I came to Mary Beth with a high conflict, child custody case. After initially, dealing with another lawfirm to represent me, who was incompetent and didn’t take the time to fully read the abundant documentation that I had, it was truly a blessing that I was referred to Mary Beth and the Goodnight Law Firm. I’m giving 5 stars, and to be honest, I would give 10 if I could, because of not only Mary Beth‘s tenacity and legal aptitude, but because, she fights for her clients and for what is right and just. I received a ticket in Grant County and it was a challenge to locate a firm that would go there.
After reaching out to NW Liberty and speaking with Jorge late in the day on a Friday. I didn’t have to do anything, except provide him the necessary documentation. Throughout the process Christopher kept me updated and explained the process. Both Jorge and Christopher provided excellent service and were very responsive. I was very lucky to have chosen Mr. Pinon to represent me in my divorce case. My ex-wife was the Petitioner. After contacting 9 attorneys, Mr. Pinion was the only one who I felt comfortable with, and he offered me a free consultation session. His rates were reasonable. His staff was attentive and supportive throughout the entire process. What should’ve been a straight forward divorce after 35 years of marriage that did not involve children, real estate, etc., it took a year and a half to settle the case, and Mr. Pinon fought for me like a lion through many surprises and assaults throughout the process. Mr. Pinon was full of bright and creative ideas to HELP me out. At the first consultation meeting, Mr. Pinion showed empathy and kindness as he suggested to resolve the matter in a non-contested way to avoid complications and keep the cost down, but my ex-wife insisted about the contested way. Tracy was very highly referred to me, after 1st Attorney I retained quit the firm & My case. I was then handed off to a partner who demanded payment in 48hrs, or they would drop me.! Not willing to honor my payment plan with the Attorney I had been working with. I was very stressed & scared, as I am Legally Disabled, on a fixed income & live off the Alamony my X was withholding. My X had moved out of state & stopped doing the things he had agreed to do in our Divorce Decree. I have a hard time thinking sometimes, espically during stressful periods. Tracy & Joelle were very patient with me, which I appreciated greatly, as I get impatient with Myself. I was not always disabled. Trying to find clarity through severe overwhelm is not easy & on some days impossible. They were understanding, professional & kind. Tracy found ways to help me when I saw none. Her upbeat personality & willingness to hear me out was a God Send to me. She treated me like a real person, not just a file on her desk, as the other firm had. Dennis made an unfortunate situation manageable. As one would anticipate, I was extremely nervous about the process. Dennis immediately made me feel comfortable and that eased my nerves. My case took over 2 years to come full circle and was slightly complicated, being that the person who caused my 4-car pile accident lied about having insurance... but it was a fairly easy feat for Mr. Carter to overcome.
