Mike was incredibly prompt and attentive when he did my consult; I felt definitely heard out when explaining my situation and having to make some hard choices for my family, however Mike gave amazing advice to help guide me to a solution. Although it was only a consult, I plan to move forward and hire him for anything regarding family law. I had hired another attroney to review some documents but I was not satisfied. I reached out to a friend who found Ray Sterling for me through an attorney website. From the beginning I was very satisfued with the experience. Ray's paralegal Dawn Estes was very professional and did a great job recording all of my information so that Ray was fully prepared for our discussion. He provided great insight into my situation and provided me with the pros/cons of our approach. In the end were were able to reach an agreement with the other party that was very satisfactory for me.

Having tax obligations and liens can be extremely stressful and emotionally exhausting. Alan was understanding and very supportive. He answered all of my many questions and was very responsive and knowledgeable. It took more time than anyone would like, but in the end he reduced my moderate 6 figure bill to just $l5K. As a small business owner, I had the misfortune of having to deal with the State of Michigan's Unemployment Insurance Administration over a ridiculous issue caused entirely by their incompetence. I was first introduced to Mr. Tafelski years ago as my court appointed attorney. For anyone who doesn't know, a court appointed arrangment is not profitable for the lawyer at all, his fee couldn't have even covered his fuel expenses. It was basically pro bono. Anyway, I was facing a felony possession conviction and did not even have the money to bail myself out. Paul took my case all the way. He brought me a suit to wear to court so I did not have to wear jail "clothes". Paul not only tracked down a witness for my defense, he drove 30 miles one way just to remind the witness of the court date and make sure he would show up. When we went to jury trial Paul was a straight up stud. This guy is money in the courtroom! It was awesome. It was like watching a movie. I couldn't believe it. The bottom line is, Paul won the case for me and I was found 'not guilty'! Haha,Then Paul told me to keep the suit. The absolute best part was the look on the prosecutors face when the verdict was read. It was certainly different than the menacing sneer that she continuously shot my way throughout the entire case. The look on the face of the police officer who testified against me wasn't bad either.
My life has since turned around dramtically for the better and I have hired Paul for everything from my divorce to restoring my license. Someone at Paul's firm is reachable at all times and I have never felt better represented. I have never once felt rushed and people I know are amazed at how much time Paul always spends during consultations.
I will never need any other attorney for as long as Paul practices law and I would recommend him to anyone who needs help.
If your looking to hire an attorney who actually cares and shines in a court of law, Paul Tafelski is your man!

My case was quite unique in a sense that it was over a decade old. I had a previous lawyer and also represented myself to the Secretary of State without any good results, year after year. Long story short, Paul was able to clear me from the mess I had created in my underage days as I had moved from the state of Michigan and reside now in California. He was very professional and knowledgable with the little information he had on me long distance and handled my case very well. All in all he got me out of my bind and cleared my record. I recommend him for any OWI or DUI case you have.

I hired Chloe for a DUI incident that happened in June of this year. From that day she has kept me updated with the entire situation, kept me calm (which is very hard to do), stayed positive, and above all was a friend through the entire process. I was convicted of a white-collar crime and charged with a felony. Mr. Fanego has a thorough knowledge of criminal law and was determined to defend my case. I first met Kirk through a client. She was getting help revising an existing trust. I found his advice very practical, and was fairly priced. He was recommending what was best for her. So I had lunch with Kirk to learn more about him.
Since then he's helped a number of my clients, and has done some work personally for my family.
Kirk has been an excellent resource. When I come across an interesting estate problem Kirk has always been there, willing to lend professional guidance.
As a Financial Advisor, one of the risks in recommending others is that they might do something wrong. Financially there is no direct upside for me, but there could be significant client relationship downside if the other professional makes mistakes or treats my client poorly.
If all goes well however, then the bonds I have with clients are strengthened. They know I’m going beyond my job and making sure their estate is in order. Without any knowledge of Cronin I was led to this lawfirm from a a bit of Intel where I ended up on the phone with a firm more local, but the team there couldn't help me. That same firm suggested I called Cronin and though most of the phone calls between the team and I were loud because of my work, I was surprised that notes were taken well and I didn't have to repeat any information on further calls and conversations. Next to custody issues, is there a hotter topic than vaccines/medical between two parents that are divorced and do not see eye to eye on said topic?? What I really appreciated is that Samantha may not share my same concerns about vaccines, but she guided me objectively and accurately through my possible options and described how she could be of assistance to help us draft an agreement. My ex is a very difficult and duplicitous person to deal with. As a very loving and involved parent herself, I know family law has to be challenging. On the flip side of this, I know this makes Samantha a passionate (and tenacious) advocate for her clients. About 4 years ago my wife had made the call to ABC law centers after researching various attorneys. We had actually been give an attorney’s phone number from a friend which we called. He talked to me for about two minutes and had no interest in trying to help. He wanted us to ask the doctors what happened to our son and then get back with him.
Jesse Reiter was FAR more concerned with trying to help us find out what had caused Matthew’s condition. He and his team took over an hour talking with my wife over the phone gathering information and then sent out the necessary paperwork so they could start looking into what had happened to Matthew. Since we had twin boys, Matthew and Andrew, they assured us that this was their specialty and they would get us answers.
The process then began with more paperwork and meetings as well as creating a video documentary for the care and condition of our son Matthew. All of this was done very professionally and within our hectic schedule. At no time did we ever feel like we were being pressured and everyone was very sympathetic to our needs.
Jesse Reiter and Rebecca Walsh worked very hard for us in this 4 year process. Jesse Reiter even commented on this being one of his longest cases that he has handled, but at no time did they waiver from the end goal of finding out what had caused Matthew’s condition.
Jesse and Rebecca did an AWESOME job of being sympathetic, patient, understanding and caring in their handling of our son’s case. Because of their hard work and persistence we are now assured of Matthew’s future care. This is a HUGE weight off of our minds because, as many parents, we were concerned of Matthew’s future for when we would no longer be around.

Many years ago I went through an extremely difficult time in life; I interviewed and even worked with several attorneys because of my complex situation. Once I hired Mark, everything shifted to my favor. I was not "off the hook" and still faced consequences. However, Mark worked in my best interest in a fully professional and compassionate capacity. My cheating ex was attempting to file a bogus PPO against me for revenge, as well as initiating a criminal investigation against me for 2 felonies which each carried up to a 5 year sentence and a $2000 fine.
Mark was instrumental in getting the PPO, which was already scheduled for a hearing, dropped and dismissed by the plaintiff. He was also able to work with the investigating police detective in getting the felony investigations dropped by the plaintiff as well.
If you want to win, I would highly recommend Mark for any criminal matter.

Mark represented me on some very serious charges, in a very difficult case. I had been a "model citizen" for my entire life, and now in my 40's I was wrongfully accused and overcharged by the prosecutor. Mark provided an aggressive defense, as well as an honest real life look into the realities of my situation. He worked well in reaching an "acceptable" outcome on the case.

Yesterday I talked to her about my daughters case who Is a domestic violence victim. I was really impressed that most lawyers can't give you enough time to listen to your issues but our telephone conversation went very long and she listened about the problems my daughter is facing very patiently and guided me. My brother-in-law and I wanted to buyout our siblings from the family business and we didn’t want to use the family’s lawyer because we thought he favored our siblings. My accountant recommended Don. I sometimes need a lawyer to review the engagement contracts and term and conditions required by our clients, especially ones with crazy tax provisions that are out of state. The small business incubator at Oakland University referred me to Mr. Katz last year because apparently he is an advisor there. Since then, he has reviewed four or five engagements and drafted the terms of services for our website. More than once he has kept us out of trouble with some practical business and legal advice. He quickly turned around the contracts that I sent him. I mostly like the fixed price plan, it really fit my budget.

I've never been personally involved with a legal case and was very hesitant to trust and believe a lawyer could help my situation. I retained Ms. Jones as my attorney in 2009, and she has been nothing but consistently excellent in every aspect of our relationship ever since. When I came to her, I needed help fighting a long term disability case against my employer who happens to be a rather well known and powerful corporation. Ms. Jones made me feel comfortable and safe from our very first meeting. After having been put through the wringer considerably for some time dealing with the issue on my own, I was mentally exhausted, emotionally defeated, and entirely convinced that I couldn't trust anyone. I brought Jami a disability case ... My disability insurance carrier suddenly decided I was OK and could go back to work and simply stopped paying after 7 years! In Michigan TWO appeals within the insurance company itself are required before you can dispute the company's actions in court. I thought about trying to handle the appeal(s) myself (I'm a former media pro with heavy writing experience and pretty much an expert researcher). In the end, I brought the issue to another attorney who had helped my wife get her SSD benefits, who in turn referred me to Jami. After meeting her and discussing my case, I decided that the issue was far too complex to risk trying to fix without professional help. One of the best decisions I ever made!
