Kari MacDonald is a super hero of sorts. She swooped in and saved the day as she navigated us through a contested divorce. She made what seemed impossible happen-our case was settled outside of court. I was certain I'd never see a dime of child support and wanted to hold my ex acccountable, while being able to stay in the marital home with our children. I contacted Attorney Cipriano regarding a case against me by a creditor that was suing me in which I disputed its accuracy. Attorney Cipriano listened to my side and accepted my case right away. I hired Richard to help me with a credit card case that was from a junk debt buyer, and within one day he had the entire case thrown out. We have used Hemness Faller a couple of times throughout the years and they have always provided excellent results for us.
Hemness Faller was recommended to us by a friend who had been in similar situations with an aging parent. Danielle provided a plan to help us take care of my dad’s physical and financial needs.
Also as parents we needed to make sure our children would be looked after by family if anything happened to us.
Our children are now grown and out on their own so we returned to Hemness Faller to update all of our legal papers. We asked a lot of questions and they took the time to answer and advise us about each document.
It can be a stressful process but we had a lot of laughs with Danielle as we worked through the details of updating our wills, trusts & poa’s.
I would recommend Hemness Faller to anyone needing legal help for an aging parent and anyone who needs reassurance that their kids will be taken care if something goes wrong.

Absolutely incredible experience with this firm. From the first moment I spoke to the receptionist to the final day of wrapping everything up, they brought ease and care to the entire process. I felt like I was part of the family and they cared for me beyond measure. It was about so much more than the actual litigation…they went above and beyond the call of duty and handled something that wasn’t even part of my case. One Friday night when time was of the essence, I was given someone’s cell number so that I could reach out over the weekend. On top of everything else, my insurance wouldn’t agree to finish fixing my car, and Mike and Alan took care of it all. Here I am calling from a playground crying and they reassured me that my kids would be in a safe car soon…this isn’t even something that they have to handle but they did. It was like calling my brother to help me out.
They took a really awful life experience and brought so much comfort throughout the process. Their level of expertise in their field was incredible…while I mostly worked with Mike, every single person was at one point involved. Mike Finegan represented me through two car accidents that occurred, where the cases overlapped each other. In 2019 I was left with permanent injuries, and a totaled vehicle. Mr. Finegan and his team helped me through every step of the process. Funds for a vehicle were recovered expeditiously. Unfortunately, this was at a time where I was just starting trade school which is full time hours, while working a job. It greatly affected my ability to work in two physically demanding environments. Fast forward, I had to move back to my hometown due to Covid-19, and his team made sure I was able to receive care as everything re-opened. Due to the nature of trade school, when you miss hours/make up hours this can accrue an additional expense. Upon graduating he helped me navigate this with school admin, and I was able to work out an exemption. As this case was coming to a close I was in another car accident. Once again, a totaled vehicle, and worsening symptoms, this time at the start of my career. Mike was very realistic with what to expect since this was a 2nd accident. Navigating 2 car accidents and treatment for pain (especially in your early 20’s) is not for the faint of heart, but Mike and his team truly put my mind at ease. They answered every question I had, were thorough about every step of the process, and made sure I was confident with every decision I had to make. I felt that I received the care you would get if you were a family member. The last 5 years of my life were incredibly challenging, but I am beyond thankful for the care I received working with Mike and his team. I have been a client of Mr. Curry's and known him for over 30 years. He is not only the best attorney I have ever used but his firm has specialists in every area of law. They literally are a one stop shop of any legal issue you may have.
As for his qualifications they are far greater than he shows on his website. He has given so much back to the community. He is consistently involved in philanthropy, local events and one of the best in the community at giving back! Mr. Curry is able to do these things because of the trust of his community and the results of his team!
When Mr. Curry says to “know your rights” he does know them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law. Keeps himself up to date on new laws and I can assure you that he has the biggest heart of any man. I just would not want to be opposing counsel sitting across the conference table or in a trial. Ryan Reed is a diamond in the rough. I bet he won't be for long. He took all of my worry upon himself, and did so until we got what we deserved. Extremely overpriced! Attorney Lambert did not communicate with us, she did not return emails, did not have our best interest in mind and she kept us in the dark completely, not a good feeling while mourning my father’s passing. She grossly mismanaged my fathers estate at our expense. She walked away with 4X’$ what other probate lawyers would have charged. She did not have the beneficiaries best interest in mind, only the PRs. BIG huge mess and she just kept on charging $$$$$! She did not have the skills required to do a probate and she should have told us that! Run do not walk away from this attorney unless family and money do not matter to you. She ruined family relationships and made out quite well from my fathers estate. I could go on and on…and I have proof of everything!!! For a probate case that should have cost a max of $4000 (according to other Attorneys that I’m happy to recommend) she walked away with over $15,000! Plus, she mismanaged my fathers inventory!$$! Probate 101. Very, very upsetting experience that I would not wish on anyone.

We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

At the start of the year in 2020 and during the start of the scare of COVID19, I had the added burden of defending a divorce petition. After contacting Attorney O’Connor, I felt I was in good hands.

You simply can't realize how RIGHT everything that Laurie does until you've been to a lawyer who's done it all wrong. I came to Laurie to assemble a new estate plan after a change in my life. By leaps and bounds, I was so impressed by her passion for what she does, and more especially, her command of the subject matter in which she clearly demonstrates her expertise. Kristi was referred to me by a good friend when I was searching for the first step on what to do so that my husband could legally adopt my oldest son. My husband had been his Daddy for over 10 years and it seemed only natural to make it official. I asked questions and Kristi answered thoroughly. I cannot express my appreciation for all she did for us. As we are not from this state, we do not have family here, so when I asked her if there was any way we could get started on the paperwork when I could arrange for family to be in town as witnesses, she did not hesitate to accommodate my request. On a Saturday morning, on her day off, she met me and a whole big bunch of strangers at her office for the signing. Kristi was also very patient with us when we ran in to a few hiccups along the way. Those hiccups almost put everything on hold for us, but she was kind and generous to our family and even pushed for an emergency final hearing when my husband received orders to deploy at the last minute.

I really can't say enough good things about Bob and his staff. If you are looking for a straight forward lawyer that will fight for your best interest within the limits of the law, she is the one for you. I am a down to earth reasonable person, but life happens and I found myself needing a divorce attorney. Courtney came recommended by another attorney. From the moment I meet with her I knew she was my kind of lawyer. Up front, willing to listen but advise within the laws even if not in your favor. I am a let me know type of person there is no grey area for me and she left none. Once she took my case she was always only a call or email away. I went through a hard time with a serious addiction that caused me to do things I would never have done if sober, things that could have cost me things I worked hard for (college degree, career, family). Ellis represented me and was there thru the entire process. Before my arrest, during my time in jail, and after my release while fighting my case. He communicated with my family while I was incarcerated and was never hard to get ahold of to get updates or info. If he couldn’t answer a call he made sure to call back soon. He has great relationships with Judges and State Attorneys throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County (as I had charges in both counties) and was able to keep me out of prison and get me help instead (even though I scored out for almost 7 - yes, SEVEN years in prison! Ellis has defended both myself, and my Son against serious Criminal Charges with excellent results.
I have suggested him to defend other people I know against Domestic Violence alegations, as well as DUI charges.
