Very professional but compassionate. Efficient, prompt, dedicated, not just him but his entire team. After an experience with a previous attorney, Mr. Treece changed my perspective and it was a fabulous experience. And even though the time I was going through was not the best, Mr. Treece and his team made everything easier. They sincerely made me feel that for them, I was not just another case, but they took care of me in every detail, not only providing me with information but even beyond that, they gave me all the support.

We were referred to this lawyer by a previous Duval county (Florida) judge after the separation of the unwed parents of a child with the indication that the mother might leave the state with the child and will not return. Florida law does not grant legal rights to an unwed father until paternity, time-sharing and shared responsibilities are established in court.
Overall, I am very satisfied with the result of this temporary hearing, giving credit to Debra and Thomas Treece. We are still waiting for the final hearing and hope that the Treece law team will continue to represent us fairly and honestly.
The Treece law team does not shoot for bashing the opposite party. From the beginning on, it was clear that they want a fair and honest outcome with no lies and only honesty. The reason to seek help was to fairly establish legal rights for the father and do all we can to benefit the child. The Treece law team maintained to fairly reach an agreement and asked for the continuation of the child's primary parent, which is tough to establish if it is the father who performed most parental responsibilities.
One "thing" I would like to mention is that I wish that the Treece law team would be more readily available when the father has an IMMEDIATE legal question, due to the mother using unfair tactics, lies and accusations that are unwarranted. I would love to at times receive a quick, brief legal advise right then and there, though acknowledge that we are not their only clients.
If you are looking for an aggressive lawyer to bash your opponent, keep looking. If you are looking for an aggressive FAIR lawyer, "fighting" for what is the honest truth and the best for the child, you found a calm legal team working for you.

Once my daughter received an order from the court, my daughter interviewed with many other attorneys. They would only allow her to talk with them. Upon meeting Mrs. Treece, I felt an immediate connection to her and Mr. Treece. In my opinion, they are like family to us. They are very approachable as well as professional. My daughter who is a new attorney herself knew this case needed experienced attorneys that would give her their best efforts. According to my daughter at trial, they did just that. Their entire staff has been amazing. I am very thankful for everything they have done and continue to do for my daughter and granddaughter!!!

Mr. Neavitt was an excellent choice for my custody case matter. I had previously worked with Jarvis, Kreager and Sullivan, a supposedly "big name" in the local Family Law scene, but everything about Mr. Neavitt and his staff was an improvement over that much larger firm. Mr. Neavitt's staff prepared my court filings and did an excellent job from the beginning, and they took the time to get to know my case so that they could effectively communicate my arguments. This was a big deal for me, because the staff at Jarvis did a terrible job, and my wife and I were eventually forced to prepare all of the documents ourselves. On the day of the actual court appearance, Mr. Neavitt was clearly in charge. He seemed to give off an air of competency and control that was felt by everyone, including and especially opposing counsel. I would recommend his office highly to anyone looking to settle a Family Law case.

Mr. Neavitt was my attorney on a complex domestic violence and child custody dispute, and support matter. My complex custody issues included substance abuse, domestic violence and mental illness, all of which Mr. Neavitt skillfully reported to the court over vigorous opposition. I was granted domestic violence temporary restraining orders. The support issues were complex because my husband (self-employed) has refused to produce discovery and any financial information. Mr. Neavitt was able to focus the court's attention directly on these matters, despite the smoke & mirrors & misdirection of my husband and his legal counsel. The result of the hearing was 100% in my favor. Mr. Neavitt's skill, knowledge and Family Law expertise have been well worth the money that I have paid him thus far, and the $25K attorney fee award which he was able to obtain for me yesterday will go a long way toward continuing my legal representation and obtaining a fair distribution of our assets. I am a single mom, on a limited income, and Mr. Neavitt really fought for me. P.S. Mr. Neavitt's staff is fabulous to work with, especially Julie, Claudia and Sue!!

I hired Attorney Nicole D. Sullivan in 2016 after suffering damage to my C-spine in a fall at work which required 3 discs to be fused with rods and screws to stabilize the vertebrae. In the same fall I was knocked out which caused a concussion and damaged both hips which were totally replaced in coming years. I was forced to retired early and my employer tried to deny my injuries were work related even though they sent me to Lawrence General Hospital via ambulance. They even refused to pay the ambulance cost until Attorney Sullivan pushed the issue. I am now receiving an Accidental Disability Retirement benefit that started in January of 2023. It was a long road with many medical procedures and Attorney Sullivan made sure I was paid and all medical bills paid! I will never be pain free but, my quality of life is better thanks to the offers of Attorney Sullivan and her associates. Highly recommended for workers comp issues!

As a dad going into an uphill custody battle, I was terrified of what was to come. I had heard all the dad horror stories, of how they put up a fight but in the end the court system sided with mom and more child support was to be paid by the dad. The thought of coming out of this with a victory was a mear desire, and I was convinced that it would be like trying to find ET (only in the movies). But then this amazing person/lawyer was recommended by my wife. And everything changed after bringing her onboard with us to this uphill battle. Her incredible knowledge and attention to detail has been key to our outcome. For Karla there is no hour too late or task to daunting. In court she doesn’t back down from other lawyers while being attacked by them, and she stays a true professional at the same time. Out if court she has coached me, and helped me navigate the backlash that comes with these battles. Hi Tom assisted me in a dispute with PayPal when I won the argument in eBay about a delivered item that I believe was stolen I lost a dispute with PayPal with a bank. Chris Doskocil is the best attorney I've ever interacted with, and stands out against the stereotypes of lawyers. I had a small claims case that never should have went to court. Chris tried to remedy it before he'd even accept payment, and then diligently pursued the case despite how petty it had become. Ultimately, he won both the initial petition and had the frivolous countersuit dismissed, not only proving our case, but doing some last-minute research to defend my family against the bogus countersuit. I fully intend to work with Chris next time I need legal assistance. Best lawyer I've ever worked with!

I had never met Chris before, but I was in need of family law lawyer to represent me at a upcoming court hearing , with a judge in Hillsboro , which I was dreading going to. I google searched and Chris.
After calling explaining my situation to him , he reassured me he would be there to represent me, and basically to relax and let him handle it .
Not only did he handle the legal aspect of it all, but he did it in a manner that I did not even have to appear in court. He was very thorough, detailed, respectful, and very efficient with his time
( and my money).
He has a ,"Can Do" attitude , which I really liked. I would HIGHLY recommend Chris , and I will be hiring him again if the need arises.

Nick Gomes is amazing. He listened carefully to the details of our case against a solar company that defrauded my husband, tricking him into signing a document that he understood was authorizing a bid but in fact obligated us to a 25 year, $ 25 ,000 contract! We learned a out this only qhen the company dumped the panels in our yard.Nick quickly created a letter demanding damages for emotional distress, prompting the solar company to call is to find out "how to make this go away." We settle the matter quickly.

I do not know how I would have gotten through my divorce if I had not had Adrienne as my legal counsel. From our very first interaction she was so honest which I appreciated and found refreshing. Adrienne not only knows the law, she practices always keeping the law in the forefront of any conversation or interaction, which was nice for me because it made things simple regarding what could be negotiated and what was simply the law.
She worked hard with opposing counsel to ensure the process continued to move forward as she recognized that I could not move forward in life until my divorce was finalized. Adrienne is extremely organized and has an uncanny attention to detail. I trust her implicitly and although I do not plan on getting married or divorced again, if I did find myself in that situation, I would not want any other counsel except Adrienne.
Adrienne is a fierce advocate for her clients and she really took the time to get to know me as a person, my sense of humor and values as well as my triggers (I hate that word) or issues where I could easily become emotional. Adrienne is very honest and will give it to you straight so you always know where you stand. She kept me on track, moving forward and managed my emotions with grace and compassion. She gave me reassurance when needed, always keeping the law in the forefront of any decision or negotiation. There were times I thought my head was going to explode, and she was exceptional at bringing me back to the task at hand in order to reach the finish line with fair and equitable resolution for all involved.
Divorce is not for me and like many others I didn’t get married to get divorced, but Adrienne made it not only bearable but at times enjoyable. I should clarify, the divorce itself was not pleasant but working with her was an absolutely enjoyable experience and made one of the worst times in my life a little more bearable. We made it through as a team, with her leading the way from start to finish, and I will forever be grateful for her service and the due diligence she gave not only to my case but to me as a person.

Jill represented me on a case in 2010 and again with my divorce in 2020. The 2020 divorce began with me asking Jill for guidance given my suspicions of infidelity on behalf of my then husband. Jill advised me to hire a private investigator whom she had worked with in prior cases. The details from that investigation led to my then husbands admissions of infidelity in a deposition, all in a quick two month time period. Jill pushed me when I needed to be pushed, and guided me on how to live my life with my ex during the divorce process and then the subsequent pandemic. I needed someone strong and powerful on my team to fight for my future and the future of my two small boys.
We are now on the other side of the divorce and I was able to move to another state and have the parenting schedule that worked best for my boys. On May 15, 2015 I was served with a child custody suit concerning my adopted grandchild. I was to appear in a NC court on May 21, 2015. I live in Missouri. I found Brad Schulz on the NC Bar Assoc website. Acting on blind faith, I hired Brad and his staff. He went to work immediately requesting copies of information I forgot existed. Through phone conversations he prepared my case. On May 21st he represented me so I didn't have to travel to NC. Working together through today's amazing technology, Brad won that custody case. Either Brad or his assistant, Catherine, were in contact with me at least every other day, if not every day. Because of family dynamics involved, I feel my life was restored.
