I can't tell you how happy I was having Leah Durant and her whole team, especially Ashley, represent me while I suffered from SIRVA. I never heard of SIRVA until I started googling information, trying to see why it was taking so long for the pain in my arm to stop after receiving the flu shot. Instead of the pain subsiding after a few days, as it always had in the past, it was getting worse. I thought maybe the nurse hit a nerve or something and it will heal with time, so I began to google. I was devastated when I started to read about SIRVA, realizing that this is probably what I had, knowing now this probably will not heal. The MRI confirmed that I have SIRVA. And for the next 2.5 years, even with months and months of Physical Therapy, prescription pain medication and 3 cortisone injections, I was still in pain. I felt like I was losing my mind, not being able to escape this pain. During the whole miserable process, Leah Durant was wonderful and dealing with her and knowing how hard she was fighting for me, helped me cope. She fought hard and I was justly compensated for the two and a half years of misery caused by a simple thing like receiving the flue vaccine. I think it's important for these cases to be reported to the government. I stopped taking the flu shot but went to my primary care physician for the COVID vaccines. I'm afraid that this can happed again. I didn't trust just anyone to give me the Moderna shots so I called my GP. I'm afraid for my family too. I think the people who administer these injections need to be more careful or better trained. Because if you're reading this, you understand what I'm saying. This was a traumatic experience. I was in pain and frustrated and also afraid to have surgery. But eventually, after I couldn't stand being in constant pain, we began the process for me to have surgery...Then both my parents became sick. So I needed to postpone the surgery.. I was still in pain at both their funerals but shortly afterwards I started to feel less and less pain. so, if you can hold off on the surgery, it took 2.5+ years but it did get better. And again, during the whole miserable experience, I thank God that I found Leah Durant. I highly recommend Leah Durant and her group. And I know you will be happy if you contact her too.. She's extremely educated on SIRVA. She knows exactly what needs to be done. Not only is she smart, she's kind and considerate and easy to communicate with. They stay on top of everything and kept me informed. Ashley was so wonderful. So easy to talk with. Very professional yet friendly and compassionate. They told me exactly what to expect and the end result was even better than expected. 3 years ago I read a review on Leah Durant when I was first googling and learning about SIRVA... and that's why I contacted her and I'm so glad I did. Like many others, I had an adverse reaction to my annual flu-shot resulting in a frozen shoulder with a number of associated serious complications.
