Mr. Mallicoat is a knowledgeable lawyer who attempted to help my wife and I with saving her Father's house from foreclosure. My Father-in-Law was preyed upon by a "foreclosure-prevention firm" and lost thousands before I spoke with Mr. Mallicoat. We were able to prevent this "firm" from scamming my Father-in-Law out of further money after speaking with Mr. Mallicoat. Unfortunately, we did up losing the house to foreclosure because the process was far too advanced before I got Mr. Mallicoat involved. Even still, I would recommend Mr. Mallicoat for his caring, knowledgeable, and practical help in legal matters.

Julie Landau is one of the most AMAZING lawyers I've ever met. She gave me time on her weekend's. She dropped everything she could when I needed her. I could not have asked for a better experience to get through my divorce. I came across her by accident, and was trying to do a divorce myself. I needed a special form that only an attorney would have. I went to her office and she spoke with me personally about my situation. Her knowledge and professionalism kicked right in and I hired her. She helped me with a very difficult situation. If I had any questions, she always called me in to go over them. I was also in a financial bind, and she worked with me. She made things so much easier for me to help me get through everything. She always went in front of the judge and talked to my husband's attorney without me having to be there unless I felt the need to be. She presented my case and got me exactly what I needed most! I couldn't have found a better attorney to help and work with me in my very difficult divorce case. She fought for me unlike any other would have or has in the past. If you need a QDRO or DRO (for divorce) this is the lawyer you need to use!!! She is the nicest, fairest most decent lawyer I have dealt with and unfortunately I have had experience with three divorce lawyers for one divorce from HELL. She is very competent and knows her stuff. I wish I could have hired her as my first divorce lawyer. Anyway, I was able to have her fix the DRO even though she's in Ithaca and I'm in the Hudson Valley! We did everything over the phone/ email. So don't let distance sway you. If you have a New York State Retirement or 401k and are getting divorced you need to call her. Don't let your divorce lawyer handle the QDRO because they could screw it up like mine did. Use an expert like Carla.
