I highly recommend Denise Ready if you are looking to victimize and terminate the other parent's timesharing but don't have the evidence to make it happen and need to maintain your appearance as the "better" parent. Frivolous issues are no concern because of her ability to manufacture evidence turning the other parent into the perpetual safety concern that will ensure issues are consolidated or bifurcated to the point that who even knows what the issue really is. Misled and deceived is her mantra and your salvation. She is extremely effective at leveraging pleadings through persuasive verbiage and emotionally charged allegations that are as numerous as the stars and equally impenetrable yet alone discoverable. Be prepared to fund an Ex Parte Restraining Order followed by a custody evaluation, but know your investment is well made. Denise Ready will zealously represent a steaming pile of crap if it can afford a retainer, so you can be reassured that your violations will be as well concealed as her misconduct is tolerated without being inferred. She is experienced in abusing temporary orders to maximize your benefit in excess of the oral rulings and without fear of appeal, like in Cepelak v Gibson. Simply put, Denise will help you instigate the chaos that ensures your manipulation thrives through monetized litigation where it's pay to play, and you just have to wear down the other parent emotionally and financially until your psychosis becomes their reality. Don't worry about being restrained by a DVOP, she will ensure it gets delayed and consolidated then bifurcated into oblivion giving you valuable time to undermine it. She will even work late to guide you through violations while manipulating law enforcement on your behalf. Acting under legal guidance is a strong defense, and Denise serves it up hot and fresh. Don't fret if the other parent identifies her misconduct in a Response to Presentment, she can simply make her Motion for Presentment disappear from the court record! She is not a magician, but she can make the other parent disappear from evidentiary Hearings by getting them arrested. You can be sure she'll join in your laughter and that of your close friends invited to witness the pleasurable spectacle. This can be especially satisfying if the other parent somehow accumulates and submits years of evidence demonstrating the frequent, adverse temporary orders based on discretion reliant on her hostile testimony were less than honest or even erroneous. Denise is somewhat less experienced in discovery because you can't obtain evidence that doesn't exist. Yet. Speaking of testimony, she will even act in the dual role of an witness to provide detailed, personal knowledge as to how awful the other parent is without the annoyance of cross-examination. You can trust that pesky pro se parent will never get their chance to be fairly heard. While I cannot say that Denise is a good attorney, ethically speaking, and her middle name may be Evil, her genuine love for argument is the sadism to your abuse and it will make for an insurmountable barrier. Retain her now to ensure your case gets heard before she gets disbarred.

Mr. Smith and the employment law attorneys in albuquerque new mexico successfully represented me in a 2 year whistleblower against my government agency employer. He reviewed my case initially and knew that we can win this, and he's right. https://thebennettlawgroup.com/employment-lawyers-albuquerque/ also helped me and the team listened to my story, picked out the relevant issues, developed necessary action plan, and gave me the strength to keep fighting for my right. I really indebted to them for saving my job for myself and of course my family. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Brianna goes above and beyond! She is a upfront and honest person. She will break down everything for you and she takes her time to ensure you understand the process and odds before you move forward. Shes caring and compassionate! You will never have to question her loyalty. She worked hard to get the resolution my son and I needed. You won't find a better lawyer than Brianna Feerer-Huss! When I hired her I didn't hire just an attorney; I gained family and an amazing friend in the process.

This is Dr.Roy.I had an opportunity to be in the court of the then Hon’ble Judge Baca on my licensure case(2001).I have yet to see or find an open minded brilliant legal scholar like Judge Theodore C. Baca. In my opinion, If there is any fairness still remaining in the field of law in New Mexico, that’s because of men like Judge Baca in the horizon of south western sky. We pray for his well being under the shadows of the great Almighty.

Mr. Dixon is a great colleague to have in the legal profession. I had been doting around the case law to best determine how to make a complex challenge to a local agency in Federal Court, and discovered Mr. Dixon had a history of successfully challenging unconstitutional restrictions on attorney visits to clients in pretrial custody. I called Mr. Dixon and was able to speak with him the same day, and his staff was very calm and professional. Mr. Dixon helped bend my learning curve so that I was able to raise a constitutional challenge for my clients through the federal system much faster and timelier than I would have otherwise and saved me hours of research. I look forward to crediting him with my clients’ rights being returned without unconstitutional limits imposed by a local government agency.

I was charged with something I absolutely did not do, so I set out looking for a good attorney to see this thing dismissed. Greg Gaudette was that attorney for me. He was very responsive to my questions and concerns, charged me less than half of what other Valencia Co attorneys wanted, and had my case dismissed just like he said he would. He’s a serious, no nonsense guy but he will care about the case and getting you justice. I hope I never need to hire an attorney again but if I do it will be Greg Gaudette. I would highly reccomend him.

Mr Kolber is a great attorney whether he is ur public defender or u pay him, he goes above and beyond for his clients. He was my public defender for a short time and although he wasn't appointed to help me anymore, he made it possible for me to be able to start a new life in Tennessee. The details aren't important. My point is I owe my life to this man for single handedly saving me from a the path of doom I was on.

I am very happy that I hired Jennifer Yoder. In order to negotiate the best outcome, she wasted no time gathering all the facts to my case. She fought for a better settlement than even I believed possible. Also, as divorces are a lengthy process, she kept me updated through it all. I definitely recommend this lawyer! She is outstanding!

My boyfriend had a DUI case which Tatiana handled easily for us and is now working on an immigration petition with us. She is very passionate at what she does, and although many people think she has a bad attitude, I love that about her because she needs that to face the judges and win cases. She is very energetic and gets things done in time. She even works hand in hand with our criminal lawyer, (whom she recommended and we are also very pleased) to get this case out of the courts and I have a lot of hope that it will have a positive outcome. Her fees are reasonable and she is always responsive. We live in different cities, and with hectic schedules, the only ways we communicate is through phone or e-mail, but she is getting things done. She is very trustworthy and tells you things straight forward and I like that. I would absolutely recommend Tatiana for your immigration matters.

Having a son who suffers from bipolar & alcoholism, caught within the system of jail & more jail, Atty Assed, with his unique talents, legal ability, warmth, patience, and class, along with a phenomenal staff of like minded & hardworking people, patiently walked us thru a nightmarish time to a wonderful outcome. This was a very complex legal case, all hands on deck, and Atty Assed and his team, went beyond our expectations. I cannot stress enough how his whole team truly cares. Extremely grateful to this one talented Atty, his knowledgeable team, the warmth they all showed as they held my hand while helping my son. I would recommend no other!

Top Questions to Ask a Lawyer

When meeting with a lawyer for the first time, it's important to ask the right questions to understand their expertise and determine if they're the right fit for your legal needs. Here are some top questions to consider:

  1. What experience do you have with cases similar to mine?
Ensure the lawyer has relevant experience in the specific area of law pertaining to your case.
  2. How do you charge for your services, and what are the estimated costs?
Understand the fee structure, including hourly rates, flat fees, retainer fees, and any additional expenses.
  3. What potential outcomes can I expect from my case?
While no lawyer can guarantee results, they can provide an assessment of possible scenarios based on their experience.
  4. What is your approach to handling cases like mine?
Learn about their strategy, whether they prefer negotiation, mediation, or litigation.
  5. Who will be working on my case?
Find out if the lawyer will handle your case personally or delegate tasks to other attorneys or paralegals.
  6. How will you communicate with me throughout the process?
Establish expectations for updates, preferred communication methods, and response times.
  7. What is the likely timeline for resolving my case?
Get an estimate of how long the process may take from start to finish.
  8. Do you have references from past clients?
Testimonials or references can provide insight into the lawyer's professionalism and effectiveness.
  9. What are the strengths and weaknesses of my case?
Understanding potential challenges helps you prepare and sets realistic expectations.
  10. Are there alternative ways to solve my legal problem?
Discuss options like mediation, arbitration, or settlement to resolve the issue efficiently.

How to Check the Credibility of a Lawyer

Before hiring a lawyer, it's crucial to verify their credibility and ensure they're qualified to handle your case:

  1. Verify Their License:
Check with your state's bar association to confirm the lawyer is licensed and in good standing.
  2. Experience and Specialization:
Ensure the lawyer specializes in the area of law relevant to your case.
  3. Disciplinary Record:
Look up any history of disciplinary actions or complaints through the state bar association.
  4. Client Reviews and Testimonials:
Read reviews on legal directories like Avvo, Martindale-Hubbell, or Google to gauge client satisfaction.
  5. Professional Memberships:
Membership in professional organizations or specialty bar associations can indicate a commitment to their field.
  6. Awards and Recognitions:
Honors from reputable organizations reflect expertise and a positive reputation.
  7. Consultation Assessment:
Use the initial consultation to evaluate their communication skills, responsiveness, and willingness to address your concerns.
  8. Ask for References:
A credible lawyer should be willing to provide references from past clients.

What Should I Prepare for My First Consultation?

To make the most of your initial meeting with a lawyer, come prepared with:

  1. Relevant Documents:
Bring all documents related to your case, such as contracts, correspondence, legal notices, court papers, or evidence.
  2. Written Summary:
Prepare a concise written summary of your situation, including key dates, events, and involved parties.
  3. List of Questions:
Write down any questions you have about your case, the legal process, or the lawyer's experience.
  4. Financial Information:
If applicable, bring financial documents like pay stubs, tax returns, or bank statements.
  5. Contact Information:
Provide details of any witnesses or other parties relevant to your case.
  6. Personal Identification:
Bring a valid ID for verification purposes.
  7. Pen and Notebook:
Take notes during the consultation to remember important points.
  8. Budget Constraints:
Be ready to discuss your budget and any financial limitations.

How Much Does a Lawyer Cost?

The cost of hiring a lawyer varies widely based on several factors:

  • Fee Structures:
    • Hourly Rate:
Lawyers may charge anywhere from $150 to $500 or more per hour, depending on experience and location.
    • Flat Fee:
For routine legal services like drafting a will or handling an uncontested divorce, lawyers might offer a flat fee.
    • Retainer Fee:
An upfront payment against which the lawyer bills hourly fees.
    • Contingency Fee:
Common in personal injury cases; the lawyer receives a percentage (typically 25% to 40%) of any settlement or award.
    • Monthly Retainer:
For ongoing services, businesses might pay a monthly fee for a set number of hours or services.
  • Factors Affecting Cost:
    • Complexity of the Case:
More complex cases require more time and resources, increasing costs.
    • Lawyer's Experience:
Highly experienced lawyers may charge higher fees.
    • Geographic Location:
Legal fees can vary significantly by region or city.
    • Additional Expenses:
Court filing fees, expert witness fees, travel expenses, and administrative costs may be extra.
  • Estimating Total Costs:
Request a detailed fee agreement outlining all potential costs.
Discuss any additional expenses that may arise during the case.
  • Negotiating Fees:
Some lawyers may be willing to negotiate fees or offer payment plans, especially for clients with financial constraints.
  • Pro Bono Services:
For those who cannot afford legal services, some lawyers or legal aid organizations offer services at reduced rates or for free.
