I cannot say enough positive things about Joel Bernier. For starters, he truly made me feel like I was his only client, always answered my questions/concerns, and was always there for me. Joel was a rock in a storm for me…Always- calm, collective, and professional when I was not. He constantly played defense handling my divorce case because of me, not him. Despite not giving Joel any power moves, the man was able to negotiate and make some deals happen when I felt the situation was hopeless. Joel is a good person who operates with integrity. I highly recommend Joel Bernier!

Brian Grossman represented me on a contract dispute. The company I worked for as a 1099 contractor breached the contract and refused to pay over 150K due in commissions. I am an individual that wrote and submitted a utility patent for a clean energy idea to WIPO pro se (by myself) which was rejected. Brian cleaned up my work and helped me submit the patent to the USPTO. He did a great job to work with me under my very limited budget and treated me like a top client nonetheless. In May of 2015, I hired Hassan Sahouani, PhD, J.D. to file paperwork for
Intellectual property and limited liability registration for my new business. It was completed that same month. Additionally, the symbol with name for my business was submitted in May 2015 for consideration to the US Patent and Trademark Office for trademark registration. The trademark was approved and certificate of registration received January 2016. Mr. Sanouani walked me through the process step by step, as well as, supplying supportive documentation (when applicable) expeditiously. There were no surprises and everything went as expected. Mr. Sanouani is tenacious, professional, reliable, accessible and personable. He provides relevant information for your unique situation, emphasizing proper steps to take for securing your business, name and products. He has definitely been a pleasure to work with. When I had an intellectual property dispute a year ago, I turned to Joe for help and found the most amazing person one can ever hope for.

My business is property investment in England and I worked with Gabriel in 2014-2015.
Although currently located in New York, Gabriel is also an English Solicitor and he came very highly recommended.
Hiring him was one of the best business decisions I have made.
I found him to be more than an extremely knowledgeable and efficient legal advisor. He clearly possesed the full panoramic knowledge and experience required for a start up business like mine to take off with full speed ahead.
Providing the "full package" is what makes his service unique. This proved to be extremely valuable from all points of view: fees, time, service quality, adaptability to rapid changes and new decisions.
Since I first started working with Gabriel in 2014, he has advised and supported with:
- Choosing the appropriate business entity;
- Corporate and employment taxes;
- A joint venture partnership between my company and another;
- Broader business advice relating to Business strategy and finance and the setting up of a website domain;
- The company incorporation;
- Setting up a virtual office;
- Drafting and reviewing a number of agreements, including loan agreements and angel investor agreements.
Regarding the quality of the service provided, I must admit, a perfectionist like me is usually not easy to please, but Gabriel is a perfectionist himself so his service is impeccable. I particularly liked the following:
- He advised on both business issues as well as legal issues – which saved me having to hire a business consultant. This saved me double the time (and fees) explaining my business needs and personal circumstances to yet another advisor.
- He was flexible and willing to accommodate my tight schedule (and even sometimes worked at unconventional hours on weekends).
- He responded promptly to my queries, he is very patient and made time to explain (in ‘plain English’) the implications of all the different options available.
- He was honest and frank about what he can deliver and what to expect – and always kept to his word and well within deadlines.
- He would advise on my queries but also pointed out any possible impact of new developments in the long term future of the business.
- His fees were very fair compared to a lot of the other lawyers I had considered.
I would definitely be looking to get him to assist in the event I set up operations in New York as well.
In this competitive market, hiring the right lawyer / the right business advisor is such an important decision.
Hiring Gabriel was one of the best business decisions I made. I highly recommend him.

My wife Suzanne and I were working with an Immigration Lawyer out of Pittsburgh Pensilvania for almost a year, and at a critical time when documents were going to be submitted to apply for my wife’s access into the US for emergency surgery with a doctor that was highly recommended for her condition, our attorney dropped the ball. She wasn’t answering phone calls or emails and left us high and dry, we were absolutely gobsmacked !
Pulling our hair out and desperate we did some research and found an immigration attorney who recommended Frances from Hayden Law for our particular situation !

Dealing with legal stuff can really tie you up in knots, but Simon Law made the process bearable. Had to sort out some paperwork that felt like it was written in ancient Greek to me.
