I was in a very challenging situation with respect to an employee agreement and a possible loophole. My stress level was through the roof because I felt pressured to leave without severance or take a lower-paid non-severance position. Once Alan got involved the conversation changed immediately. I received severance soon thereafter. I would feel very confident having Alan in my corner in the future.

I am current client of Alan Lescht and Associates being represented by Mr. Alan Lescht himself. As a disabled veteran with over twenty-five (25) years of government service I found myself in a very complex and high profile employment crisis in which I was terminated from my government employment. Prior to retaining Alan Lescht and Associates, I unsuccessfully worked with a high profile law firm in Washington, DC and after racking up an enormous amount of attorney fees with this firm, they did not achieve my desired results. Thus, I found myself in a tough spot desperately needing an honest attorney who cared as much about me, my case and my family as they did about the money. During my initial consult with Alan, he expressed great concern of my situation and vowed to aggressively represent me and attain the results I desired. Alan and his team thoroughly reviewed my case and put together an extremely strong defense. Knowing that things were financially tight for me and my family during this time, Alan did everything in his power to keep down the costs. The amount of professionalism and hard work that was invested in my case shows that Alan Lescht is more than just a super attorney. He is a very caring person who genuinely cares for the well-being of his clients other than just-for-profit. Throughout the process, Alan and his team kept me informed and abreast of all developments, reassuring me that we had a very strong case, which helped me to withstand during these tough and challenging times. Although when you first meet Alan he appears to have a very calm demeanor, I was extremely impressed by his performance during a mediation session where he commanded the room by not backing down or settling for less than my desired outcome. I was truly in awe of his talent, natural skills and unwavering position. My case is in the final stage of settlement and my family and I are very grateful to Alan Lescht and Associates as they carried and guided me through the most difficult challenge of my career, which not only affected me but my family. I am very pleased with the outcome of my case and I strongly recommend Alan Lescht and Associates to anyone who are experiencing employment difficulties that are looking for a strong, dependable and trustworthy attorney. Lastly…it is truly evident why Alan Lescht has earned the prestigious title of “Super Attorney.” He really is an amazing attorney!!

I wouldn't have given him 1 star but it's the minimum. I paid Alan $300, we spoke for 5 minutes, he passed me off to someone who never contacted me, and then I received a call saying we can't help you.

This law firm does not provide clients a copy of their files upon request, you will have to write the DC or MD Bar Association to obtain info on an ethics complaint, or the state attorney general to have things looked into. It’s best to keep things documented and write the bar associations, this law firm, and or the attorney general as necessary. They may be good lawyers but to an extent they are morose after $$$ than firms that offer similar services and seem to have an issue respecting that files belong to the client and not them.

Alan and his team of highly professional and competent attorneys championed my argument of hiring discrimination advocating through careful thorough and methodical representation to glean a favorable outcome. Susan stood fast against a large federal agency to protect and support my position. Alan, Susan, Rani and Joyce - Thank you.

When my mom had a case where she was wrongfully terminated by the Dept. of Behavioral Health, Wash DC, we went straight to Alan and his team. They were comforting, reassuring, reliable and professional. They took on our case and took the fight to the DBH. And two years later after finally having our day in court, we prevailed. Words cannot express our gratitude to Alan, Rani, Joyce, Anabia, Stephanie and all the members of his team (current and former). They are all rockstars in my book. If you need a legal team that will fight for you and win for you, look no further. :-)

My experience with Mr. Lescht and his team was awful. They were not interested in my situation and paid absolutely no attention to details. I was the victim of brutal harrassment and abuse at my place of employment and finally fired because I had cancer. My employer was absolutely off-the-rails in their conduct and my case should have been a slam-dunk. When I met with Alan Lescht I had a bad feeling and frankly I wish I had listened to my gut. I was talked into paying an initial fee to arbitrate with an EEOC facilitator. That arbitration was, what can only be described as surreal. Alan sent a flunky lawyer who was completely un-prepared, uninterested and disrespectful to me. She spent her time checking emails and talking to her assistant about another case. When it was her turn to speak, she started by saying, "... well, I don't know that much about this case ..." rolled her eyes and gave a knowing nod to the EEOC facilitator, as if to say she was representing yet another pesky client. My former employer, on the other hand, was lawyered-up with six or seven people on the other side of the table. I've had time to reflect on all this and I firmly believe Alan Lescht has a standard operating procedure that has nothing to do with helping clients or settling discrimination issues. His modus operendi is to: 1) Assume his clients are stupid. 2) Suggest arbitration to everyone. 3) Lose all arbitration - leaving his clients with no option but to litigate. 4) Charge a hefty hourly fee and demand a 40-50% settlement fee. 5) Pay no attention to the case and continue charging legal fees. 6) If a client expresses frustration, do something, but not much. 7. Suggest a settlement with terms that are written by the defendant. I don't normally write reviews, and I imagine Mr. Lescht has had many annoying clients who claim discrimination when there was none - so I can understand how he may be jaded and burned out, That said, he is in the business of dealing with people who have often been on the receiving end of hostile, abusive behavior from their employers. These people, I would imagine, are usually stressed-out and feeling very vulnerable. If he cannot honorably represent this kind of client I think he should not be practicing this kind of law. I don't know if the positive reviews here are legitimate or not. I hope, for everyones' sake they are. Perhaps things have changed over the last two years, but given my personal experience I cannot endorse this law firm,
