We are a small HOA that was in need of a total rewrite of our documents. We worked with Melissa Garcia. She was awesome- a true expert. I am a retired lawyer and have dealt with dozens of firms over the past 35 years. These guys not only know the law but because the represent so many HOAs, they have seen everything. A great combination of the technical and the practical. Melissa delivered everything she promised on time. I highly recommend.

They do not care who they hurt. My ex-wife was responsible for HOA's and instead of pursuing her, they went after the wrong person. I even had a court order to prove everything and they ignored it. Competency is out the window with this firm.

I was the VP of my HOA Board for 4 years. We had to redraft the Articles, Declaration, Bylaws and Rules as they were severely out of conformance with Colorado Law from decades of neglect by other boards. Altitude was absolutely 1st rate in helping us. With their guidance, advising us on CO conformance requirements and best practices of HOAs, we were able to draft and establish excellent HOA documents and register them with the State after passing a vote of approval with HOA membership. As well, they were outstanding in helping us with non-conformance litigation, advising us and helping us to enforce minimal requirements with a stubborn home owner that ultimately went into litigation and in which we prevailed. This would not have happened without their excellent counsel. I highly recommend them and would have no hesitation again.

Since 2018, the Gunbarrel Green HOA has benefited from the legal counsel of Melissa Garcia of Altitude Community Law. The Gunbarrel Green HOA (309 properties) is not governed by a professional management company. The HOA Board is comprised of five elected resident volunteers. As an HOA Board member, I found Ms. Garcia’s legal guidance invaluable. She has always been available to answer questions and offer guidance. During Covid restrictions, Ms. Garcia has assisted the HOA Board with virtual meetings and mail-in ballot voting.
