After having broken my spine in several places in a work related incident the work comp insurance company refused to pay for surgery, both Jacqui Condon and Deidra Dewey took on my case, within months they were able to get the process started and I was able to have major surgery from t-3 to l2 rods put in my back. They were also able to get me pay while I unable to work. Since this injury has changed my life forever and the insurance company would probably rather I expire than to take care of it Kaplan morrell was able to get me a satisfactory settlement which pays for my ongoing medical needs and then some. The two of them are absolutely wonderful and the communication was and still has been fantastic. I highly recommend.

I want to send a huge thank you to my lawyer, Sheila Toborg, and her associate, Brandy Halley! Not only was my case a difficult mess, I live in the boonies and it can be very difficult to get ahold of me. I'll be the first to admit that I'm not always the easiest person to deal with - high maintenance is probably an understatement lol! Through it all they both worked their asses off and always made time for me when I needed them. I can honestly say that through it all there was NEVER a point where I felt like they were ignoring me or not giving me everything they could! They are both very dedicated to their clients! I could email at any time and would get a response no later than the following day, and a few times I even got an immediate response! I'm not sure how that happens in a busy law office, but I'm very grateful just the same! When on phone calls, Shelia always took the time to explain things to me and made sure I understood before hanging up. Of course as soon as each phone call was over, without fail, I would think of a few more questions and would email right away! Even though we had just spoken, she always took the time to answer the additional questions I had! Though I usually spoke with Sheila, I know Brandy was there coordinating and making sure nothing was overlooked! She had a mountain of paperwork to sort through and value, and she would constantly struggle getting through to me with questions, and then had to wait for me to get back to her! I'm sure it was very frustrating! For all the struggles I'm aware that she went through, in reality, it was probably ten times more! Thank you for all your hard work and dedication Brandy! During the course of my case I went through some very challenging life events. I fell down the stairs at my job and spent months back and forth with doctors and physical therapy only to find out I had indeed broken my ankle. After surgery and what should have been a simple recovery, I was still in pain and living with limited mobility.
