Richard Drake is the epitome of unprofessional. He was unresponsive to multiple discovery requests. He was non-compliant with orders. He never shared the requested information with me therefore I suffered in court. Without my own testimony on the stand, I would have lost my case. I have used him in the past (10 years ago) and he was much better. I’m not sure if the age is getting to him and he’s slowly lacking but he shouldn’t be practicing law anymore. I wouldn’t have my enemy hire him.

Anthony Rich does very well with communicating with his clients. I didn’t feel rushed talking with him and he patiently answered all the questions we had. This was all before we even paid for his services! Once he was paid he immediately visited our family member, while they were in jail, so he could get the ball rolling. This family member said Anthony Rich was very professional, and definitely knew what he was doing in that court room. Folks, he was a big part of saving our family that day! I met with Todd Kotler to assist me with obtaining a Letter of Authority for the estate of my deceased spouse. I had explained what I needed by phone, prior to this meeting, and he said he could help with that. He was late and unprepared for our meeting, without apology. When he learned there were basically no personal assets to report, and I just needed the LOA to get the medical records of my deceased spouse, he asked if I was planning to file a wrongful death action. I explained I was having a medical lawyer review the records at this point. He then had a cryptic conversation with his paralegal about fees, then insisted that he would have to open and close probate, and coordinate that with the other attorney. He advised me to list $100,000 as personal assets for my deceased spouse, which is completely false, in anticipation of a lawsuit award that may not ever happen. He then claimed he would be entitled to 4% of any potential settlement for which he would have had no part in litigating. I ended the meeting at that point and consulted another estate attorney. He was shocked that Mr. Kotler would take advantage of someone in a tragic situation. He said there was a very simple way for me to obtain the medical records without unnecessarily opening probate, and explained exactly what to do, at no charge. How unethical and desperate do you have to be to exploit someone who is grieving? In my opinion, Todd Kotler is a very small, arrogant, unethical man, out to line his own pockets. this man took my money then sold me out in court 1 went to court didn't call the morning of or night before to prep me 2 i get a call saying I'm late from court I get there everyone is there my lawyer pulls my in the hallway after we already discussed going to trail tells me I'm nobody and Hes not taking a case to trial he will lose but I didn't do it honestly. then puts his hand on my shoulder after he broke me down walks me ion the court room says let me fix this with the bailiff standing behind me causing panic and fear making take a plea after i take the plea .the judge still sends me to jail for 3 days idk for being late to make sure I don't talk I'm not sure it worked for years but that time is up I did three days in jail for misconduct in the court room .I stood there crying not sure what I did lol .now i have to study how to file for ineffective counsel ..my advice do your best to find someone that cars about you and make sure he meets with you after taking your money and its not just at the court room

He “Helped” in My OVI Case barley. Won’t answer or return my calls to give me my legal evidence I’m owed. I’m filing a lawsuit for my case as well just not with him as a lawyer since he made me plea to no contest without consulting with me first I paid him 2500$ up front and he didn’t even try to take my case to trial and the judge made me server days in jail with 3 years probabtion and 5 years license suspension. With 1,200$ court fines and also for the coup de gras 3 years for interlock in my car if I pay 650$ plus whatever in reinstatement fees like. Can someone explain to me what did I pay him for?
Just know I am no threat but my family is hurt by the systems judgement over petty cases takings serious chargers while the real offenders are overlooked. All I’m saying my case should’ve been fought for instead of treated like another number to file on your taxes.

Upon reviewing dozens of attorneys and seeing her length of same job performance and her accomplishments , I had to speak with her to find that special tone and command of respect that should be present when, wanting someone with strong confidence but still polite and professional. I needed to know she would stand her ground without apologizing for it, for instance. During a conversation with MS. Houston, I noticed our signal from my phone or hers had gone out for a few seconds and while speaking to her I accidentally spoke while being spoke to but she did not notice the failed signal and when I heard it come back she said, and I quote " Mr. xxxxx I cannot let you know what you ask, if you keep talking over me, so please listen to what I am saying to you" end quote. Now that tells me that she will not take any disrespect and commands it with firm acknowledgment and that is what I feel is needed in a court of law to win a case. Of course intelligence goes with that and I believe she has that. I know she will take command in court and will be feared by other lawyers with intimidation. I did not mention the problem with the phone signal because she proved to me that she is what my wife and I were looking for to ensure our confidence in her that, our Grand-Daughter will have the best possible chance of a better life and at 11 months old (as of this letter) her safety and well being are a great concern to my wife and I. My daughter has openly admitted she can't raise her for a few years or more and the father is mentally unfit due to he was born with problems, but her safety is in question and I know MS. Houston can make the case. She really does let you know where you stand and is very clear as long as you have given her all she asks of you and the truth is open. I do believe she is a very smart woman who can look you in the eyes and not guess her answers. I feel she will go in to the court and be more prepared than the other attorney and run over anyone if needed with the ability to do so. There are not many people I will let me feel as though, I am under their thumb but she has done that in a good positive way, that ensures me I will get, the best intelligent professional to stand up for my Grand-Daughter.

Divorce is a painful process. What a client wants is straight talk and no sugar-coating and beating-around-the-bush. You'll get that here. There are times she's hard to reach because she might be in trial or working with another client, but didn't I like having her full attention when she was in meetings, negotiations, or in court with me? My experience makes it laughable to me that someone would accuse Denise of not giving her full attention their case. This was not my experience at all nor anyone else I've met that has worked with her.

The attorney that took my case talked a good story but could not accomplish much without an expensive law suit. Then without the courtesy of at least letting me know, handed my case over to a freshly graduated attorney. I had to prod this attorney to make any moves and had to ask for any updates. I had to pay upfront for a law suit. The attorney extended every courtesy and kindness to the person I was opposing, while I was billed for it all. I even had to call and ask for the remainder of my retainer. This attorney was done but failed to notify accounting. I do not recommend.

They may be good lawyers I’m not sure, but I will tell to that they will order over 100 dollars worth of food and have the audacity to leave a 3 dollar tip for the delivery person. I’m not sure how empathetic or professional they can be if they can only afford to tip that much. Seems kind of pathetic that an entire office can’t even afford to tip 5% yet can run an entire agency. Pitiful.

Not a very good attorney, felt as if I did more work then him. I felt overcharged for many of the services rendered, which failed to produce real results. I felt as if the attorney just wanted to make money not provide a real defense. Ended up releasing him prior to trial and settled it on my own because he was no good. I do not recommend him for a divorce lawyer. Stay away!

My experience with this law firm was a profound disappointment. I was initially quoted $1,000 for an NDA and MSA, only to receive a final bill of $3,500—a 250% surprise increase without any prior discussion.
Communication was non-existent throughout the 2.5 month process, which only resulted in two generic documents that ignored all my specific requests. The lack of professionalism was striking; the final documents were so basic, they were indistinguishable from online templates.
Given the unreasonable delays, inflated costs, and disregard for client needs, I advise seeking legal services elsewhere. This firm does not respect its clients' time, money, or business.

Me Reese represented me in my divorce My ex-wife's retirement was never taken into account when the division of assets was written up. When the order came out splitting my retirement 50/50 I spoke with Jason. He agreed there was an error and was going to look into it . I have a ex neighbor voted in office works at newspaper now that husband went to court whom narc abused him relentlessly. Pregnant deliberately for cash. This atty got to court with him knowing another atty friends with soon to be ex wife. The day of court she looked at him said you wanna see your child you better pay me $10,000 more? She done a similar thing to another friend since they were abused unable to pay they never saw their kids due to favoring the abuser and outright perjured herself for helping winning that case. That court will even use therapists they have illegal bond with to help fix the problem.

Had Holly for my parent’s case a few years ago. I was 14 at the time and completely able to choose on my own. Her tone was anything but compassionate and would threaten me with choosing a parent on her own if I didn’t speak with her. While I understand this, I was an emotional teenager going through something traumatic and she did not try to comfort me once in this process. Did not listen to my brother and I in the slightest when it came to what we want, and ultimately gave custody to the parent that we did not want chosen. She purely cares about getting paid and does not care about the children she deals with. Awful. Please do not choose this woman for any case you may have.
