We hired Mr Vaknin to represent us on a BK case in 2014. He was there every step of the way with us. Not only did he manage our case but also gave us great advice on how to recover our credit worthiness after the discharge. I was able to raise my score to 814 over time!!
Recently we discovered an old lean on our property that should have been released. One call to Mr. Vaknin and he took care of everything.

I was in a very difficult situation where I purchased a house during the pandemic that was tenant occupied. The tenants barred me from conducting a professional inspection prior to purchase due to Covid concerns as one tenant was elderly. Against my better judgment, I purchased the house without a professional inspection and had to wait over a year after purchasing for the tenants to “feel comfortable enough” to allow an inspection. Had my insurance company not requested it, I don’t think they would have allowed it at all. Upon inspection, we discovered very extensive damage caused by negligence on the tenants part. Half of the kitchen was required to be demolished all the way down to the crawl space. After completing the work, I hired an attorney to represent me in an eviction on the basis of waste caused to the property. This attorney mishandled my case in every way imaginable. From being impossible to get ahold of, missing court deadlines, misplacing evidence, rejections of filings due to simple clerical errors, filing paperwork under my name for other cases, etc. I became so overwhelmed and ill with stress that I searched for a new attorney to substitute. I consulted with about 15 lawyers total and Tiffany Travillion was by far the best. She took on my case even though it was going to be difficult based on the errors and negligence in filings from my previous counsel. Not only was she thorough and promptly up to speed on everything, she was incredibly easy to get ahold of and really went the extra mile when she took the time to assure me, an anxious emotional mess, that she would not mishandle my case like my previous attorney. I finally had peace of mind and that meant the world. She kept me informed in real time on the status of my case and filings. She was easy to talk to and I finally felt like someone had my back. Her staff are very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We worked on this case for nearly a year and in the end, she won my case and got my house back. I was months away from having to cut my losses and sell my house at a huge loss. I can’t thank Tiffany and her team enough. I don’t know where I would be without them.

Ms. Tulekyan took on my case in July of 2023. At the time, I was a lifer who'd been incarcerated for 16 1/2 years. I was cynical of defense lawyers in general based on first hand experiences and second hand accounts, and naturally was skeptical of putting my trust in them. I researched a long time before I finally settled with Steven Oakley. He was very professional and had a great presentation and made us so comfortable from the beginning. We trust our estate planning with him and would recommend others to do the same. It takes 3 meetings to get your estate planning done. The first is a free initial meeting where he explains what he does and the pricing options. Then if you do decide to go with him then during the second meeting you provide all your information for your estate planning. You get a DPOA , an advance directive, beneficiaries if you or your spouse dies all set up and more. Then during the third meeting he hands you your estate planning folder with everything in it along with a CD copy and he goes through everything with you. You also receive an Emergency Medical Information Card you can keep in your wallet if ever you get hospitalized. He answered all our questions and everything that I wanted on my checklist for estate planning was marked off because of him. There is a yearly annual review that you must pay for but it is worth it because you need to keep your estate planning updated or else some things might become invalid. The price is on the higher end but you definitely pay what you get for and I wouldn't want to pay cheap when it comes to my family and estate planning. Like he said to us during his presentation, think of it as an investment into your future for you and your loved ones.

I saw Gena after a negative experience with another lawyer who overcharged me, convinced me, with insufficient explanation, to draw up a trust that was not practical for me, and then shunted me off to his lackeys. So I was on high alert when I first met with Gena. But what a pleasant surprise! Gena is knowledgable and will spend a full two hours or more with you on your first visit to learn about your situation and your needs, and to answer whatever question you have. If you propose alternative viewpoints, she considers them thoughtfully and points out your options. She does all the follow-up meetings and discussions herself, and she has innovative and creative ideas. Plus, she is just a nice, interesting, and thoughtful person! We had a difficult Custody issue that E. Scott Clarke and the firm helped us with. He actually made himself available to our whole family and really was responsive. Several times we called his cell phone late at night and he answered and walked us through our issues. We got good orders now and some peace for my Daughter and my grandaugher.
