These guys and gals handled our home purchase in DE. Terrific bunch. I highly recommend them. Made our home purchase smooth and when an issue popped up with a permitting issue the sellers had we got a few grand credit when we closed. Just very thorough, organized, and keep you ahead of all the issues that could cost you later.

Expert service and professionalism!

Ward & Taylor recently handled the settlement for my home purchase. I was very please with their thoroughness and professionalism. I have gone through many settlements over time and realize how badly they can go, so I wanted to make sure to thank them for their efforts on my recent settlement.

This has been the worst settlement experience I have ever been through. As buyers we raised lots of concern about Seller and Seller agent. even after walk through process we found issue in the house and attorney was not ready to listen our problem and keep talking in favor of seller. attorney always talk about consequences if I walk out instead of solving problems. as a buyer we never tried to walk out from the deal. I would not recommend using Ward & Taylor. we had to exchange lots of emails to solve small problem. do not got to Middletown office. Amada Jester is not practical and she tried to push me over call to face consequences without knowing truth.

Just so sloppy. Have used their services three times for real estate transactions. Latest transaction was a sale. They sent half the proceeds to my ex, when they already knew the property had been awarded to me. They didn't follow up to secure the documents they needed to properly finalize the sale. Then when they had and "decided" they would recognize the court order, they produced a check for the full proceeds to me. I went to deposit the check only to find they had not signed the check. Probably not the firm you want to trust to do work for you. Again, just so sloppy for a profession that is supposed to be about dotting the i's and crossing the t's.

My wife and I just closed on our first home and we want to thank Barbara Brodoway, Nancy Law and Kathy Banks for a great experience. What a great lawfirm, so professional and diligent. I highly recommend Ward & Taylor.

This has been the worst settlement experience I have ever been through. The processor was Inefficient, made mistakes and had no follow through to get those mistakes corrected. As the buyers, the number we needed to bring to the table changed so many times up to & including when we arrived at closing, even the attorney at settlement couldn’t explain why. I’m still not confident that the deed was recorded and required change in ownership for water have even been completed 3 months after settlement. If you call after closing to follow-up don’t expect a return call. I would not recommend using Ward & Taylor

This company has very poor customer service they rush you through your process and just brush you off to the next person. They declined my case and answered every question with you need to talk to another lawyer without even letting me speak to an attorney at the firm or offering me a consultation

They never return calls to potential customers even after you speak to Mr. Ward himself.

Dealt with this law firm twice in the last 18 years. Both experiences were unpleasant: Jennifer (lawyer) and Adrienne Z. (paralegal) were unprofessional and got attitudes. Would never use this law firm again.
