We dealt with many attorneys in the past when it came to reinstating my drivers license, none were more honest and more aggressive than Attorney Small's. He took a situation where I myself did not feel confident in reestablishing my drivers license and through hard work and perseverance got my license back in under 20 days from start to finish, the funny part is the majority of that was purely paperwork with the court system. He is also VERY affordable, which is important to young adults like me, a lot of the attorneys I looked into before would not touch my case for anything less than a thousand dollars. We went from start to finish well under 400 dollars minus my personal court fines. He knocked off 4 months on my daunting 12 month sentenced, now because of him and him only, I will be able to go to school this coming summer and continue my education. I highly recommend Attorney Small's. I will be passing him along any friends/family/acquaintances that have any trouble with traffic cases. You best believe that I also will keep him as my personal traffic attorney. Also, a cool thing about Attorney Small's is he treated me like a human being, 15 minutes before court even started, we were in the back of the court room, making jokes, and talking about sports. After a long battle with the state with no progress, I retained Brian and he took me through the whole process with care and professionalism. As an attorney his advice was accurate and to the point. He let me know exactly what was needed to be done and why I was suppose to take his advice. Some time back I was pulled into a case involving a former employer, a federal grand jury, and allegations of bribing a state senator. Prosecutors wanted a sworn statement from me, and I was completely lost and overwhelmed. Fortunately, a good friend recommended Daniel Kessler and to this day I’m thankful they did. Mr. Kessler took on the case, explaining everything clearly without talking down to me. He negotiated with the prosecutors, handled their requests for files, and made certain that I wasn’t going to get dragged down for my old boss’ actions. I don’t know what I would have done without him. I do know it wouldn’t have been good. It’s a rare lawyer who can hold their own against the Feds but also doesn’t have an ego the size of Texas. Mr. Kessler is professional when he needs to be yet still casual enough to feel like I’m talking to a real person, one who actually cares about my situation even after the check clears.

I would highly recommend Hall Adams. My supporting reasons are as follows:
- He is thorough, on the ball, hardworking, communicative (rare with many attorneys), means what he says and more importantly does what he says.
- He is experienced, personable and began work on my case right out of the gate. He had accomplished more in 4 weeks than several other firms who wasted my time by sitting on my case with almost losing my window of opportunity.

He gets paid by a percentage of the recovery. So, he if he takes your case you can expect to win. In my case, the rotten insurance company initially rejected our claims but Mr. Adams was able to secure a huge settlement after litigating for 6 months.
On a friends claim he ended up having to go to trial and won a big verdict.

Joseph Dooley helped me research and develop a malpractice case to help with a simultaneous court case where the issue was caused by said medical malpractice. He is insightful, deep-thinking, caring and provided excellent legal counsel for me in a complex case. There were times when he advised me to proceed in a certain direction and times when he advised refraining from legal action to protect me financially, even when it would be less lucrative for him. In 2009 I was charged with a drug case and had another lawyer to represent me. After the first court date he wanted me to plead guilty to probation, but I didn't want the conviction because I'm still a student in college. I then hired Mr. Hronek to replace my previous lawyer, and he went in and filed a motion to dismiss and won it. My case was thrown out and I didn't have to get a conviction on my record or take probation. Mr. Hronek really fought for my case and I'm sure that if I hadn't called him I would probably still be on probation today.

Mr. Ahmed is very good attorney, he handled a case for me where a shipping company damaged an iron fence at my property with their truck. When I was personally speaking with the company they did not want to pay for the full cost of the repairs for the fence. Once I contacted Mr. Ahmed he was able to get the company to repair for the full amount for the fence. Mr. Ahmed was able to take care of this ordeal within 2 weeks, while I was dealing with this for 2 months on my own. He kept me updated via emails and phone calls and he was very flexible calling me when I was available, since I work in the morning.

Del Madani recently closed two unrelated sales for me in Chicago. I would call him a “full service” seller’s attorney. He handled matters far beyond the scope that typical sales attorneys would provide. These were fairly complicated transactions with HOAs, mortgages, and associated third-party fees. Without any prompting or hand-holding, Del set out to handle all of these matters directly with the HOA, lender, etc., and even got these third parties to waive fees that they would typically charge. All I did was sign papers and say “thank you.” Del is my top pick for future transactions.

Dorothy was recommended by our real estate broker as an attorney very well versed in closing condo's/multifamily real estate. Our purchase was not the easiest situation - the seller had passed away and his estate was directing the purchase. The estate attorney handled the property sale and was not on the details. Transaction was made more challenging due to a poor property manager who provided minimal details/help.
Dorothy was on top of the contract and all of the documents received by the HOA. She was very thorough & detailed. Her advice was balanced and pragmatic - offering a variety of options coupled with pros and cons to each option. She communicated frequently and responded quickly when contacted. I came to know Jennifer after I was looking for a lawyer to represent me in my highly contested divorce case dealing with a difficult ex-wife. Upon hiring Jennifer she immediately started working on my case. Jennifer spent the majority of time on my case and always protected my right to a 50/50 parenting time when my ex and her lawyers were throwing all kinds of false allegations against me in court to take my toddler away from me.

I am the guardian of a mentally disabled family member. Some years ago I was embroiled in a long-standing, complex dispute with care providers that could have resulted in devastating and dangerous consequences for my ward. Lara entered my legal case at this point, and assisted in bringing the situation under control in just a few months. I am president of a financial firm who has used this lawyer while he was at McGuire Woods prior to 2008 and now at Baker & McKenzie in 2008 and 2009. He was involved primarily with M & A activities but also estate and tax planning plus consulted on other legal areas for my Company and me personally. I found
the attorney to be very knowledgeable in the matters at hand plus had easy access to other colleagues within the firm for areas outside his domain. I must say I am very impressed by his expertise in particular and the firm in general. I have recommended him and his firm to other company's in the financial industry both in the U. S, and Ex U.S.
PS: I noted the only other review for this lawyer on AVVO and must say the anonymous contributor should be ashamed for the obvious lies and "deliberately hostile and insulting content". It should be removed ASAP and
no such anonymous "mudslinging" allowed on the site. If I had to hazzard a guess, it appears to be a post from a gilted girlfriend!!
