I would give Hanson Law and Erin 10 stars if I could. Erin is effective, professional, pragmatic, assertive, cost-efficient, responsive, resolute and thorough.

I never received a call back after leaving several voice messages.

Erin was phenomenal every step of the way. My case was frustrating and there were many bumps along the way due to the other party, but Erin kept me informed, advised me of my options, and was caring. She allowed me to be comfortable enough to talk out loud as I weighed my options and made decisions. She truly was an invaluable part of this process and I am so thankful I had her by my side each step of the way.

I was referred to Nicole Hanson from another trusted attorney. She was extremely responsive and very knowledgable with my many questions regarding my ongoing divorce and custody issues. Jeff handled my divorce case. It wasn’t pretty at all. My ex wife really wanted the moon, stars and the rest. Jeff is an experienced lawyer. My first call to Jeff, while searching frantically for help, the phone rang directly to Jeff. No cheesy secretary or intake questionnaire. Jeff picked up the phone directly. I told him I had a problem, he literally said “ok well shoot man, nothing you’re going to say is going to surprise me, have at it.” So I did. And Jeff talked to me for like 45 minutes about cautions I should take, legal advice, he gave freely of his time. So I retained him. Jeff essentially won my case entirely. He used his experience and intuition to get me the best deal he could. The only thing I lost was equity in my home, and that’s not Jeff’s fault at all, Colorado laws for home equity distribution in the case of a divorce are terrible. Jeff knows the family law subject extremely well. His experience is, in the end, worth the hourly rate he charges (which is substantial). If you do have to go to trial (like me) you’re going to find an acute attention do detail commensurate with a highly experienced lawyer and it’s probably going to work in your favor to hire the guy. So I would recommend retaining Jeff in a bad situation or at least giving him a call if you want to speak directly and frankly with a very good lawyer.

I hired Nicole Hanson for the collaborative divorce process. She is flexible on her level of involvement in each client's case and provides education to help them make the best decisions for themselves. Ms. Hanson is very professional, prompt, and offers competitive hourly rates. She maintains a good balance of having empathy and compassion while also pushing on her clients and telling them what is and is not reasonable to expect. It is important to her to make sure her clients understand everything fully, in addition to understanding future implications of current decisions on the parenting plans. She is firm with opposing counsel and will advocate her hardest for her clients on what is important to them. She also has the ability to read how the other side operates, and is able to present things to them in a way she believes will be most effective. Ms. Hanson is very creative in finding middle grounds so that her clients do not feel they are making sacrifices to what is most important to them.

From day one Nicole was responsive to my needs, creative in looking for solutions, explaining her ideas and legal terms and actions in ways that I could understand, always following through. I could not recommend her services more highly! It was an excellent experience working with her with a very satisfactory outcome for me.

Despite several calls there hasn't been any response, and there doesn't appear to be a way to make an appointment.

I retained Jeff way back in 2017 when I was having a dispute with the mother of my son. It was looking pretty horrible and Jeff helped talk me through many scenarios and strategies. Eventually i worked things out and then things blew up again in 2020. Jeff honored the money that was still on retainer even 3 years after the original agreement. I was clearly not a "big ticket client" for him but he treated me with priority anyway. He is no-nonsense and says it how it is according to the law. Its not his job to deal with the emotional part of families, just the legal part. His focus on the legality of matters is valuable and helpful in making informed decisions. Nicole is amazing! I hired her for a common law dispute. She was very knowledgeable in an uncommon area of divorce. She was realistic, honest, and very responsive to all my questions.
