This is a bummer because, as you’ll see, I have not left a negative review in the 15 years of having my account:
I recently worked with Andrew to obtain advice on a silent partnership contract that was very bare bones (a couple hundred words in length).
I was surprised to see that I was charged $438 for Andrew to read this incredibly small document and provide maybe 100 words of feedback. (Will update with screen shots once I have redacted the info)
I ended up going with another lawyer who was able to provide a couple of rounds of feedback on this document for about the same price and sharing me he felt I overpaid greatly for the services provided.
To be fair, Andrew was thorough and fast, which is why it’s an anomaly this did not extend to his charges and the time he stated required almost 2 hours of billing.
I hate to leave a review like this but I communicated this information to Andrew asking to split the difference which would have him still making $250 for the single volley of feedback but he was unwilling to work with me.

My wife Cynthia and Me were frightened and devastated when our brokerage firm after having lost 1.5 million dollars of our retirement savings over the course of a year and a half phoned to say we should liquid our portfolio.

I am a retired personal injury litigation attorney with more than 45 years of experience. I knew within 15 minutes of our conversation that Jeff was an extraordinary and highly skilled litigator. His analysis and legal advice was cogent, concise and as it turned out legally correct. Within days my wife and me met Jeff and his team. We retained his firm to pursue our case.

I reached out to Pariente Law firm for some potential legal issues I had concerns that I would be possibly facing. I called to make an appointment but my work schedule conflicts with the same time that the firm's office hours are open. I researched electric vehicles, decided upon and purchased a new Chevrolet Bolt from a dealership. A month later, Chevrolet issued a safety recall/battery warning advising me the vehicle was at risk of catching fire while charging. Chevrolet said until they could replace the battery pack and instructed me not to charge the vehicle indoors nor beyond 75% of the battery capacity. One of my purchase criteria was based upon vehicle driving range between charges so I calculated my daily driving needs. So this safety advisory limited my daily driving range below my needs. I kept inquiring when I could expect the replacement & Chevrolet was unable to commit.
I asked the Chevrolet dealer to either replace the battery pack, or give me a vehicle with the new battery pack, or allow me to return the vehicle. They refused all of my requests.
I was advised by friends & neighbors that I may be able to file a Lemon Law claim forcing Chevrolet to comply one way or another. I researched attorneys who handled these types of cases. Edzant Price, LLC was one of several I contacted.

I contacted attorney Brown via voice mail and got a prompt reply. I told him about a few legal matters that were admittedly tricky, bar one. Sadly, although I was not able to hire him, he gave me some solid information how I might help myself with the Insurance Commission and Florida Department of Financial Services as well as said he would check with some associates to see if they were interested in these areas of law. He listened patiently and with compassion and actually gave some helpful advice. Unbelievable! I don't usually take the time to review those I have not directly done business with but his rare professionalism merited my time.
