After my SSI application was denied I entered a contract with Bross & Frankel spanning over a year. Since I couldn't work and Cape May County Social Services claimed they were unable to house a disabled person who is assisted by a service dog, I was homeless for 7 months before finally receiving my voucher. Much of my property was damaged beyond repair or stolen by other homeless people, and my health declined so rapidly and drastically that I recently broke multiple ribs and damaged a vertebrae by falling onto my BED. Cooper Hospital in CMCH refused to write a prescription for lidocaine cream covered by Medicaid or any other pain medicine aside from a patch with adhesive when I'm allergic to adhesive and chart mentions this since almost a year and a half ago. In so much agony I tried to protect my ribs on the right side, which didn't inflate when breathing as my video shows, but hurt all the same. Since I was curving toward the right to minimize pain for around a month, my spine began to curve in both the lumbar and thoracic regions. Unable to lay down without agonizing pain that left me screaming until I passed out from exhaustion (which sometimes took over 7 hours) I developed herniation of the spinal disc. I have degenerative disc disease and decreasing bone density among other ailments. My health insurance literally put me into the care management program and we are already looking at the possibility of assisted living in the not-so-distant future. Jennifer was going to be my attorney but I was informed by her paralegal that they refuse to help me earmark medical expenses and replacement have food stamps or resources into my funds from SSI backpayment, despite NJ law permitting them to do so. Iris wanted me to request DHS waive all backpayment contract responsibilities but I am fine with paying them after I set aside my medical expenses and replacement of resources and/or if a future lump sum becomes available even though I signed under duress as a homeless person told I couldn't receive food stamps or general assistance or a voucher unless I agreed to give them a return on their investment. I have never been so shocked as I am right now. Bross & Frankel - callous cruelty when you need them most. 1/5 stars

Mr Donahue is a stand up guy.He legitimately helped me in a situation where things could have went very bad due to a horrific relationship that I got myself into.Mr Donahue not only shut every false accusation down but he also aided in me walking away with only the false charges being shown as dismissed… I am pleased with Mr Donahue.

Mr. Donahue was very conscientious and worked extremely hard to reach the goals we set out to achieve. He always made sure to return calls and make himself available. He has a very good grasp of the law and explained it to me in great detail. He was very straight and upfront about everything- he did not sugar coat anything and he made sure that I knew exactly what I was getting into. He succeeded in achieving the desired outcome for my case and he was always polite and respectful- to me, the judge, and the opposing party. He paid great attention to detail and nothing slid by him when we were creating an important document. I am forever grateful to him for all he did for me and my family!

This law firm was a complete disaster. I had a horrible experience with them and strongly advise against using their services. They are the epitome of incompetence.
The partner I worked with, Karl Norgaard, came across as intelligent and personable, but his actions did not match his words. He assigned my case to the most incompetent attorney I have ever encountered, Milica Fatovich.
Milica refused to listen to my suggestions, thinking she was always right, and when it turned out I was correct, she tried to take credit for it. She spent more time talking and repeating obvious things than actually working on my case. Essentially, she was just a paper pusher, forwarding emails from the opposing attorneys without checking the content or providing creative ideas to help or advocate for my case.
The firm completely mishandled my case, forcing me to agree to terms I didn't want. They promised to get me what was agreed upon, but in the end, nothing was true. They claimed ignorance and refused to correct the issues or demand the other side adhere to the agreed terms. They only seemed to care about ensuring they got paid their exorbitant fees directly from the settlement.

Karl provided excellent legal representation in protecting me from a very difficult and aggressive tenant who would not vacate my home at the end of the lease, and even had the audacity to sue me for not renewing the lease, when it was within my legal rights.
This whole ordeal, along with the bullying from my tenant and the huge fear of navigating in the unfamiliar legal process and court systems, was mentally, emotionally and physically difficult. Karl provided a sense of peace, and perfectly handled the case and all subsequent matters with competence, sympathy and understanding. His whole team were also amazing with direct, efficient communication.

Michael's appeal saved my medical malpractice case by winning the main claim in my case. Thank you, Michael !
Michael's expertise and commitment made this happen. Michael has been supportive and always available through this process. He is trustworthy, altruistic, and down to earth. I must add Michael's lack of greed and willingness to work with his clients on the financial part of the appeal was another reason it was possible for me to go forward with the appeal.
After having a malpractice attorney with 40 years of experience that was able to significantly hurt my case was devastating to me. No one should have to go through that.
Michael was able to put the pieces of my case together and convince the Appellate Court that the lower court erred on a decision, which really hurt my case.
If I didn't have Michael to do my appeal, I'm not sure where I would be today in terms of my case. I can now proceed with confidence that my case will be settled or won.
Michael is the best ! He's in it to win it. I can't say it enough times, I am so grateful and thankful for Michael and his firm.

I was at a point in a medical malpractice case where a judgment summary left me deciding, do I go forward with an appeal or not. The original attorney who represented me no longer wanted to remain on my case. I knew my case had merit to it, so I decided to pursue an Appeals Attorney. I called Hegge and Confusione and spoke to Michael Confusione. I immediately had a good feeling about him. He listened to me, he was non-judgmental, and spoke to me in a down to earth manner. My appeal was done by the time promised and I couldn't believe how accurate it was. It tells the story of my case exactly how it happened. Karl and Cassandra were great in helping us deal with our mortgage modification loan. When the lender fouled up and both sent and signed back the wrong paperwork then later claimed that the contract was invalid, threatening a foreclosure, Cassandra was instrumental to getting the lender to understand their faults, was able to stop the foreclosure process and get us back into the modified loan.
During this process there were quick on replying to any of our questions and dealt with the lender quickly and effectively.
