I have been going to Kathleen for many years now and have always had a pretty good experience but I have to say I am very disappointed with our treatment this year. Understandably, as we did not get them in until the last minute, it has still taken over a month to get them done, without however, one courtesy phone call to let us know how it was going. In fact I called a week and an half ago and was told that it should not be much longer and that they would let me know. No word. Today (one month and two days), in the morning, I called for an update and was told I would receive a call back from our tax preparer to let me know how they were progressing . No word. I called again at 4:45 and was told they were done and would be ready Friday or Monday, in 2-5 days from now. Considering that one has to do a lot of the work oneself and that it is several hundred dollars to get them done, I do feel there should be better customer service, especially for loyal customers. Thank you

I really appreciated the high level overview of the entire ROBS funding process at the start of my interactions with Guidant. They offer clear information by recorded video and in pamphlets. Once I was in the weeds, they were also very responsive answering my questions.

I just wanted to help the people in very tough situation and in uncertain condition of their life. I know the pain and uncertainty in identifying a right attorney which is the most important step during this period. My case is an unique of it's kind and a complex one. I can’t express my painful situation when I initially contacted and met Shelley, honestly there are no words. I was in completely uncertain condition and pro se and nearing the due date to respond to the court for a petition from my ex. That was when I met Shelly. She was very kind, patient and discussed all the case background in detail. Immediately after that she started working and clearly defined the path to an amazing outcome of the case in detail. I can’t imagine where I am today and for sure it would not have happened without Shelley. She is very talented, patient, well organized and extremely dedicative. I could just forget about my case as it was in her hands. She was always used to be very proactive, responsive and taken care of all of my case beyond an attorney and helped me to bring me to the situation where I am today. She is very unique attorney for such a reasonable fee. For sure she deserves multiple times higher fee than what she actually charges for her work and that too with no compromise on the work that she does. I am sure her intention is to do the service to the community for a nominal fee and so she is helping the community like that, otherwise it’s impossible to get such a great attorney with that much of high quality work. One can just pick Shelley as one’s attorney when in need without doing any research. Lastly one most important point: Due to some personal constraints, she had to take break from her work, but my case was seriously in progress. The day when I heard about her withdrawal news, I was almost like collapsed with that news. But she transitioned very very smoothly and carefully, and made me feel like I am completely safe and after that only, she withdrew from the case. During this process, I could not think of her dedication and sincerity in making sure that she referred and transferred my case to the best attorney, transferred all my case documents, expressed her interest to provide all case details as and when needed to later attorney and made sure that the transfer happened very carefully and smoothly and after that only, she exited from my case. Just because of her and my later attorney, I am living my life peacefully today, otherwise I can’t even imagine my situation. I appreciate all your help, Shelley and I don’t have any words to convey my sincere thanks to you. You literally saved me completely. Anybody in need, please don’t waste time and money in searching multiple attorneys. Contact Shelly right away and if she is available and accepts your case, then I am sure you are the luckiest person and will be placed at the safe place finally.

UPDATE after Steve Wieland RESPONSE: Steve Wieland, your response provides even more support in what a horrible attorney you are. Let's address your fabrications (lies): 1. The judge gave us an award of $50.00 NOT the Million plus we had asked for! 2. We were NOT awarded any Punitive Damages! 3. We asked for attorney fees that added to over $200,000.00, we were only awarded approximately $58,000.00 for the “Timber Trespass” issue as you did NOT win any of our damages as you did NOT provide any experts at trial! 4. We did NOT get any Court Costs or equitable relief awarded! 5. We LOST our easement that had been in the family for 120 plus years thanks to your incompetence! 6. You kept our piddly $7062.60 the judge gave us for the 50 plus trees that were stolen from us! (We should have won a lot more) 7. We sued you for malpractice and your insurance company agreed to settle with us to which you were given the remaining amount of your fraudulent fees! 8. We did NOT want to settle our Fraud Claim and Malpractice claim against you, but our attorney demanded it as our expert witness we were utilizing to sue you for malpractice had worked in the same law firm as you and a conflict of interest arose! Shame on you Steve for continuing to defraud the public! All of this is public record for all to see! Everyone who seeks the truth will see that you are a liar!

After reading attorney Steven Wieland’s bio, where he proclaims; “Winning at trial in a real-estate easement dispute involving a large lakefront commercial-development property in Northern Idaho” Well, I (the Trust manager) just had to respond! The Trust originally filed a lawsuit against two entities in Kootenai County Idaho, regarding an easement issue, illegal timber trespass, trespass, and other issues in October 2018, after sustaining millions of dollars in damages to their 120-year-old farmland, which included defendants building an illegal road on their property, and cutting down approximately seventy (70) one hundred (100) plus foot tall trees that can never be replaced. I reached out to Steve Wieland in January 2020, after our first attorney quit prior to Trial (Scheduled for early March 2020), wherein Steve proclaimed that he was an “Expert on land issues, especially easements, and was an experienced trial attorney.” In Steve’s first three weeks, Steve charged the Trust approximately $18,000.00 primarily for reading through the case notes I had provided. Steve also charged the Trust ridiculous fees to research how he would represent the Trust, even though he had stated that he was an “Expert” on the issues being litigated. Steve later jokingly stated that he didn’t think the Trust would pay him that much…REALLY…what choice did the Trust have! They were desperate and it was too late to find anyone else and Steve took advantage of this fact. The next couple of weeks, Steve charged even more outrageous charges for “…reviewing the case and strategy on how to win” instead of getting discovery completed, finding experts, preparing for a continuance, etc… At the first hearing Steve was unprepared and failed to procure a continuance for trial. The Trust desperately needed to disclose expert witnesses in order to win their damages. Steve failed to obtain any experts and failed to disclose the ones I had procured on behalf of the Trust, even though the judge allowed him time to submit them. The attorney who drafted the Trust original easement even met with Steve prior to trial to provide ideas on trial strategy regarding the illegitimate amended easement document (presented by defendants) in question as it was obvious that said amended easement had been manipulated and changed from its original format. Steve missed the opportunity to utilize “Failure of the Meeting of Minds” as one example to rid said bogus amended easement. The Trust was unable to secure a large damage amount at Trial as NO EXPERTS were retained to prove the loss in damages to their property. Steve had attempted to utilize his wife, Jaren, and even brought her with him for a vacation (at the Trust expense) in beautiful North Idaho where the two of them spent a great deal of time in the local pubs instead of adequately preparing for trial! Steve later charged the Trust approximately $30,000.00 plus in attorney fees on behalf of his wife who did absolutely NOTHING! During trial, Steve did not properly cross defendants witness, Sandy Young aka VERDIS, who the Trust believed had forged the amended easement document that was being disputed. The Trust was not awarded the million plus in damages to their property and only received the minimal amount of $50 dollars from the judge because Steve had never procured any expert witnesses to testify at Trial as to the extent of damages! Steve eventually sought almost $200,000.00 in attorney fees and costs for doing very little paperwork, and absolutely nothing to help the case! We hired another attorney to appeal. A monkey in a suit could have won the case with the overwhelming evidence I had provided to Steve to ensure a win! It was a no-brainer! The Trust eventually pursued legal malpractice against Steve Wieland So, before you consider hiring Steve Wieland (I would run for my life), make sure you have him put everything in writing and that he actually knows the subject matter you need legal assistance with! SEE RESPONSE!

I chose Mr. Hadzic to represent me in a custody case after several dangerous incidents with my daughter's father. The whole situation was a tricky one and there were many things that required a creative approcach, but none of it even seemed to phase him. No matter what issue arose in the case, he was prepared and ready with a solution. He was kind and empathetic surrounding the more sensitive information that needed to be discussed regarding DV incidents pertinent to my case and he was determined and knowledgeable throughtout. He was extremely professional and quick to respond when I had questions or concerns. He was straightforward and honest with me which helped me prepare and get ready for everything that was happening. I now have full custody of my daughter and am able to provide her a safe environment to grow and thrive in. I will forever be grateful that I chose him to represent me in such an important time in our lives.

Brent and Michelle were great to work with. They took me on last minute and worked day and night to get my case caught up after my previous attorney left the country and my case unattended. I reached out in hopes that I would be able to have the same experience as others. I have done a lot of research on my vehicle it being 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe sport. I found him listed as a lawyer to consult if needing help with advice to the lawsuit back in 2021. My vehicle is involved in the lawsuit and has had an engine replacement done prior. I would explain my situation fully but this would be an essay, long story short I reached out and wasn’t even able to even discuss my scenario fully without being rudely interrupted and asked questions, which I answered, but then was rudely told he has thousands and thousands of cases, I understand completely Hyundai has a lot of these cars so it’s expected, but then told me he took a week off [redacted] and unless I want to pay an hourly rate of $700 then he would be willing to listen to me. I insisted I could pay the $700 because I believe that I have a case and I have the money, my fiance is a driller in the mines for gold he makes over a 100,000 a year so we would be willing to pay for him as our lawyer if he had not treated me poorly after our first phone call. Completely understand that we all have bad days but to take it out on me [redacted] and that you have thousands and thousands of cases. You could be a lot nicer about it and say I’m going through a hard time right now and don’t have the time to take your case I apologize and I wish you the best. Then I could have gone my way nicely and wouldn’t be writing this review. Unprofessional I’m sure that’s not the case with everyone who contacts him and maybe I just caught him on a bad day but I was highly disappointed.

We contacted Bonner after we had a factory issue with my Hyundai engine.. He responded immediately to each and every email, provided me with very concise information, and he did not let us get taken advantage of by the car dealership! The dealership told me one thing which was not true, and he nipped it in the bud right away! Because of him, they are taking care of an issue that they are REQUIRED to take care of without trying to hassle us. He was kind, prompt, and AMAZING. Thank you so so so much!

I found Bonner because he was listed as one of the class counsel attorneys for the KIA Theta II engine settlement and I was looking for assistance/advice with the claim I had filed with KIA regarding my engine failure. Short story...in my opinion, and Bonner's, KIA failed my family in several ways, including some of it's direct obligations under the settlement, and was not compensating me in full for all of my "out of pocket, reasonable repair related expenses". Upon reaching out to Bonner, he was extremely generous with his time in contacting me back & letting me know the most efficient way for us to communicate, then all the way through the entire process all the way up to and including the BBB Arbitration process. Despite being an extremely well versed and thorough class action attorney, and therefore in VERY high demand and extremely busy, Bonner was always very prompt, polite, transparent, and helpful, in his communications with me. A few other reviews here accuse Bonner of being curt or impolite, well, let me tell you those folks are dead wrong in their interpretations. I found Bonner to be exactly the opposite, helping me when he really didn't have to and could have simply blown me off as yet another in the group of millions covered under the settlement who experienced issues with their KIA engines. The demand for Bonner's services and time simply require him to be concise, transparent, and direct to the point in his communications...as his extremely busy schedule demands. But let me tell you, despite his demanding schedule, Bonner was ALWAYS engaged when I emailed him, offering sound advice and guidance, and reviewing every piece of documentation/evidence I submitted to both KIA and the BBB throughout my case despite there being no billable hours for him, or other reason to be so helpful...other than trying to do the right thing for someone seeking assistance against a big corporate manufacturer who failed its customers. Unfortunately, due to the somewhat unique nature of my case (engine failed out of state and KIA never offered me a loaner vehicle, or informed me I was entitled to one under the settlement, causing me to incur huge rental vehicle fees they would not fully reimburse) the BBB, who clearly barely reviewed any of my documentation Bonner so clearly advised me on, quickly sided with KIA out of hand and I lost my appeal. HOWEVER, this is through no fault of Bonner's whatsoever, and in fact, he had advised me that this was likely going to be the outcome. Bonner remained steadfast and supportive in reviewing documentation and providing advice and assistance despite that outlook and the long odds. Bonner even emailed me afterwards and informed me what after-action items he was going to bring to the judge who presided over the original class action case, ensuring me he was going to use my poor experience with the BBB Arbitration process as grounds for future improvements for claimants in this and other settlements. Bottom line, if you have an issue that brought you here to review Bonner's endorsements, don't hesitate to hire him...he's definitely your Attorney. In my estimation, Scott Learned is a legal God and one heck of a nice man. He has been helping me in very difficult and complex litigation since 2012. Hired Scott for estate and domestic planning for myself and my significant other. We are unmarried but live together and have joint assets that we wanted to protect as well as ensure we have legal power of attorney in case of accident or illness, etc. Scott explained all the options and helped us select the quickest and least expensive route to achieve our goals. He was also very helpful in explaining the pros/cons of wills versus trusts. I would highly recommend anyone looking into estate or domestic planning to give him a call - you can't sort all this stuff out for yourself using online or free legal services!!

Not very happy with my divorce with Melanie who represented me. I asked her not to answer any questions from my ex who would call her wanting something explained regarding issues in the procedure. Any time he called her it racked up my fees. She had no business explaining anything to him as she represented me not him. He did not get an atty and I ended up paying for this. This was a tatic he was using on purpose to get back at me for filing for divorce. She continued to do so regardless of my request which added over $600 more to my atty fees. This was half way thru the divorce and I felt that she did not represent me as the one who hired her and did what she wanted regardless of my request. It still upsets me 3 years later. Be cautious of her integrity and make it clear who she represents and that it's not the other party.
