I wanted to have some changes made to my will and I texted my attorney in Indiana. I advise them that I had moved to Florida, and he advised me to talk to an attorney here immediately because Florida law is significantly different regarding wills and trusts. So I checked around and found Nielsen law. Just warning you if you want this attorney to do work for you, you better call and make an appointment as soon as you can. She is excellent and created a revocable trust for me. I believe that her pricing is reasonable and I can assure you that she is exceptionally thorough. Her administrative assistant, Gail, is exceptionally organized, cordial and most of all helpful. If you select Nielsen law you will be exceptionally happy with the result regardless of what your needs are.

In my opinion, Mr. Youngner is a very sharp attorney and advocate. He communicates clearly (and is available). After reviewing my case, Mr. Youngner found more than two additional points of noncompliance by the offending department in my appeal for correction.
Mr. Youngner and his team kept me informed of the status of my case at regular intervals. He sets reasonable expectations and meets them.
Dealing with a large and impersonal bureaucracy, a person needs an advocate as effective as Mr. Youngner. I highly recommend Mr. Youngner.

Not what I expected. With the recent passing of my father, i sought out a local attorney to begin the probate process. On a recommendation, I contacted this office and was passed to Sanchez for handling the probate. We met and discussed Dad's estate to include owning two houses, one here in Florida and another one in a different state. I filled out an inventory sheet showing Dad didn't have many assets but those two homes. Sanchez presented two alternatives for probate that I should consider. I chose the "Summary" route since Dad's estate was small. Alvarez said okay and NEVER mentioned that I should go with the "Formal" route. Then when it came time to transfer the deed for the out-of-state house, they charged me another $560 for necessary documents that should have been included in the original probate which I had already paid. Alvarez stated if i had gone with the "Formal" i wouldn't have incurred these additional fees.......then why didn't he say so in the beginning? He responded to my question by telling me he recommended the 'Formal' which is not true---if so, why would I have not followed the "expert" recommendation? Needless to say, when it came time to transfer title for the house in Florida, I sought out another law firm which went very well! Another attorney suggests I notify the Florida Bar of this unprofessional service.....we'll see.....

Forget your preconceived notions about attorneys!
I must admit going in, I thought they might be more concerned about getting a case and getting their fee than they were in making me whole again. This was the warning from so many others that had traveled this road before me.
Wrong…
I was a victim of an under insured motorist- damage to my car and injury to my back.
From the first time I met Mark, he was understanding, empathetic, and thorough in explaining the process that we would need to go through to get compensation for the mounting expenses.
He was straightforward and although I was reluctant to get surgery at first, trying all the other methods to get pain relief, Mark stayed with me asking if there was anything that he could do to help as a friend.
Mark and Domenic were able to get me just compensation for the accident all without having to go to court!
Having someone, who understands the process, knows what can be achieved and is willing to go to bat for you, not just settle, best describes Mark and Domenic.
Although I hope to never need their services again, I would not hesitate asking them to represent me or my family and friends.

I had three very bad experiences with previous lawyers. I did a lot of research before I called Sam. Key to me calling him was the content of the other reviews found here. As it turns out I didn't actually retain his services--in large part due to the fact that he was honest and forthright enough to explain that his area of comfort and expertise was actually not what I needed. He spoke to me for a significant amount of time over the phone while extremely ill. He called a peer to refer me to and actually called me back with that information just like he said he would. Even though I didn't actually hire him I would highly recommend him. He was extremely personal, respectful, compassionate and H.O.N.E.S.T. And as a complete laginappe--he's from Mississippi. My In-laws needed to sell their FL condo. Initially we thought it would be a private sell but the buyers fell through.
Juan is also in Real Estate and we hired him. Throughout the listing Juan kept me in the loop since my father-in-law is up in years and mother-in-law was terminal. At least every 3 weeks he would call or e-mail me just so we knew what the status of the listing was.
We didn't have a great amount of time to clean out the condo and he was kind enough to put the final touches and was there every step of the way from offer to closing.
Even when the inspection found issues, Juan found contractors that were far less expensive than what the buyer's realtor wanted to hire.
There is so much more but you get the idea. Dad plan on giving Juan's contact information to all his friends in Florida when they ask for a realtor or lawyer.

I was arrested in Lee County and facing life in prison for a crime I did not commit! My life was instantly shattered and in a few short hours everything that I have ever worked for was taken from me! I hired a large law firm in Ft. Myers to represent me only to have them write me off as a plea bargain. After several months of terrible representation, I then sought new counsel. Living across the country, I zoomed multiple firms in the southwest Florida area. All of which but one gave me the same run around story. Attorney Foley is the only consultation that did not tell me what I wanted to hear, but instead told me what I needed to hear, “The Truth”! He provided me with the blunt facts and possible outcomes of my horrific case. Attorney Foley’s transparency was unmatched and I instantly retained him to represent me in the fight of my life to prove my innocence.

I was accused of felony misconduct on two occasions and summoned to court for a hearing. Had to buy suitable clothing as, being 74 and long retired, I did not own even a jacket and tie, much less socks. Attorney Desiree Wilson was waiting at the door when I walked into the courthouse at 8:30 AM. She stayed right by my side, and told me exactly what would happen, until we were called before the judge at 9:45. Leaving me at the back, she then went forward and negotiated a deal that gave me all I wanted and gave the other side nothing they truly wanted. It was over by 10:15 and I had never said a thing. When we parted ways outside the courthouse, my last words to her were, "Raise your rates."

I'm thankful for them they took my case when no one else would.
I had been on ssdi and last year ssdi cut me off after spending months going back and forth asking me to submit updated info. In the end they cut me off saying they didn't get any updated info from my Dr's. I asked my Dr and was told ssdi never requested anything from them. So I got on the phone called about a dozen law offices. The other said they o ly delta with initially getting it then I found this offce explained everything to a clerk who said they felt i had a good case but have to verify with their lawyer and would call me back. A few minutes later he was back with me getting all the details. They filed the appeal for me and did the contact with the ssdi department even kept my insurance why I was going through the process. No mind you I did have to pay for it but in the end I got the funds from them back when they gave me my ssdi back. At 60 years oul and unable to work and being 100% disabled veteran if they hadn't helped i figure i probably wouldn't have got it back this quickly if at all. They do tell you upfront that it could take about a year and a half or more so I'm pleasantly surprised that from the time I contacted them in June last year because my June payment was going to be ly last but ofcorse I didn't think about the fact you get June payment in July. So from July till first week of February . I'm very impressed.
The staff was always friendly. I never had to go into their office I did everything through phone, mail and email.
The only reason for a 4 was I still had to fill out all the paperwork for ssdi myself. When I initially got it the place that was helping me even did the paperwork for me. So that's kind of what I expected. I'm not great with filling out paperwork lol
If I contacted them they were always prompt with a response.
If I ever have a reason for a lawyer office again and it's something they handle they will have my business.
It was a pleasure.

My experience with Avard , Micheal Sexton, my attorney is more than disappointing. I am well aware of the process for disability claims for I represented myself for 2 years. After being denied, I was referred to them. The lack of communication is unacceptable. I was a client for over 3 years. I wasn’t made aware of all of my responsibilities to obtain medical records until the last 3 months before my trial. A lot of the information they had in my file was completely incorrect. My age at the time was incorrect. They had no clue I was a widow of 9 years, which also falls into other disability categories. My medical conditions were stated incorrect. I was also sent to a Physician that stated my conditions incorrect. Had I had been informed to gather all of my medical and mental health records prior to 3 months of my trial, I would have done so. A major car accident lead to some of my disabilities. Those records were destroyed because it had been 10 years, 2 months prior to my trial. I am unable to support myself due to multiple conditions. The back and forth of Disability and SSI has left me with nothing. I will never recommend this Law firm and will definitely let everyone know how insufficient they are with their communication. How they do not even see you as a person till deadline and then have it all wrong! One of my statements from the Judge quotes ”client claims to have Hyper Mobility disorder due to a vehicle accident in 2014.” That is the most ridiculous statement I have ever heard of. My Hyper Mobility issue is a birth defect. It has nothing to do with the accident, nor the titanium that has rebuilt my shattered right foot, or my spine and neck issues. What a load of crap!! I am now left pocket change and a very small amount to live on. This is absurd and I will tell Everyone how ridiculous this law firm is. I am not the first to be disappointed and I surely won’t be the last. I hope they enjoy taking money from the people who actually need it! Good Riddance!!!!

Wasted state resources making recommendations that would cause my business to lose money, total waste of time, had zero prudence.
Another "law school" paper mill pretender. Lawyer is bringing healing using the law - that is the essence of a doctorate of prudence. This guy is low emotional IQ and offers kindergarten answers.
Truly bizarre. I feel less secure knowing his advice is considered prudence. People have "hated" me but I made money and gave good advice as a lawyer - just oppose corruption.
These are the kinds of lawyer who serve no valuable purpose - literally just a runt on a hog. But perhaps he's grow up.
Keep the Ten Commandments is a good start at least as to the honesty portion. As to prudence, he's around that of a 7 year old - literally recommending a path to a $15/hour wage over and above open markets values of $40-400/hour - while the State was asking for more than he recommended I go work for.
That's who literally stupid the guy is. He had a duty to tell me the best plan as he saw it to "catch up" on back - inflated child support - which was obtained by fraud. He's so stupid he thought saying, "go work at McDonalds" was legal advice - in his ego mistaking an attempted roasting of a single dad with what was legal advice - or perhaps he literally is just that useless.
May be why he's on the state system as no friend or family who know him respect him enough to hire him. As for me - I am a Vet with Honorable Discharged - and certified as a Genius in the records. Over 100 cases to jury or judge - with zero actual loses.
So naw. Dude is a joke. Go sell cars or insurance.

My only regret is that I did not meet Chris and his team sooner. After my divorce was finalized, I began working with Chris to modify the judgement (unfortunately he was not my original divorce lawyer). He was very forthright and knowledgeable and provided excellent advice throughout the proceedings. He also took an aggressive stance when my ex tried to sue for her attorney’s fees. He won the case despite the fact that the judge clearly favored my ex. He won it by diligently researching case law and aggressively presenting our case, all the while being professional. I frankly can’t recommend him enough. I sincerely hope I’m never in need of an attorney again but if I am, Chris will be my first call. Again, I can not recommend him and his team enough!

This attorney works for the public defenders office in fort myers florida. He is well versed in all aspects of criminal law and even though he has a high case load he is very astue and well read. I personally hope that he goes into private practice as this guy is a work horse who gives the state/govt no safe quater in defending his client i am grateful i have such a champion in my corner going to trial.
