Throughout my life I’ve had numerous attorneys (more than 10) for various reasons. Bryant is hands down the best I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve had two accidents in recent years where I was not at fault but was injured. After getting “Hammered” by the attorney of my last claim with unreturned phone calls, emails and lack of updates in the case, I decided to find a new attorney for my recent injury. After much research I decided to retain Bryant and I’m glad I did. Every phone call and email was returned promptly- often times within minutes. Bryant updated me every strep of the process and constantly offered advice and help above and beyond what he was obligated to do. Even though the party that hit me had very little coverage and Bryant’s commission wasn’t a lot, he treated me as if the policy limit was a million dollars. If you read this review and are considering retaining Bryant, hopefully this review will be the deciding factor in retaining Bryant. I guarantee you will not regret it.

My experience with James Bizzieri and law firm has been comforting and pleasing! Even though my injuries and issues accompanying it held me back and weighed me down with anxiety, I was assured from there on out things would be less stressful. Mr. Bizzieri answered all questions I asked honestly and in a way that I can understand. Instead of just a lawyer he made me feel like I was talking to a close friend I confided in. I had a fabulous experience with this law firm although. Broken teeth, damaged cartilage in knee when a car turned right on red hit me. I somersaulted over the car into oncoming traffic landing hard on my knee. Gregg took my case and exceeded my expectations. His two paralegals Lydia and Denell were so kind and competent. I was injured on the job and barely could walk and was offered a very low settlement by a company’s insurance rep. I felt it was unreasonable so I looked in the yellow pages under K because my last name began with a K. I saw John P. Kolb’s name and decided I was just going for a consultation. Extremely nervous I was greeted with a very warm welcome and immediately felt that I was important. After one hour with John, I realized I need this lawyer in my corner. John took the time and explained my case in words I could understand. I Never felt rushed. I signed with John and my life changed. During my 2-year case John kept me updated as my case moved forward. Then after everything was said and done John called me and asked would I be happy with a settlement 10 times what I was offered. Bingo, I said yes and the rest is history. I had John as my lawyer in a hotly contested divorce proceeding which featured the withdrawal of the other side's lawyers during the case and the hiring of new ones midstream. John Malevitis guided the case through to a quite favorable settlement and conclusion for me. I have since hired him for various other business related matters. P.S. I asked John about the negative rating on Avvo received by a former client and I was advised of the client name, so I looked it up on the Court docket and found that in fact John had attended Court on her behalf about 30 plus times and that finally he had to withdraw when she was not cooperating with him and failed to attend Court as required. I don't understand how someone could publish these inaccuracies without first taking the time to look up the Court docket as I did!

Dagny was a pleasure to work with. My divorce wasn't overly complicated, however, my now ex wife was attempting to take the house I purchased for our family with inheritance money following the death of my mother. Dagny understood that my home carried a lot of sentimental value to me and understood the mission to separate my ex from it as much as possible. Thanks to my protective record keeping and Dagny's attention to the details, she was able secure the house for me and keep that buy out for my ex to less than half of what she wanted. I had hired Tom 5 yrs ago to arrange a parental visitation schedule order which was simple , he went out of his way to drive for my case which was held in kankakee IL ( it was very difficult to try to find an attorney who would venture out so far for my cause ) . Fast forward to 2020-2021 I had sought his services yet again for a contempt of court violation / parental time witheld by primary custodial parent . We are still on an ongoing fight for this but his drive to come through to the end for me is one I cannot thank enough . Kurt and his firm handle our commercial leases as well as being an excellent source of advice on various legal matters. Kurt listens. And is thoughtful in his responses. He does his homework, and doesn't hesitate to do whatever research is necessary to give us the best advice. He doesn't just tell you what you want to hear: he tells you the truth, and then gives you options that are fair, honest, and ethical. Plus, he has a good sense of humor, which is helpful when we are dealing with tough legal situations. The only time I didn't listen to him I lived to regret it. Words alone cannot express my gratitude to the entire Passen Law Group team. They took a very difficult time of my life a guided me to successful resolution.
After being rear-ended in a car accident I began having physical difficulties with speech, headaches, memory, taste and ringing in my ears. While in the Emergency Room it was discovered I had incurred a severe traumatic brain injury called a subdural hematoma.
While recovering after brain surgery, it took me some time to be able talk and communicate clearly again. During that time a lifelong friend encouraged I contact the Passen Law Group. The city of Chicago sure knows how to aggressively pursue assets involved in crimes even if the owner is innocent. The reason is that the city is poor, Zachary doesn't put up with this, while my two lawyers gave me good legal advice, they did not give me good civil forfeiture advice. Zach was way more knowledgeable than the two of them combined. Better to work with this guy than to let the city seize your assets.

Before he opened up his office Zac represented me on a case where my car was impounded by Chicago Police and he won the case. He got my car back for me and I did not have to pay a dime besides the fees he charged which were very reasonable at the time.
