So I have waited a while to write this review because even after divorce, Irene and Val continue to support me in difficult situations. When I came to their office, I spoke to many attorneys that continued to tell me to wait on things to go through mediation. I decided to listen but after multiple people told me I was out of discovery to move forward with a child custody evaluation, I decided to speak to Irene. Irene, as explained in every review, is an amazing person. She is a mother, wife, and attorney. Its because of this she was very understanding as to all aspects of my situation and helped me though the process in every step of the way. I think it's important to understand that what makes a good divorce attorney is Obviously their education and experience, but to have an attorney that listens to your specific situation and know every way to navigate your divorce and explain the best approach for you is what is truly amazing. You can go out and find some cut throat good attorney but that's not going to help you in this process. I am thankful I found her when I did because I believe I wouldn't have been heard and my life would look a whole lot differant right now.
In the middle of my case, Val stepped in and she's been helping me ever since. Val is another attorney that was on my case and again, she is amazing. Always on top of things, read all my emails on a daily basis, and responded to everything that needed immediate attention. Going to mediation, I walked in thinking nothing was going to get accomplished. I continued wanting to just give up everything to get it over with. Val supported me through the final settlement and stood up for me during those times. Always advising me on everything and speaking up against any ridiculous requests. Val turns the impossible into possible. Another way to say this, she turns ridiculous into reasonable.
The main point I want to covey here, if you are looking around for an attorney, you are trying to be reasonable and the other person is looking to take everything they can from you, you found the right firm. They have all 5 stars and all of them are earned. Thank you all for everything you have done and continue doing.

I often encounter Shawn in court and he always conducts himself professionally and ethically. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I feel that Shawn really does have the best interest of his clients in mind. He is not an attorney that just wants to settle cases and move on. I often consult with him about legal issues, and he is always able to produce proper legal advice.
Additionally, he has a wonderful relationship with the Judges and that goes a long way in criminal defense.

Kim is one of the best divorce lawyers in the area in my opinion. My case involved a high conflict person with personality disorders who manipulated our son and the system to her advantage. After having another lawyer not present my evidence at trial, I hired her. She stands out because she became intimately involved with my case, was available for offering advice on off-hours, knows technology, was realistic, knew how to negotiate, and helped me change my perspective for better results. Kim was able to get me the best results, and now offers an effective and potentially fruitful path forward that may get my son back.

Cant say enough about Greg. He always had time for me, even when he didn't lol. On more than one occasion we spoke during a federal holiday, which at least for me, goes to show the level of commitment he has to his clients. Any questions or concerns I had I could always reach out to him, and know he'd get back to me as soon as he could. He was also quick to make sure I knew things as soon as he did, and I never once felt left in the dark. He also really made me feel like he was on my side, not like an atrorney, but more like a friend. That said, Greg was always extremely professional and never sugar coated things. As much as we both hoped for the outcome we ultimately got, he made sure I was aware of all the posibilities that existed, and educated me in a way that made me feel as in control as I could in a moment when things definitely feel out of one's control. Although I hope I never have to, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to friends or family finding themselves in need of his services.

After my dad passed away in April 2024, my mom and I filed for Dependency and Indemnity Compensation (DIC) through the VA. Despite working with a VA liaison and following up for 10 months, we received no real updates—just that the claim was still pending. Then, my mom received a notice from the VA, which she mistakenly believed was a denial of the DIC claim. Unfortunately, even the local VA liaison misinterpreted it, causing a lot of confusion. Given that my dad’s passing was clearly linked to his disability, we realized we needed legal representation and turned to James Comerford.
From our first conversation, James took the time to listen, understand our situation, and guide us through the process. Initially, we thought we needed to file a rebuttal, but after investigating, he discovered the VA had actually misinformed us—the claim was still being processed. He assured us he would follow up, and shortly after, he called with the great news: the claim had been approved. Not only did he get us answers, but he also knew exactly when my mom would receive her benefits, including back pay.
When I asked James what we owed him, he refused payment—he was simply happy my mom received what she deserved. Even after I insisted, he suggested we make a donation to a charity instead, which we did. His generosity, professionalism, and genuine care for his clients truly set him apart.

STAY AWAY FROM ANY FIRM THAT EMPLOYS KELLY KILROY! She knew she was going to be disbarred and still took our case. We lost huge amount of money because of missed opportunities. She was too focused on saving herself. She would have lost malpractice lawsuit but "had no assets." (This is our opinion based on the facts we experienced).

I can't express how thrilled I am with Sharon's services! I was desperate for help with my custody case—my ex had completely alienated me from our two girls, and every lawyer I called before Sharon either charged for a useless consultation or scheduled me weeks out with no real interest in my case.
Then I called Sharon. From the start, she dove right into understanding my situation, asking detailed questions that no one else had even thought of. During our one-hour phone call (with no guarantee I'd hire her), she showed a level of dedication that blew my mind. We even decided to meet at Olive Garden that same evening, and she drove 45 minutes past her office hours just to accommodate my late working hours.
Here's the kicker: I told her I couldn't hire her until my finances were sorted in a few days. Despite that, Sharon pulled an all-nighter, filed my divorce papers the very next morning, and kept me updated with emails and texts—all on her own dime! UNREAL!
I've dealt with many lawyers in my time, but Sharon is, hands down, the best. She's not just an incredible lawyer—she's an amazing person inside and out. Her genuine concern and that "X" factor set her apart in a profession that rarely shows such rare characteristics. If you pass up on her, you're making a huge mistake. My standard for legal representation is now sky-high because of her.

I originally booked a consultation last year with Pervaiz to discuss my options since I was going through divorce. I didn't have enough info for her during my 1 hour consultation so she cut my session short. So I ended up having a credit for 150$ from the 300$ hour consultation.
After I finalized my divorce amicably with my ex, I decided to reach out to schedule a consultation to write a Will. No Money was collected for this appointment, I just reminded them I had the credit still in my account and they confirmed. I called and emailed the day of my appointment to let them know I had a 103 fever and that I was very sick and I am not able to discuss anything related to a "Will". I mean how could you? With a high fever!! This is a serious topic and you need you full brain capacity to do so!!
Pervaiz refused to reschedule my appointment and they told me if I do not call at my appointment time that they will not allow me to reschedule.
I was diagnosed with the flu and pneumonia and they can clearly tell I am not making my sickness up from the way I was coughing. I offered to send a doctor's note however she just decided to take the credit I have left with them instead of being empathetic with my situation! This clearly shows you that she doesn't care about people! And she just knew I had a credit and took it!
Sickness happens and this unpredictable. I will not recommend her to anyone especially after what happened to me!
