I am a field grade military officer who faced an Officer Grade Determination (OGD) based on a prior disciplinary action I received. Mr. Stevens did not represent me back when I received the disciplinary action, but I hired him to provide me with guidance and assistance in preparing my OGD response.
Mr. Stevens' military law experience was one of the reasons I hired him. He provided me with valuable advice and guidance in how to prepare my submission, what to include, what the reviewing authorities would be looking for, and what the process entailed. We went back and forth with drafts of the OGD submission before it was finalized and sent in.
Based on Mr. Stevens' advice and representation, I felt that I submitted a very strong OGD package that covered the period of military service at issue, and showed that I should be retired at my highest rank. His advice was invaluable, as a negative board outcome can impact me for life. His availability was excellent, he responded to emails in a timely manner and always was on time for scheduled appointments and process milestones. His was very involved throughout the process, first by explaining the overall OGD process, then by providing templates and examples on how to organize my career history to complete my overall package.
Based on my work with Mr. Stevens over an extended period of time, I would highly recommend his services to other military member that needs an attorney in a military law issue.

Our son, an Army enlisted person fell prey to Army SHARP and due process was out the door. Mr. Stevens explained the process, stayed engaged, communicated effectively and eventually got all the charges dropped. Because he knows the UCMJ, he was able to make the case that the accuser made conflicting statements.
Also though I hope never to have to deal with the UCMJ again, I was grateful for the profession plan developed and implemented by this gentleman.

I am a military officer who was falsely accused of sexual assault by another military member. I faced a general court-martial trial and was fortunate enough to have Mr. Stevens represent me.
Before the trial, Mr. Stevens drafted and argued motions, and prepared the witnesses and evidence. In trial, Mr. Stevens gave the opening statement, questioned the witnesses, cross-examined the complainant and government witnesses, and gave the closing argument.
Mr. Stevens' performance in the trial was incredible. He went after the accusers like a shark and picked apart their many inconsistencies. He did an excellent job painting a picture of what actually happened that day and made sure to highlight the many motives the accusers had to lie in this case. His presence in the court room was nothing but professional the entire time and he treated the witnesses with patience and respect while still highlighting their inconsistencies. His work ethic outside of the courtroom during the prep days was unparalleled. I got to talk to a guy who have sat in on over 600 court cases in his lifetime and he said Mr. Stevens is the best there is. I would absolutely recommend him to a friend in need.
Ultimately, I was found not guilty of the alleged sexual assault as well as all other charges I pled not guilty to!

Eric and his team through the use of his legal acumen and the use of Ai and other technology achieve for me a result that was fair and balanced. He listened intently to my needs and concerns throughout the legal process and structured a settlement which allowed me to avoid lengthy and expensive litigation. He also structured the settlement in such a way as to ensure no future litigation and appeals could take place.

One of the most honest and caring attorneys I have dealt with. I randomly choose Eric after so much disappointment from a previous attorney. He was able to somewhat turn my employment situation around. While the final outcome was not what I anticipated, my final settlement was able to at lease recover attorney fees.

I suspect many are like me and when you're looking for an attorney (not related to routine business/personal matters), it's about one of the worst times in your life. There is so much uncertainty, anxiety and you want the BEST attorney to represent you. Someone that is going aggressively and steadfastly look out for your interests at every juncture, provide sage guidance and prod you when you need it and almost needless to say, be absolutely competent in their field. Eric Siegel delivered all that in spades. He worked tirelessly to move the case along to a final resolution (settlement). His attention to detail, his follow through, his confidant drive to win is exemplary.
My case involved a construction contract dispute that was just about to bankrupt me. Our family has worked with business attorneys in the past and while they were fine, I wanted someone of a different caliber. I spent an ungodly amount of time doing online research. I suspect many of us may find our attorneys this way when we're in dire straights. I hope my efforts will save you some time. My advice is close your browser, contact Mr. Siegel's office, you won't find anyone better.
Lastly, I was almost not going to contact him, because AVVO states only 5% of his practice is dedicated to construction. However his reviews were so good I made the outreach and good thing that I did. That 5% means nothing - he is so knowledgeable about the construction industry, contract law, homeowner's right, etc. It's as if 100% of his practice is dedicated to this arena.
Hiring Mr. Siegel was one of the best decisions I could have made in this case and I would absolutely recommend him to anyone that requires an attorney.

To describe what Miriam and the Riedmiller Immigration Law Firm has done for me is a pleasure. Miriam Riedmiller is a knowledgeable, attentive lawyer who helped me out at every step of the way with my fiancée visa. I needed a K1 and K2 visa for my fiancée and the children as well as the I-129F. Due to the excellent preparation that Miriam performed we were able to get a quick turnaround and have the I-129F approved in less than 3 months. Miriam went above and beyond in doing everything in her power to make sure my case reached early completion.
When I first looked up Miriam Riedmiller, I was instantly impressed with her 25 years of experience and how she was the lawyer that other lawyers come to for advice. I also noticed she was a Filipino American which was very helpful because my fiancée was from the Philippines. I needed a person like Miriam on my team who understood the law, the cultural, and the personal issues that are involved with immigration. Miriam B. Riedmiller is an experienced and dedicated U.S. Immigration attorney who is very passionate about her area of practice. When I least expected it I met “the one” in France. A dear friend of mine recommended Miriam who fortunately had the time to handle our case. As is the case with most immigration cases, we hit a couple bumps along the way and each time Ms. Riedmiller’s ingenuity and creativity, not only resolved the issue, moved our case along even further. In our case Miriam demonstrated the ability to turn a Request for Information into an opportunity!
I was fortunate to have our case processed in 2015 before the current craziness. Now, more than ever, it is critical to have competent attorney representation -- Homeland Security and State Department priorities can be changed at anytime and every U.S. Embassy seems to have its own set of rules making every immigration case one of a kind. Ms. Reidmiller is not the least expensive attorney performing this type of work but I cannot be more pleased with the results. With her representation, I was able to get a K1 Visa application approved in just over three months and the fiancé Visa four months later. We are happily married and living in the U.S. We still have one more hurdle to cross next year and will be retaining Miriam to represent us.

I was referred to Mr. Riddick by another lawyer. The lawyer told me that Mr. Riddick was a great attorney. My matter involved gaining more access to my only child, a son. My son's mother wanted sole custody and for me to have much less visitation.
I explained the situation to Mr. Riddick, and he gave me his thoughts and advice on how best to proceed. Mr. Riddick talked to me in a way that made sense, and it was clear that we was quite experienced.
The case took a little less than a year to conclude, but was just resolved favorably for me. Instead of my child's mother getting sole custody, I kept joint custody and got almost double the time I had been getting. For sure, I got a great result.
But I received more than good legal advice. Mr. Riddick encouraged me in other areas of my life, including pushing me to purchase a home, which I am preparing to do, and maintaining a proper relationship with my son's mother, who can be a very difficult person.
I feel like I have really grown as a young man while the case was pending. The case is now over. And Mr. Riddick treated me really well.
He is a terrific lawyer.

My wife's co-worker referred me to Mr. Riddick. Her co-worker told her that Mr. Riddick was thorough, thoughtful, and would get the job done. My case was very complex. I got divorced twenty years ago, and my former attorney DID NOT take care of the pension and retirement issues. So my pension and retirement grew substantially.
My ex-wife then came back asking for a huge amount of money from both sources of my retirement, including money that I had earned in a government retirement savings plan. Without stating the amount, I will say it was quite substantial.
My current wife and I met with Mr. Riddick, and after he explained his thoughts about how we should proceed, hired him the same day. It was clear that he understood the complexity of our case. My wife and I both felt totally comfortable with him, and he showed great compassion. I recall him even asking my wife would she stick by me through this situation. My wife said that she would.
Because of the COVID pandemic, our case was delayed for almost two years in the court system. During that time, we attended an Alternative Dispute Resolution meeting, and reached what we thought was a great resolution to the case.
Then my ex-wife tried to back out of the agreement. Mr. Riddick had to file a very complex motion to enforce the agreement, which had been oral. We actually had to have a difficult court hearing in the matter. After the trial, however, the court rendered a decision which ended the matter in our favor. As a result, I have saved hundreds of thousands of dollars in my retirement accounts, and my current wife, if anything happens to me, will receive all of my retirement and survivor's benefits. My ex-wife no longer has any interest in any of my retirement benefits.
This was a fabulous outcome. And my wife and I were treated so well during the process. Great legal work and great treatment as clients.
I definitely recommend him.

Yurika was everything I could ever ask for in an attorney. Seriously....I can't think of anything she could have done better. My wife was in the country legally on a J-1 visa and we decided to get married and file a marriage-based adjustment of status (for a green card). It was painless the whole way through. Before even compensating or retaining Yurika, she literally answered each and every question I had regarding the process and even had the courtesy to look over our documents to confirm we had everything in order to file with USCIS. This played a huge part in us committing to be her clients. Her firm and paralegals are just as accommodating throughout the process. Ask anything, and they will give you clear and concise answers. We had our final interview last week to which Yurika prepared us for and even accompanied us to the interview with the USCIS officer present. I cannot more whole heartedly recommend attorney Yurika Cooper for your immigration needs. My husband and I had what turned out to be a fairly complex marriage based petition, and what should have been a 6 month relationship with attorney Cooper stretched into 4.5 years. During the long delay our case experienced (which, by the way, had nothing to do with Yurika's work - we experienced a long delay on USCIS' part) we not only were never charged more than the flat fee we had agreed to at the beginning of our case, but attorney Cooper continued to do whatever she could to push our case forward. Since we had to wait so long, again on a delay from USCIS, she eventually referred us to a litigator to file a lawsuit based on the delay. We liked attorney Cooper so much that we were genuinely terrified to leave her. As it turned out, we were eventually successful and the new attorney, who checked over everything that had been done before he came on, found that everything was complete and that she had done everything possible before recommending a lawsuit.
As a client, I can tell you that Yurika is everything you want in a lawyer. She usually gets back to any email within 24 hours, and can usually set up calls within a few days. She is also open to office meetings. Anything that was mailed to her office was followed by an email saying that they received it, and she was prompt in getting things submitted. She also manages her own schedule, so you don't have to go through a gate keeper to get to her. In addition to being responsive, she has tremendous "bed side manner" and always takes time to chat and point out the positive aspects of your case. I know that bed side manner doesn't seem that important when you start a case, but if your case goes off the rails it will be incredibly important to you. Could not recommend her more, she literally saved my family.

This review is long overdue as it has been a few months since my case was settled. Nonetheless, I hope that it helps someone. Though I have a long story as it relates to my injury, I will keep it short — just know Mr. Kearney and his team were with me the entire duration. lock step. I was injured at work about ~8 years ago. My case was longer than many. During those eight years I went through every tactic you could think of from the various insurance companies and adjusters who handled my case. During those eight years, WC insurance found reasons to deny a treatment, or to not pay my benefits, or to make me wait 6 months for a hearing to only agree with our demands the day of (which happened on 2-3 occasions), and everything in between. Their goal is to make an already bad situation even worse. At times they succeeded. However, Mr. Kearney kept fighting for me and never budged. Even when things would become overwhelming and I wanted to quit, he remained calm and consistent while encouraging me to push forward. His tenacity resulted in a settlement that I had honestly almost lost hope on. That is what you get with Mr. Kearney. He is a known and respected entity in the world of injured persons/workers. Opposing counsel knows him and when they greet him you can sense the respect they have for him. Same goes for judges; he knows them, like really knows them. If you need someone to truly fight for you while keeping your best interest paramount, look no further. It is honestly a no-brainer. If he agrees to take you on as a client, jump at it. You will not find more competent, prepared, personalized, experienced, honest, and compassionate representation in the DC area. I went out of my way to thank Mr. Kearney and his team as much as I could while he represented me and am happy to have the pleasure of thanking him again, on a public forum, while encouraging anyone who has been hurt to make Donohoe-Kearney your first call. I paid a retainer for consultation and the drafting of a letter of reply to a not-for-profit organization that was attempting to collect on a claim of a twenty-year-old debt incurred in a European country. Mr. Sternberg took the full hour to listen to my situation and position on the matter, answered all my questions, and left me with a sense of confidence that he was experienced and capable of legally handling my matter. His assistant, Mr. Martz, drafted an eloquent and robust response, which the other party continued to dispute, and I have retained their firm for whatever come next.
I greatly appreciated their responsiveness; they were timely and set up the first consult within a few days of contacting them and the letter they drafted was sent out in a business week. I also felt that they listened to me and took the time to explain the matter to my satisfaction. They often caveated their statements, as many legal matters cannot be fully defined, it depends on a multitude of controllable and uncontrollable items, and they were diligent in ensuring that they understood what I could expect and what the most likely (but not guaranteed!) outcomes would be. Lastly, they took the time to reach out when this process was upsetting or making me nervous and ensured that we were progressing in a manner that was organized, coherent, and deliberate as opposed to making hasty, snap judgements.
I would unreservedly recommend Mr. Sternberg for anyone that has a civil matter involving real estate and international law.

If you are looking for a top caliber lawyer that is reasonable and understands her clients' needs, then Ms. Baker should be your top choice. I recently worked with Ms. Baker in the drafting, negotiation and execution of a pre-marital agreement; a situation that is often very difficult to navigate.
