If you are looking for anything negative about Ms Leah Durant’s Law Office, you won’t find it here! I have never been through anything remotely close to my SIRVA injury! The Influenza Vaccine was administered too high and too deep into my upper shoulder and that’s when my nightmare started. I knew immediately that something was not right as the pain I endured at that moment was not normal! For weeks, I called my medical clinic and I kept being pushed off and told that it’s normal to have some soreness. I had gone in and they all looked at me like I was just another crazy complainer. I had X-rays taken and was finally referred to an Orthopedic doctor who immediately diagnosed me with SIRVA. I was dumbfounded as I had never heard of such a thing. The worst part about it is that most medical professionals haven’t heard of it either! To make a long story short, after months of pool and PT-physical therapy, cortisone injections, laparoscopic shoulder surgery, and more PT and lidocaine infusions, among others, nothing helped! Nothing at all! When I was diagnosed by the Orthopedic doctor, I began to research what it was that had happened to me. It was during this time, that I found Miss Leah Durant. It had been an emotional roller coaster of trying to find medical care from the medical field which was beyond stressful, hopeless, and just plain relentless. Leah was able to give me a little bit of hope back and I couldn’t be more thankful. I was a mess and nobody was helping me except for that one Orthopedic doctor who diagnosed me. Leah and her staff, especially Ashley, were beyond caring, compassionate, and very attentive. They kept me going at a time when I almost gave up on everything, literally! They were always on top of things and would keep me well updated as we moved through the federal governments processes. It is a long drawn out process but rest assured that Leah and her staff will get you through each phase of this process with the utmost attention to your needs. So don’t give up and keep educating others around you so that others don’t have to go through the pain and agony that is now a permanent part of my everyday life, or worse! There are others out there much worse than me and Leah is definitely who I would recommend. If I could give 10 stars, I would triple it! Especially grateful—Missy and Chad S. from Wisconsin.
