This attorney is very sharp, informed, and prompt on replying via email or phone. My wife and I are parents to a special needs child. We have a long history of partnering with the administrators in the school district and the special education teachers at the school. Despite this an inexperienced teacher, with little knowledge of the history, filed a DCFS report on us over a story our child told. Although the school district and the experienced teachers supported my wife and I, as required by law, we would have to go through a full DCFS investigation. A friend with knowledge of the DCFS pointed us in the direction of Marie Taraska, whom we hired after an initial consultation. Maire walked us through the entire DCFS process and was there for us from start to finish. Marie’s knowledge of the DCFS law and her experience working in the system not only gave confidence that our case would be resolved positively but also reaffirmed our belief in ourselves as parents. With Marie’s help our case was unfounded in short order. If you find yourself in our situation and facing a DCFS investigation, I highly recommend Marie Taraska. Do not have a friend who happens to be lawyer represent you and do not hire someone who doesn’t specialize in DCFS law. The DCFS is its own entity with its own rules and only a lawyer who knows this system like Marie can work fast and effectively to clear your name and put the matter behind you.

Last April I worked for a school district in the south suburbs and was assigned as a monitor for a special needs child. To no fault of her own, the child was combative and had a flight response and would stop at nothing to get out of her seat belts while the bus was moving. While trying to keep her in her safety restraints, I was falsely accused of slapping the child. Naturally, I was terrified and felt helpless. I hired Marie to represent me through the criminal investigation. She was outstanding in her handling of the situation. Her instincts as a former prosecutor helped her to understand the minds of the people who were trying to form a case against me. She used her former experience to guide me every step of the way. After 4 long months I have been 100% exhonerated from any wrong doing. I can not say enough how much Marie's expertise got me through this nightmare.

In the course of a recent custody dispute, false accusations of emotional abuse to my son were made against me to DFCS. Marie Taraska is an outstanding and professional attorney who not only defended me at trial, but investigated the matter to find evidence to prove my innocence. Marie did an outstanding job questioning and cross examining the witnesses to show the information which was used to indicate me was false. Marie proved in court that the individual who called the hotline was dishonest. Marie won my case. Not only was my indication expunged but so was my character! First of all I want to thank God for guide me to immigration attorney Christine Contreras, getting the right attorney is not an easy task as you may know, specially when there are so many. Rima takes the time to understand the details of your case and has an in-depth understanding of higher-education law. After an initial discussion of the problem I was relieved to find out that Rima concentrated her practice on representing faculty Rather than institutions. She was excellent at responding to attempts by university lawyers to bully and intimidate me, and in making sure that they respond to the concerns I raised. In the end, the settlemnet Rima negotiated for me was over twice the amount that the university originally offered.

My experience/journey with Courtney Kelledes has been a pleasant and knowledgeable one. I contacted her for help with a years long ongoing situation which had been taken upon by other lawyers with no resolve. After explaining my situations and concerns she informed me that she would contact me after reviewing my info with her partners. I was contacted back shortly where she told me, while she could not make guarantees she and her partners did find merit in my cause, requests and ultimately my goal. From there Courtney laid out a precise step by step strategy with options for said steps. After that it was blast off as she went to work on my behave legally while thoroughly explaining steps, goals, expectations and timelines. She always kept an open ear to my concerns being that I had not had the best if not down right bad experience dealing with the various organizations in past attempts. Courtney always heard my voice and broke down said concerns with answers that I could understand as it applied to the law and my situation. Referred by a friend to Donald Shapiro, the firm took on my case. Mathew Bassinger was assigned the case. Early we had some road blocks, and Mathew made some changes to keep the suit alive. I've never been involved in a lawsuit, but he made things very easy to deal with. This malpractice suit involved a death, the care Mathew took helped us move through the process. In the end despite some obstacles Mathew secured a settlement me and my family are content with.

Robert was recommended to me by a friend, and my past experience with lawyers was not great, to say the least. I had always seen them (in injury circumstances) as someone who has the tools and vocabulary but essentially acts as a middle man that just takes most of what you are due. Not SO with Bob. After hiring, he was very upfront with me about the circumstances and scenarios that my motorcycle accident & claim would lead to, and he helped me every step of the way. By the grace of God, and his professional team we reached a result that was beyond satisfactory. After a horrific accident I didn't know where to turn. A friend recommended Sheldon Aberman, and I owe her a huge thank you. "Shelly" took care of everything, not one thing left to us as my daughter healed. He got us the BEST results possible, not real close, not almost, I mean the BEST result possible given the circumstances. Would I recommend this lawyer? I'd do commercials and testimonials if asked!
