Oct 2022 and he helped me through my divorce and it was an smooth process. got my divorce done and final by Jan 2023. I was very pleased with Cody! Thanks again Cody.

I had Cody Knebel from the Salas Law Firm in Fort Collins on my divorce/custody case, and he was my saving grace. He is by far the best attorney I have ever worked with even when comparing him to opposing counsels I have seen work, he is hands down the best!! He was honest with me, hardworking, very responsive, and timely with everything he did! Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Knebel and the service and support he provided to me. He truly cares about his clients. I really couldn’t have asked for a better outcome than what he helped me to achieve in my high conflict case. Without a doubt I will hire Cody again if I find myself needing an attorney in the future and recommend him to everyone I know!

Bordeaux & Boyes, LLC is a great source for estate planning (Wills, Living Wills, Trusts, Power of Attorney, etc.). Brian was very professional and prepared with discussion points, documents, and examples of the process. Estate planning can be a heavy subject, but Brian was able to balance professionalism, banter, and humor. I enjoyed the conversations we had over our three meetings to set-up our plans. Now I can feel confident that my family is cared for and that Brian is in place to help execute our wishes.

He doesn’t care at all and is not a good lawyer. He will settle for anything. Don’t get me wrong, he talks REAL tough on the phone the first time you talk to him. Like he has his stuff together. He doesn’t. And that’s the last time you’ll talk to him til he doesn’t get you your money. You then get his assistant who I forget his name but he’s completely lost. Screamed at me to get papers in I had given to him personally months before. The female lawyer my brother hired ate him alive. I would hire her. Definitely not Ron Salas.

I was pleasantly surprised at how easy these folks made the legal process to handle. Mr. Salas and his entire team are fantastic, helpful and got the job done. I would highly recommend The Salas Law Firm for any legal needs here in Fort Collins and beyond. They have my business, should I ever need legal services again.
