I researched attorneys who would handle a separation/family court case more locally as I'm new to Cayuga County; wherein I found Richard to have a 5-star rating with positive feedback/comments from his clientele. I will be no exception. Richard/Patrice make a wonderful team. They have been straightforward/honest with my questions and potential outcomes with my situation. Ron is a very respectful and a straight shooter attorney. He's fair with pricing and does not waste your time. I had two lawyers prior before hiring Ron. I wish I would've met him first. He does not let anything slide and will argue the law as is. No games. No drama.

I have been fighting a CPS Civil Rights case with Mr. Del Col for 7 years now. The egregious things that happened to our daughter are slightly summarized in this New York Post article:

Jean represented me during my divorce proceedings for a little over a year until an agreement was made. We were able to come to an agreement and settle out of court and mostly stay out of the court house. I felt represented very well and have the utmost confidence in Jean's legal prowess. We were ticketed on the Taconic on our way north, and the town court was much too far away to contest the ticket in person.
After research, we chose Jonathan Katz to represent us in town court. Jonathan's office explained the process clearly, and communicated promptly. The ticket was reduced from a 4 point unjust result to a 0 point non-moving violation (improper parking), and we paid the fine by website the same day. Excellent result.

I had a very complicated case. The first time , I looked at him and said to myself ,He is too young ,does He have experience. Then a found out He is an expert, a very good listener, respectful. What was impressive on him ,He feels sorry for you when you don't have money ,helps you to cut cost . He doesn't want just to money from when you don't. He gave me so many advises to lower fees. He doesn't drop your call because you do not have money. My case has been resolved peacefully .

I recently went through a devastating period in my life where I was charged with 2 felony charges and a misdemeanor related to my business. I turned to a friend who is a well respected prosecuting attorney and asked who the best defense attorney is in the area...without hesitation she said Joel Peppetti. The prosecuting attorney said that he was the most prepared, the most knowledgeable, and will research the facts of your case. I immediately made the call to Mr. Peppetti's office and I am so grateful that I did. I appreciated Joel's professionalism throughout my case. He was very patient in letting me explain the circumstances of my case. He was very straight forward, he never over promised, didn't "sugar coat" anything. I was concerned with the legal fees I was going to incur, but Joel was very honest with his fees. He explained how the fees would be assessed, and there were no hidden charges. Even after paying my legal fees to his office, I needed additional appointments to discuss my case. Joel met with me without charging me additional fees. The best news of all is that, through his legal expertise, I reached an agreement with the Commonwealth of PA to dismiss my felony charges, and plead "no contest" to the one misdemeanor. Even though this event was horrible and turned my life upside down, I will always be forever grateful to Attorney Joel Peppetti and his staff!

I had an excellent experience with Daniel Kron. From our very first phone conversation he explained everything to me in terms I could easily understand. My case was what I perceived to be a difficult, high conflict case in regard to visitation and custody. It was a very tumultuous time for me and Daniel always took the time, generously I might add, to explain things thoroughly and to discuss strategy. From the beginning, Daniel was straightforward, concise, transparent and knowledgeable. We often discussed various options at length along with his recommendations and personal advice as to how he thought we should proceed. I could not recommend Ms. Browde more strongly to represent you in your legal matters. I had a situation where I had to be divorced and it came without warning. After our motor vehicle incident with our son and having it out of county, we did not know who to call. I have many trusted law enforcement partners in the the surrounding counties so I reached out to three of them and all three said, "call Angelo Rose". One of these contacts even said "you absolutely need to call Angelo Rose". We are glad we did. Maria saved me! After several other lawyers hacked up my case, took advantage of my resources & left me extremely vulnerable, she came in & cleaned things up! Rather quickly too! Will has been my saving grace. I went through numerous attorneys and have gotten nowhere settling with my ex in family court. Will is educated, fierce, honest, makes himself available for you, and really cares. He has become more than an attorney to me and I consider him a friend. I fired Emanuel to represent me in a circus of a divorce and custody case. The case spanned two counties as my estranged spouse had just disappeared and attempted to file for spousal support after being out of mine and the kids' lives for years. Emanuel was able to consolidate all of the case matters to one county and have them heard under one judge for a legal decision on all of the various aspects including the spousal support, child custody, and division of assets. We were able to first locate my estranged spouse and Emanuel was very tactful in his approach and able to get my former spouse served.
There were multiple sessions for this case as the estranged spouse was not meeting the bare minimum court requirements or putting any sort of effort forward toward a resolution. Emanuel dealt with frequent last-minute rescheduling of court dates which spawned from constant requests from my former spouse. In the end she lost it a bit and cursed out the entire court and all involved, but Emanuel was able to brush it off and and use the outbursts to our advantage.
After multiple warning mail and email messages from the court my former spouse still chose to keep showing up late or postpone the proceedings and finally ended up defaulting on the case. I was able to retain my full custody of both children and all of the marital assets. He was able to strategically play the long chess game and let my estranged spouse move herself into her own checkmate status.
During the proceedings this was all obviously new to me so he was able to answer my endless stream of questions as well as explain any legal jargon which I didn't understand with ease. I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you so much from myself and both of my children!

First and foremost, the Magnell Office is a cut above the rest. They were not only cordial and attentive but displayed a strong sense of trust, integrity, and reliability when taking on my case. Back in 2020, I got a speeding ticket for driving a 53 in a 30. As an out-of-state driver, I was unaware of New York's point system. Not to mention the fact that this was my first-time offense. Long story short, I would have gotten 6 pts; however, the Magnell Office brought it down to 0 pts and a fine for littering on the highway. I highly recommend this law firm. As a father himself, Nick knows how much our children mean to us. His reputation and more importantly, his relationship with his own kids is one of the reasons I felt so confident in consulting and ultimately hiring him in the first place. Nick represented me in a custody conciliation hearing and was able to get exactly everything we asked for. Nick is a no-nonsense lawyer. He did not promise me the world or inflate our chances and then not deliver. Nick told me exactly how the process would work from start to finish and how he expected things to go based on his vast experience. He was not wrong. In the hearing, Nick worked well with the master assigned to the case and the other party had really no other option but to acquiesce. He also assisted the master in making a recommendation that would not be cost prohibitive to either side. I specifically said I did not want to cause more grief than necessary to my wife and he listened. He did not disparage my wife by any means and conveyed my intentions flawlessly.
