I have just gone through a challenging time following a traumatizing, tragic auto/motorcycle accident that led to 14 months of legal proceedings, culminating in a trial at Concord District Court in October 2024. I was charged with vehicular assault as a Class A misdemeanor, which could have resultedin a year in jail, significant fines, and more. Ted Lothstein was recommended to me by lawyer friends of my brother who were familiar with his work.
From the very beginning, Ted demonstrated a strong belief in my understanding of the accident. Over the months we worked together, which included a fatality hearing at the DMV, he was consistently responsive to my questions and concerns. His explanations were clear, and he communicated quickly and compassionately. Ted dedicated considerable time to phone calls, often including my brother, to discuss my case and help us navigate the process.
Ted was clear in stating the various possible outcomes and the various timelines I could expect for receiving decisions. He provided honest assessments of the most likely results and outlined his strategy for the trial in case the judge ruled against me.
His preparation for both the DMV hearings and the district court trial was thorough. He shared with me through either, or both, emails and phone conversations, all the communication he was having with the judge, prosecutor, and hearing officer. He was prepared at both the hearing and trial with his arguments and crucial evidence, including videos of the cyclist prior to the accident as well as the accident itself. Additionally, he had maps to help clarify the scene of the accident.
Furthermore, he hired an exceptionally experienced accident reconstructionist and maintained communication both with him and a key witness who had provided dashcam footage. Ted invested significant time in preparing both witnesses for the DMV hearing and the trial. During the trial, I was particularly impressed by his questioning of all witnesses. He was respectful to everyone I felt.
Ultimately, I was found not guilty. I highly recommend Ted for his skills, hard work, responsiveness, professionalism, communication abilities, organization, preparedness, dedication, and compassion.

I had a great experience today with New Hampshire Brazilian Council Services. I was trying to get married and I had an issue with the birth certificate translation and notary. I called 2 different places but none of them could help me right away. I called Bruno and he told me to send him the documents via email, he sent it back to me in less than 30min, I printed it and he met with me and my fiance at the bank so we could notarize it. Was charged with a felony and a misdemeanor. I lost many rights that I once had prior to the charges. I emphasized the importance of getting all my property back and regaining my rights. He handled it as I asked and got me exactly what I wanted as an outcome. It was a long process but largely due to “Covid” and the courts shutting down. He was on top of every aspect. When I I had questions or concerns he answered back immediately. I would hire him in a second in the event I need to in the future ( I have no intention of needing to). Can’t say enough good things about him. I even got a refund check at the end for remaining funds not used!!!

Eric got me out of a DUI about 5 years ago. I refused the breath test, so they had no accurate level of alcohol intake. (That’s your right as a NH citizen). He got me wreckless driving, which is a speeding fine essentially and I paid $500 to the court. AMAZING LAWYER!!!!

I was charged with a dui and defective equipment. I refused the FST and blood test which comes with an automatic 180 day license suspension. I had a video of the encounter with the Hudson police. Eric helped me win my ALS hearing and keep my license. He then was able to get the prosecutor to drop the dui and I plead guilty to the defective equipment and paid a fine. I will recommend Eric to anyone that is in trouble. I hope I never need him again but if I do I know I'm in good hands.

My experience with Attorney Connolly was very one sided. She ran me approximately 10,000 in debt. She told me that this. "Your case shouldnt take to long, you were only married for a year". We lost every battle in court. Told me to pay for a plane ticket about 1,300 dollars to see my children. I never saw my children. She doesn't fight for you in court. I can't explain enough. I had to fire her.
To me I believe she was in kahoots with the opposing counsel.
No I do not recommend her.

I was arrested for a DUI, Disobeyeing a police officer and later charged with unlawful passing of a school bus, criminal threatening, and disorderly conduct. Mr. Bush got the DUI down to a reckless op violation, and only 1 misdemeanor.

As a MA resident being charged with a DUI in NH, it was important to me that I found an attorney who I could trust and who was familiar with the local law and NH courts. After several days of research and reading reviews, I booked an appointment with Andrew. Andrew and Renee (his paralegal) were both extremely knowledgeable about the entire process and the paces I was about to go through. They listened attentively to the details of my case and believed in me right away. I had been wrongly charged but Andrew was very candid, on what the law is, what would apply and what would not and promised me he would do everything he could (under law) to investigate the evidence on my behalf. Andrew Cotrupi saved my life. While that might sound overstated, it is 100% true. I was maliciously charged with a Class B Felony by a local police department for a crime I did not commit. I originally hired a different lawyer and after several months of working with that firm I was faced with the stark reality that the system was not working as I always imagined it would and that I could very well be going to jail for a long time. My former attorney was looking to just negotiate a deal but I couldn't stomach taking a plea deal when I did not commit a crime. Desperate, I sought the advice of a trusted friend who turned me on to Attorney Cotrupi. From our very first meeting, Attorney Cotrupi and his Paralegal Renee treated me like a human being and not a criminal which was a welcome change after the treatment I had been receiving. Andrew listened. He REALLY listened to me and he talked me off the ledge. I hired him on the spot. Over the course of the year he worked diligently and fought for me like I was part of his own family. He worked tirelessly on my behalf, filing motions, counter motions and defending me vigorously. As my trial date approached, he met with me as often as I needed to prepare me. He was the perfect combination of tough love, sound advice and compassion. My trial lasted for three days if you include jury selection. I was terrified and in uncharted waters but Andrew guided me through. Sometimes he would have to lean over and tell me to relax because I was looking like a lunatic. Other times he would put a reassuring hand on my shoulder. His opening statement was brilliant. His cross-examinations exposed the "rehearsed lies and stories" and his closing statement captivated the jury. In the end, the jury deliberated for a mere 20 minutes before returning a "Not Guilty" verdict. 20 minutes! After a year of having my world thrown upside down and having a prosecution trying to make me into something I was not, Andrew was able to dismantle the case and gave me my life back. He was truly a God-send for my family and I. Because of his work, I will be able to go back to raising my four young children. Andrew is not only an amazing lawyer, he is an honest, fair and good man. I will forever be indebted to him and would recommend him to anyone.

I hurt my knee on the job in 2016. The workers comp insurance company agreed that the knee was injured on the job and paid for PT and a meniscus operation. I was still in pain after the operation and insisted on another MRI. It was determined that I would need a total knee replacement operation. The insurance company told me "you don't need a lawyer" , then their lawyer sent me a notice that I needed to go to an Independent Medical Examination. That's when I found Doug on the internet. Long story less long, he took my case and won unanimous decisions with four mediators at two different hearings at the Department of Labor. I got my knee replaced after 2+ years from the initial accident and Doug was amazing. Highly recommend his services. I would not have prevailed without him.

I highly recommend Attorney Skinner. He worked with me on my case to stop foreclosure and he did a wonderful job. He knows the law and is very compassionate towards his clients. I'm so glad I found Attorney Arnold. It was just an online search and sometimes you get lucky. Patrick is responsive, patient, and thorough. He explains issues and any legal implications in as much (or little) detail as one requires. I have a tenant problem (lack of rent payments, refusal to leave) that is still ongoing. At our first court hearing, Patrick got them to sign and honor an agreement to start paying immediately and to leave by a certain date. I'm happy to report that they DID make payments and they DID vacate the premises. I would not have been able to accomplish this on my own. If you are reading this review because you are considering Patrick Arnold as your choice for legal representation I strongly recommend that you hire him and read this review. I was facing a possible 5 to 7 year prison sentence. To be honest things were looking pretty bleak. The County Attorney's Office was looking to play hardball but Patrick never even broke a sweat. The entire time Patrick remained upbeat and professional and looked at every single angle of the case. As for the outcome thanks to Patrick's diligence and leaving no stone unturned the DA's office went from offering me three years in prison with five years of probation as their initial plea offer to dismissing the charges entirely. There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that if I had tried to represent myself or I didn't have Patrick's considerable attention to detail and no-nonsense approach to getting things done I would be sitting in a prison cell right now.
