Ms. Kinds Stewart was hired to file my bankruptcy for me in 2014. It was my intention to reaffirm my home loan. I filled out everything she asked me to and assumed it was settled. A year later I learned that my lender informed her that more information was needed. That was never communicated to me and as a result my bankruptcy was discharged and my home loan was not reaffirmed. This is gross negligence and could have been avoided. I wanted to remain financially accountable to my lender. I wanted to reaffirm. But Ms Kinds Stewart made that an impossible effort with her lack of follow up on my case!!!!

Suggest you find another lawyer. Mr Baylard did file our petition with the court but recused himself and his law firm at 4:58pm the day before the court date. Also, he and his other three associates failed to turn over evidence we provided 5+ months prior even though we paid their law firm to handle it.

I have beef using Mr Fryer for several years now for different cases mostly traffic n such and he has always been amazing! Was a very fair flexible overall good lawyer until closer to 6 months ago when he literally just disappeared! I paid him for him to represent me in a municipal case from 3 years ago! He has been been on the case since day one, he told me the case was dismissed n was waiting for him to inform me of my fine amount so I could pay it and move forward with my life! Didn’t hear from him for a few months so started trying to contact him leaving message after message after message on his office v.m. With no such luck!! Now Patrick has always been a little difficult to get ahold of due to his case load but when I looked up my case on Missouri casenet I see that my case was never dismissed and he has not appeared on my case since last October and I now have an warrant for my arrest due to failing to appear on it!! He is still listed as my attorney on the case there has never been a motion to be removed from the case and still Mr. Fryer is 100% unreachable!! I call his law firm to only get the same recording as I always have with no attempt from him as any response to my numerous messages via vm and text! This is completely a violation of my contract I have with him and tbh absolutely not like him at all! I am worried about him and yet very angry for the unprofessionalism and disrespect I have been shown as of this date!! If anyone else has had this same issue please leave a review as well so we can get some kind of answer to the question if the year “What in the hell has happened to Mr. Patrick Fryer attorney at law!!!??”
PS-I have referred many people to this man threw out the years with no issues ever until now!

They took their part of my back pay for payment once I got approved for disability. They told me not to call social security when I started calling asking about the rest of my back pay. When the lawyers stopped answering my calls and weren't returning messages, I called social security to find out they paid the lawyer double and have been waiting on them to send it back so they could pay me. They haven't sent it back and they blocked my number on their cell phones. I can't believe the people I trusted are trying to take advantage of me and my situation.

I hired Sherri to represent me in a paternity, custody and child support case. She did no work on my case. She went to court unprepared, she agreed to things that she knew I would never agree to, she filed paperwork late. She did not explain what she had or had not done. Not until I hired a new lawyer did I find out that she had agreed to have the garnishment lifted from my son's father, even though he did not pay without being garnished. She was suppossed to rebut the Motion to have the wage assignment lifted, but she agreed to it without asking me or anything, but knowing I would not agree. Then after I fired her and recieved her final bill, she had billed me for all kinds of work she had not done and for meetings we never had, she billed me for going to court on other cases. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN!

This guy was appointed as a special defender on a case I was falsely accused of. I had a video proving my innocence. His hired help did not know what thumb drive was even compatable to the computer they had at the Owensville office. They did not return phone calls. Then when they did they did not tell the truth about filing for a speedy trial when it was requested several times. I found him to be completely useless. And would not recommend him to anyone for any reason. I fired him. After I fired him , he filed to remove his self from my case. Based on the grounds that I wanted a speedy trial against his better judgement.. Innocent people don't want to drag on something they did not do. I feel he wasn't working for me. Or it could have been he wasn't experienced enough to know what to do. Either way, I can't truthfully give him even one star.

Hired this attorney. He took $500.00 upfront to "research" my case. He made a lot of promises. He never followed up., when I contacted him., he sent me a vague email clearly showing he had not done anything in my case! He gave me some generalized info about my case that I had already told him I was aware. He quickly pocketed my money and never did anything about my case!! I called the firm sometime later and found out he had left. He lied and told the firm he had sent me a package of information concerning my case. He never did.

Within 15 months Mr Steele returned 2 phone calls, was available to take a 3 phone calls and had 3 meetings with me. Both my wife and I continuously attempted to communicate with him but he was always busy. Our court paperwork was filed incorrectly, our case was a "Total Loss" (that's his words) and the judge ruled that we pay the other parties lawyer fees and increased child support but Mr. Steele NEVER NOTIFIED us of this and now I find out about it because of a garnishment on my paycheck. My wife and I asked many times but the assistant kept saying you have to ask Mr Steele and Mr. Steele never returned phone calls. We found this attorney to be substandard and will never recommend him to anyone.

He talks doom and gloom about your case to make it seem like he's actually doing something advantageous for you, when in fact his recommendations and work is the absolute worst. I saw three other lawyers after all was said and done with concerning the particular case he handled and they thought I represented myself. All three were absolutely dumb founded I retained the services of a lawyer to settle for the conviction he recommended. Others that I know that retained his services feel the exact same way. I can't urge you enough to stay away from this lawyer. As for the rest of his firm/partners I'm not familiar with them so I can't say.

FIND ANOTHER FIRM!!! I spent just shy of $20k with this firm representing me with an estate/probate matter. Sarah Grossman is ignorant to the laws of Missouri and provided very false information that put me in a position of possible contempt of court. Her advice that was completely inaccurate. Directly from an e-mail she sent me when I questioned the direction we were heading: “ the law is very clear that wills written prior to a divorce are voided post divorce.” This is false! It started the legal process on an inaccurate foundation and was only one of many questionable decisions she made.
Furthermore, when there became too many indications that she was off base with both her understanding and approach, I escalated my concerns to the partners/founders of the firm; Gregory and Zane Williams. I explained that I had paid good money (and well more than what was predicted) for bad information and I was very concerned. Gregory never responded to a single e-mail. Zane defended the nonsense I was getting from Sarah insinuating I should be happy with where things were at b/c if he was representing me, the costs would be nearly twice what I had paid (for bad information and extremely poor positioning in court and far more than their estimate already). Following this exchange, I received another e-mail from Zane saying they were withdrawing their representation and suggested I find new counsel immediately so things don’t get worse. They collected their nearly $20k, provided bad information, risked me being in contempt of court, and then dropped me in the middle of the case.
They forced my hand, didn’t work with me at all, and defended their mistakes. It felt like they took me out to an island, dropped me off there, and said, “good luck, by the way, the tide is coming”. I found new, better representation out of Kansas City. The first things they asked were, “why was it filed as though there wasn’t a will” (which Williams Law Firm was provided a copy of the will) and “do I know why the titles of the different properties were not transferred correctly” and that they’d have to fix all of this in order to proceed correctly, which of course cost more money to correct Williams’ nonsense and I still got lectured from the Judge as he questioned why I signed the document saying there wasn’t a will. I had to plead with him that I was following poor advice from previous counsel. My new lawyer had to defend me with e-mail documentation in order for him to dismiss his consideration for contempt of court.
Wasted money, unnecessary delays, extreme frustrations, poor knowledge base, poor advice, poor leadership, poor conflict resolution, abandonment, unethical practice. These are the words I would choose to describe Williams Law Firm. Maybe they are okay with setting up LLC’s and other simple legal matters but absolutely do not trust something important, like your family’s inheritance, to these “professionals”. I’ve never felt so strongly about wanting to warn others about such an abysmal experience.

This attorney never followed up or informed me with information regarding my child support case. Was very unconcerned, only returned one phone call. Very condescending and rude. I'm still unaware of were I stand with my case and having to do the work myself. He took the money and left me in the dark. I would never recommend this attorney to anyone I know.

This came before the Court as a simple modification of original dissolution judgment. The company of Cordell and Cordell was not instrumental in a possible modification but followed the recommendations of opposing counsel and at no time represented my best interest in any discussions with the Court while overcharging fees for services not rendered. She prolonged all hearings to increase huge fee charges for the benefit of herself and the law firm only. No results were obtained at any point from Cordell and Cordell. She showed up in Court, said nothing except in agreement with opposing counsel, billed me further monies with absolutely NO benefit to my case. She billed me for the receptionist who answered the phone, the bookkeeper who couldn't explain the charges, and to my belief, bogus time spent on my case by the attorneys of Cordell and Cordell. It was a "cut and dry" factual only modification. I HIGHLY recommend NO ONE ever obtain the services of Cordell and Cordell unless you have so much money you just want to watch it disappear!!!! Heed this warning ... nothing good will come from your association with Cordell and Cordell. I finally fired Cordell and Cordell as I realized nothing was to be accomplished by them and my money was quickly disappearing and hired a very competent attorney (yes, they are out there) who brought a respectable, fair, and expedient conclusion to this modification for all parties within a few short months. I hope this review will save someone similar to my situation a whole lot of aggravation, time, and money. This is my personal experience and belief. Find a company that is not money driven only.

Signed contract with Mr Leonard in November 2017 after suffering stroke following cervical disk replacement. Also suffers a scar in my airway which requires hospital procedure to keep my airway open. The surgery was performed by Dr Wilson Ray at Barnes Hospital on January 3, 2017. After waiting 10 months with no news I contacted mr Leonard who stated he had submitted my medical records to two experts for review. He told me on the phone that Dr Ray was negligent causing my stroke by misplaced plate in my neck. He said he was filing the case because the statute of limitations expired January 2019. I was contacted by Mr Leonard’s assistant a month later who requested my MRI from before the surgery. Then on November 6, 2018 I received a letter from Mr Leonard stating that the three EXPERT witnesss he had review my records would not sign my case so he could not file it. Mr Leonard told me to contact another attorney IMMEDIATELY if I wanted to pursue the case. I contacted several other attorneys but was told the time frame was too short for them to work on the case since the statuary if limitations expired this January. Mr Leonard also informed me that his daughter was a physician at Barnes hospital.

Hired him on a case in September, 2018. Claimed he had good relations with the Judge and Jail personnel in the county I needed him for. However, over the past month, 2 hearings later, nothing has been accomplished on the case. He lacked even going to the jail to consult with the defendant, only spent 5 minutes going over court pleas and has not produced what was expected or that he "assured" us he could accomplish right away.

I came to this lawyer with my case a couple yrs ago. From the start, a lawyer will know if they can take the case or not. Once you explain your case, they should tell you then, no I can not take your case. I did everything as a client that I was suppose to do. I'm doing things that he as a lawyer should be doing, 1st red flag. Long story short, this lazy lawyer closed my case with no explanation whatsoever. I WOULD NOT recommend this law firm at all!!!

I am utterly dissatisfied with the service or lack thereof provided by Ms. Louis. I initiated contact and met with her to submit paperwork regarding my case in early May. Since the exchange I have been attempting to contact Ms. Louis. She does not respond to my emails or return my phone calls. I have tried to ask follow up questions and attempted to check the status. She finally emailed me the first week of July stating there was paperwork missing—some of which we completed in her office together. I asked for clarification and got no response. I also attempted to call multiple times. At this point I can confidently say she is screening my calls and ignoring my emails intentionally especially since I got an answer once I called from a different phone number. I do not recommend working with Ms. Louis. The location is convenient and the only pro in this situation.

He does not deserve any stars at all, actually. Unfortunately, that's not an option.
Be very careful if considering hiring Joshua Roberts. He demands money, money, money and does nothing, nothing, nothing. Check out his other reviews online. I gave him $24,000.00 and he did nothing of value in representing me. He eventually withdrew from my case without reason or warning. Shortly thereafter he told me that the $24k retainer was used up. There was absolutely no way. I demanded a refund and he refused, saying "That's the nature of the business." I have hired attorneys before who have done a fantastic job and ripping people off was certainly not the "nature" of their businesses. He actually had the gumption to tell me I needed to pay him more money. Once he withdrew, I scrambled and tried to raise the money to find a legitimate attorney that could actually help me defend my position. I was unable to afford getting a different attorney, had to finish the case by trying desperately to defend myself, and ended up losing my case and getting a massive judgment against me.
This man (if he should even be called one) is no good. He's a liar, cheater, and a thief. He thinks he's superior to the law. Again, he's a liar, cheater, and a thief.

She was the guardian ad litem to my child when she was 4. She never gave my child any of my letters or gifts and worked as my ex husbands second lawyer to destroy my life and the life of my child. We still suffer from her. Hopefully she gets disbarred.

my family had john burns representing them, we had all documents on our side showing that the defendant was totally at fault and somehow nothing has been done. terrible attorney, took a lot of money from my family's deceased mother (estate).case has been on going for 2 years and still has not been resolved.has walked out on us several times in the court room and hung on us over the phone because he didn't want to hear he facts out. doesn't deserve the star that was allowed to give. DONT RECOMMEND HIM AT ALL. HES A MONEY PIT AND AND WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO TAKE YOUR MONEY.
