Cody Knebel has been a literal life saver for me!! I was referred to him by multiple people when looking for an attorney to help me with a complicated divorce on a budget. He dealt with not only numerous ridiculous complications, but also with all my crazy! From helping me keep myself and my children safe, ensuring I would be ok financially during the year+ process, giving continuously great advice, calming and reassuring me regularly, to staying in constant communication and answer ALL my questions and concerns. Cody won every single battle for me and kept me grounded in the process and by working together he was able to make the whole thing affordable in a way I couldn’t have imagined. He has helped me begin to move forward with my life from a place I never thought possible. I am forever grateful that Cody is the attorney I had the pleasure to work with!!

When I was going through a very scary season in my life, and needed an attorney to help me through it, I was given Cody's name. He was a Godsend, and was able to help me through it all professionally, knowledgably, and with care. He worked with me financially so that I was able to pay him when I could, which gave me peace of mind, too. My case had a good and fair resolution thanks to his hard work. Cody works with the Salas firm and represented me for a custody case. I found their information from the modest means list through Larimer county. Cody was new in his career and agreed to take my case for the custody involving my 2 children. He neglected the case, didn’t read documents, and told me I had to do the work because of the “modest means circumstances“. Cody ended the case as soon as he could and left me to clean up the mess. It’s been about 4 years since he represented me and I’ve done a much better job representing myself (now 50/50 custody). Sadly I’ve found I’m still cleaning up the mess he made when I employed him as my lawyer years ago. I’ve meet with Ron Salas a few times since communicating my situation and hoping to seek advice. I’ve had to pay another consultation fee and felt dismissively and disrespectfully swatted away when expressing my situation. From my experience, Ron and Cody are crooked and only focused on income. They are crafty manipulators and are great at taking clients money and providing little in return. I’ve taken the time out of my life to write my first review, and I learned a ton about the legal system so I just want to thank you for this opportunity Cody and Ron. Have a great one

I am tremendously thankful to have used Cody Knebel from Salas Law Firm. My case had so many different things going on in it, I really felt there was never going to be an end. In a year we had 7 different cases and Cody kept me up to date on everything. Over this last year I have gone from not seeing my two children to having the opportunity to be an amazing father to my children. Cody was extremely knowledgeable about the laws and did everything he could to get my children and me back together. I would recommend using the Salas Law Firm to anyone with their family matters.

Cody was hands down an answered prayer for me over the last several years. He has tackled everything from family, custody, and child support issues and each time we have come out victorious. Winter 2019 I was deployed to the middle east and he represented me while abroad through the hardest time of my life. Not only did he take on the County in supporting veteran rights and protections, he won in what is now a landmark case for the state of Colorado. He has truly triumphed and and has been the best decision and connection when it comes to legal matters. I would recommend him to not only my family and friends but to strangers alike. Mr. Salas and his team were very helpful with my case. They negotiated much better deal for me. Even during covid time, they were very responsive and always there for me when I needed them. They are very professional and I can't recommend them strongly enough. If you need any law advice or help you should contact them right away.

Smart attorney and very accessible

Brian has been instrumental in creating and giving us peace of mind about our estate and small business plans. After the sudden death of a parent (I was 32, dad was only 58), I realized we didn't have our ducks in a row. Within a few months, we got all our assets figured out, a trust in place, and a line of succession for the businesses. Now I don't dread having to make a plan or leaving a mess for someone else to figure out if something happens - it's done (and Brian makes it easy to edit if our desires change). Seriously, if you've made it to your 30s without an estate plan, it's time. If you're looking for someone to help you figure out what you need, talk to Brian.

I went in and met with Brian to review a prenup. Without a doubt one of the best experiences I've had with an attorney. A very straightforward and fair experience. Would recommend 100 times out of 100.

Tried to consult on a family case. He didn’t believe I had progressed my case as far as I had and argued with me on the validity of my paternity with my own child. He let me know he was not familiar with the six ways legal parents can be adjudicated in Colorado, and continued to argue with where my case currently is. I left without finishing the consult and his receptionist tells me there’s a consult fee for his free consultation.

Saved my business! Very professional, and didn't need to be crooked to do it. Talk to them about estate planning too.
