This firm is very unprofessional. I was forced to send a claim to the attorney general due to predatory practices. Stay clear of this firm at all cost!

They never respond to calls or emails. I literally had to bother them for a month and half just to get a TWO PAGE document from them. Next time you demand money from someone, try actually following up with their inquiries. It's clear this firm represents predatory HOAs, as they love to jerk you around as much as HOA board members do. Absolutely ridiculous.

I'm so grateful that our small group of home owners found Altitude Community Law. A few years ago, we discovered that our 8 unit townhouse, while operating as an HOA, legally only had a party wall agreement and was not an HOA. We spoke to numerous lawyers and the cost was exorbitant for our group's size. Luckily Altitude Community Law was recommended to us. They quoted a reasonable price and did a great job supporting our polarized group of owners into an appropriate solution. I've remained on Altitude's email list because of their informative blogs about proposed legislation and to stay in the loop about their educational classes. This is an office that cares about what they do and offers high quality services to the community as a whole in addition to their active clients.

If I could leave ZERO stars, I would. I am struggling to decide where to start. I have had issues since day one. I, much like other reviewers, understand that I was the one behind on a payment but the disrespectful manner of not only the staff (Edgar) but also the Lawyer (Classick) was something I have never experienced before. I have been in constant (I have proof of over 10 emails being sent) communication with this law firm to get myself and the situation I was in solved, and I have received 3 emails in return, none in a timely manner. Today, after demanding a phone call, I was able to speak with a lawyer (Classick) who was so unprofessional, rude, sassy, and disrespectful. She would not let me finish a sentence before cutting me off. She would not let me read off a check number before cutting me off. I have 3 lawyers in my family who have read the communication and we are all curious where she was able to get a law degree with the attitude and lack of respect she showed. If she is involved, just request a different lawyer. This all happened after MULTIPLE (at least 6) unanswered emails from Edgar, who today decided to tell me that he was too busy to answer me (clearly, since my emails have gone unanswered for over a month!). If you have to deal with Altitude Community Law, RUN! They will wait to communicate with you until the last minute and attempt to send you letters of default even AFTER they have cashed your check. They are scamming people and failing to communicate to collect late fees that are not true! I highly recommend getting another law firm involved if you have to deal with them at all or if you’re looking for a law firm, DON’T GO HERE! Not only am I getting my own lawyer involved, but I’ve had to pull my bank in to put a stop payment on checks until I can get a response because this law firm claims they haven’t received any payments. Altitude Law, I recommend reading the other reviews and really taking a looking at the people and lawyers you employ. As an educated and business owning woman, I would NEVER employ people that treat people this way. The reviews say it all. Your staff and lawyers are rude, disrespectful, and fail to communicate. That is unacceptable from any reputable law firm, reputable being the key word!

I understand that I was the one who was being sued in this case but I paid these people in full! When I asked for a final payoff the lady was not only disrespectful but down right rude and mean. Not a necessary trait to have for any business. I was charged $412 simply to ask that question. Not a fair tradeoff. I've known some attorneys in my life that are extremely efficient and do not need to be a ignorant and lack quality business practices or common sense. When I called today to pay the remaining $$$$ of $150. She cut me off then yelled at me for saying anything else.

Very aggressive and despotic actitud

I called the firm after receiving a letter denying my emotional support animal because of allegations that my dog bit another dog. Debra was extremely rude and cut me off several times as I was trying to talk and ask clarification. When I asked for documentation and proof of my dog biting another dog, I was told that it was my word against the other owners word and that my dog needed to be removed immediately. She was very unprofessional and I do not wish this type of experience for anyone.

I am so tired of HOA companies being so predatory in their actions. Altitude is no different. No words. Just exhausted.
