My firm hired Jake when one of our clients wired funds to a scammer in a wire fraud situation. I found him after searching the internet most of the night and determined that he might be the guy that I was looking for to help us. When money is wired to a fraudster the likely-hood of recovery goes down by the hour, knowing this, I called Jake before he was out of bed, leaving him a message. He returned my call within 15 minutes, and I began explaining our situation to him, to say that he hit the ground running would be an understatement. He didn't talk about fees or payment, that was not his concern, he was interested in helping us and knew what needed to be done and fast. After gathering the needed information from me, in an efficient manner, he quickly got in touch with our client and started working his connections from his time in government to halt the further transfer of money. He had people assisting him at the every level of government including the secret service, he was focused on doing whatever it took to get our money back and he knew that certain people had better odds of assisting in that outcome. At the end of a long and stressful day, Jake called and informed me that the 109k would be returned to our client in the next couple of days. I am 100% certain that without his help, the result would have been different. Your situation, may differ from what we used Jake for, however it would be difficult for me to believe that Jake's strategy development, sharp decision making, connections combined with his willingness to take action quickly would not be the type of attributes that solve most problems.

Mr. Jackson is a real lawyer, specializing in tax and business. He is a a CPA too. That was a win-win for me in an arbitration that took over a year during Covid from the first mediation to the final judgement, and Mr. Jackson attended every in-person and Zoom meeting by my side and his input was invaluable. He networked his extensive colleague relationships for me as expert witnesses in complex legal and financial precedents and won me nearly half a million dollars! His decades of experience, both courtroom and behind the scenes, got me the results I needed. And something else-- he was willing to come to me at my location at all hours day and night and toil beside me till he got the job done. Due to the length and complexity of my case and the many delays and changes due to Covid, when the grueling hours he was working (all himself, no delegating to people with less experience and expertise) piled up, he stopped charging me for his time and did it for free. Where else can you possibly get top-of-the-line legal and financial consulting like a big firm but all done by the top guy himself, personally? Seriously? The proof is in the pay off. I got every penny from the judge in my award of hundreds of thousands of dollars that I was entitled to thanks to Mr. Jackson. Bottom line: there is no one better. Period. Stop looking and give the man a call. You'll see for yourself.

Our case began in 2022 and just closed in 2024. There were some very difficult moments but we are beyond thrilled to finally hear, that this case against us has been officially closed.
We are so grateful for J.C's expertise, kindness and willingness to take on our case. At the beginning of our case, he reached out to our home insurance, asking them to provide counsel before the deadline was up for a response.

Tom Frost handled a very complicated case involving a breach of fiduciary duty and fraud worth millions of dollars. The complexity of this case against a family member involved transfering and reorganizing various trust assets by applying undue influence over an elderly co-trustee and various bad acts that involved complex financial dealings and corruption. Tom Frost and his team, primarily Craig Wendland, went up against two of the most prestigious and well-funded law firms to arrive at a settlement that provided a fair enough outcome given the power and money of my opposition. It was a very emotionally stressful and legally and financially complicated case. I felt his representation was extremely competent. He was always available, considerate of my values and very supportive throughout a two year process. I will absolutely use Tom and his team for any future matters that may come up.

Mr. Fenstermaker went above and beyond the call of duty in my appeal. When he uncovered withholding of exculpatory evidence (among other things), he could have pretended he never saw it like most lawyers. He told me about it, and went ahead to file the appropriate motions, which cost him many more hours than stipulated in the retainer. Needless to say, I lost my appeal due to the hideous corruption in Westchester County and the rubber stamping Court of Appeals. He's an absolute professional, and will work harder for you than anyone else I know. Unfortunately for me, just the polar opposite of my trial attorney.

I was refereed to Brandon by another lawyer for his expertise in the area I needed help. The other lawyer thought very highly of Brandon. He did not disappoint! I found him very knowledgeable and competent. He took the time to listen to me and hear my problems. A lawyers I worked with in the past , jumped in with a solution with out really hearing me as well as talking over my head. Brandon broke everything down so I could really understand the legalese. He gave me great advice which pointed me in a different direction. Thank God he did. Had I followed my own thinking, it would have ended very poorly for me. He conducts himself with great integrity. He was very fair on his billing and I feel I got a great value for the money I spent. He is obviously good at researching. The situation I was dealing with was pretty complex so he quickly did the research and got back to me promptly. Of all the great qualities he possesses, I have to say his responsiveness was the best of any lawyer I have seen. This is a bummer because, as you’ll see, I have not left a negative review in the 15 years of having my account:
I recently worked with Andrew to obtain advice on a silent partnership contract that was very bare bones (a couple hundred words in length).
I was surprised to see that I was charged $438 for Andrew to read this incredibly small document and provide maybe 100 words of feedback. (Will update with screen shots once I have redacted the info)
I ended up going with another lawyer who was able to provide a couple of rounds of feedback on this document for about the same price and sharing me he felt I overpaid greatly for the services provided.
To be fair, Andrew was thorough and fast, which is why it’s an anomaly this did not extend to his charges and the time he stated required almost 2 hours of billing.
I hate to leave a review like this but I communicated this information to Andrew asking to split the difference which would have him still making $250 for the single volley of feedback but he was unwilling to work with me.

I first contacted another law firm that does a LOT of advertising and was told they weren't interested because it would be a hard case to win. Bob Peterson and his wonderful staff, especially Mandy, took the case without hesitation and got a result that I am quite pleased with. Bob and his staff were very professional and gave good sound advice, even when it meant they might not make as much on my case as they could have. I hope to never need them again, but if I have the need there is no question who I will hire...BGR every time.
