April is incredibly professional and competent, and her in-depth knowledge of the immigration process has made bearable what could have been a very painful process. Being able to maintain absolute professionalism whilst making the process very personal, is a skill not perfected by many, but this is exactly what she has been able to do. She has been sure to answer all of our questions promptly, thereby putting out minds at rest. As serious as immigration is, I don’t believe that we could have been any better served than we have been by April, who instilled well-founded confidence every step of the way. My son and I have been permanent residents for almost a year and a half, and my daughter has just had her green card interview with USCIS, all of which is in the competent hands of April Cockerham.

I am a career federal prosecutor. Beginning in 2010, I had a significant homicide case in Washington, D.C., against David Benowitz, who had been retained in that case. I found David to be extremely bright, professional and prepared. He was laser-focused on the best interests of and for his client. There were a lot of difficult legal and factual issues in the case. David filed a series of well-written and supported motions and he fought hard for his client the entire case. Yet, David did it in such a way that he did not alienate the Court/trier of fact. Moreover, from a prosecutor's perspective, I found David to be a man of his word, which is extremely important to myself (and other prosecutors) in any future case I might have with David.

Dealing with any type of legal matter can consume and stress you out beyond normal daily life. Excellent, professional staff I dealt with Mr.Davey and Mr.Yannone both are VERY professional, courteous, and most of all patient. This was my first experience with a personal injury settlement and I was full of questions to which these two were quick to answer. There was once I wasn't able to make it to their office to sign some paperwork and the e-signature wasn't working (my fault ) so they found someone that was able to bring it to my house for my signature. It may not seem like a lot but considering they are located in NWDC and I live in PWC NoVa. That to me speaks volumes in professionalism, courtesy and client care.
