After several years of family dispute regarding inheritance/split ownership of my grandparent’s real estate, I hired Mrs. Shaughnessy to help me with my legal advice and partitioning real estate needs. Even though I live out of state, Mara and staff was always responsive and professional when I reached out for status updates. We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

We had an issue pop up the last minute. I called Craig and that night he came to the house. I felt more prepared when he was with me.
Getting through the situation is first and foremost, but money is a part of it. He went above and beyond for my family without charging us as much as he could. And that was just nice. He never took advantage. He was there when we needed him.

I have been a client of Mr. Curry's and known him for over 30 years. He is not only the best attorney I have ever used but his firm has specialists in every area of law. They literally are a one stop shop of any legal issue you may have.
As for his qualifications they are far greater than he shows on his website. He has given so much back to the community. He is consistently involved in philanthropy, local events and one of the best in the community at giving back! Mr. Curry is able to do these things because of the trust of his community and the results of his team!
When Mr. Curry says to “know your rights” he does know them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law. Keeps himself up to date on new laws and I can assure you that he has the biggest heart of any man. I just would not want to be opposing counsel sitting across the conference table or in a trial. I was so happy to have found Jeffrey Dowd when I did last year. You simply can't realize how RIGHT everything that Laurie does until you've been to a lawyer who's done it all wrong. I came to Laurie to assemble a new estate plan after a change in my life. By leaps and bounds, I was so impressed by her passion for what she does, and more especially, her command of the subject matter in which she clearly demonstrates her expertise. I found out that the previous general practice lawyer who put together my older estate plan was a bona fide idiot, who gave me reams of incorrect advice. The detail in which Laurie delves in order to make sure you clearly understand what you're signing, as well as checking your grasp of the documents shows that she truly wants to make sure she's also educating her clients. She's an empowering person to have in my corner to guide me through important life decisions. I can't recommend her enough.

I am a New Yorker who was appointed executor in my sister's will... she was a Tampa resident. Needless to say, this responsibility was made even more difficult due to the distance involved. Knowing nothing about the Tampa area, I selected Ms. Ohall to assist with probate based upon a friend's recommendation... and I couldn't be more pleased.

Emma Hemness did estate planning for me and set up a special needs trust for my son. I found her to be kind, compassionate, intelligent and professional. There is much to be considered when leaving behind a child (at whatever age) who can't take care of himself. I have been blessed to have this young man in my life. Ms. Hemness thought of everything. She helped me to create a trust including a special needs trust and put together a living will. She helped me to consider end of life choices and create a power of attorney. The power of attorney will allow a family member an easy transition to administer my estate and help my son at my passing. She did all this while insuring my son would not be deprived of the social safety net that is helping him now. I am more than grateful to her for making something very difficult like this possible. I rest easier knowing I have done the best I can to protect my son.

Kristi was referred to me by a good friend when I was searching for the first step on what to do so that my husband could legally adopt my oldest son. My husband had been his Daddy for over 10 years and it seemed only natural to make it official. I asked questions and Kristi answered thoroughly. I cannot express my appreciation for all she did for us. As we are not from this state, we do not have family here, so when I asked her if there was any way we could get started on the paperwork when I could arrange for family to be in town as witnesses, she did not hesitate to accommodate my request. On a Saturday morning, on her day off, she met me and a whole big bunch of strangers at her office for the signing. Kristi was also very patient with us when we ran in to a few hiccups along the way. Those hiccups almost put everything on hold for us, but she was kind and generous to our family and even pushed for an emergency final hearing when my husband received orders to deploy at the last minute.
We are forever in debt to her kindness and professionalism, and aside from what she may think, we can never forget her.

I really can't say enough good things about Bob and his staff. He was the first lawyer that actually spoke with me over the phone to answer some of my questions, this is practically unheard of in this day and age, and based on this conversation I choose to hire him. I feel very fortunate to have found an attorney that I feel is trust worthy, honest, fair and has my back. My husband and I created a life together. Two perfect kids, a lovely house, and one dog. When he told me he wanted a divorce my life was turned upside down, until I turned to Mr. Griffin. He’s professional, extremely knowledgeable and instantly I knew my life had been turned right side up. When I contacted Courtney I was a wreck! She came up with a plan and executed it AMAZINGLY! Courtney will never promise you a win but let me tell you she will fight with every ounce in her to defend you and your rights! My case was a complicated one..it was a matter of a family member wanting to take custody of just my daughter. To make things even more difficult the opposing parties kept amending things and moving it to different court rooms to set the date out even further. If you are looking for a straight forward lawyer that will fight for your best interest within the limits of the law, she is the one for you. I am a down to earth reasonable person, but life happens and I found myself needing a divorce attorney. Courtney came recommended by another attorney. From the moment I meet with her I knew she was my kind of lawyer. Up front, willing to listen but advise within the laws even if not in your favor. I am a let me know type of person there is no grey area for me and she left none. Once she took my case she was always only a call or email away. When in doubt any questions or concerns I had were addressed by her even if not by opposing council. Never a minute of my long over drawn divorce did I feel I was not getting the best defense. I was able to sleep at night knowing that I was in capable hands and that me and my children would get what was right in the eyes of the law and no more. I went through a hard time with a serious addiction that caused me to do things I would never have done if sober, things that could have cost me things I worked hard for (college degree, career, family). Ellis represented me and was there thru the entire process. Before my arrest, during my time in jail, and after my release while fighting my case. He communicated with my family while I was incarcerated and was never hard to get ahold of to get updates or info. If he couldn’t answer a call he made sure to call back soon. He has great relationships with Judges and State Attorneys throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County (as I had charges in both counties) and was able to keep me out of prison and get me help instead (even though I scored out for almost 7 - yes, SEVEN years in prison! I can’t say enough good things about Ellis. Thanks to him I was able to get help, return to my family and young daughter a happy, healthy person with a job I love and recently bought my first house. I sincerely believe I wouldn’t be here today without Ellis’s help. Ellis has defended both myself, and my Son against serious Criminal Charges with excellent results.
I have suggested him to defend other people I know against Domestic Violence alegations, as well as DUI charges.
All were very pleased with the excellent criminal defense provided by him.
His fees are reasonable for the quality of Legal Representation he provides.

Ryan Reed is a diamond in the rough. I bet he won't be for long. He took all of my worry upon himself, and did so until we got what we deserved. I have been a client for over 5 years. Wendy is amazing. She walks you through the entire process and looks out for the best interest of your children.
