I thought we could have settled for a higher figure (helping both CM and myself) but everyone was real helpful. One note: if the firm sends a holiday card or message to a client, it would be nice to continue that after the settlement. It helps to continue the connection; other professionals I have worked with have done that in the past and it is a nice jesture.
