Melissa was fantastic. We partnered on my prenuptial at later stages. And, in hindsight I do wish I had started the initial process with her. I entered the conversation initially thinking most of the heavy lifting was done; however, it was quickly apparent there were more topics that needed to be addressed and quickly. She was responsive, accountable, respectful of my time, and helped me to prioritize and to de stress a time sensitive and overall stressful period. We worked with Ryan Gardner and his team at Howard & Howard to redo from scratch our previous estate plan. The original plan had been created more than 10 years ago with a different firm, and although that firm came highly recommended, we were disappointed with its people, their process, and ultimately the plan. In stark contrast, Ryan and his team generously provided us with the care, expertise, and guidance we needed. The end result for us was creation of a strong estate plan that we understand so we have confidence it meets our family’s needs.
Here’s what Ryan and his team gave us that the other prominent firm did not:
• A robust initial call to get acquainted, to understand our goals and needs, to explain estate planning concepts in simple terms, and to identify the process and people with whom we’d be working; we couldn’t believe how much time we were given on this call.
• An engagement letter so the process and pricing were formalized and understood up-front. It gave us comfort and confidence to proceed. There were no silly or hidden costs.

When I Ianded in Steve Glickman's office over a decade ago, cold and without a recommendation, I took the kind of chance that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I got lucky....because of Steve's character. YES, he has deep knowledge, years of experience, and is attentive. Aside from that, Steve has repeatedly proven that he can be trusted. He has unwavering ethics and integrity. At vulnerable points in time, we often can't see through the fog. In retrospect, the empathy and emotional intelligence he applied, that I didn't even realize at the time, is striking. Things could've been a disaster absent his guidance.

I met with Steve a couple of years ago and I have been working with him since then on various employment issues. When I met with him, I had few employees who left the companies that I own, and they were conspiring and determined to sabotage my businesses. Kathryn helped me obtain legal permanent residency for my spouse after our marriage. Although our case seemed to be straight-forward, we ran into an unforeseen problem at our immigration interview. Kathryn quickly identified a solution for us and we were very thankful to have her as our advocate. She also followed up many times with our case officer to ensure our case was adjudicated in a timely fashion. My only complaint would be the somewhat opaque pricing scheme employed by her firm (e.g. paying by the hour without knowing how many hours it would take rather than paying for a final product), but I think this is standard practice in the industry. I would highly recommend Kathryn for anyone seeking legal advice on immigration matters.

I was struck in a hit-and-run car accident. They never caught the person. My car was totaled, I had a bad concussion and upper body injuries. My insurance did not want to cover much at all. Steven was great to work with. I had a crypto tax issue that Steven was able to review and resolve. I on my own would not have been able to navigate this issue with the IRS and State. Having a trained expert work on this was such a relieve. The case took longer than usual due to the pandemic. Steven made sure to keep me updated during the entire process with phone updates. We were able to get a favorable decision. It a big relieve and win for us.

Last year, a company took unauthorized payments 4 days in a row I didn’t know what to do, who to talk to, or if that was even legal. Based on my previous legal cases, lawyers from law firms don't seem to do much other than draining my money. So I tried to hire an individual lawyer, yet every one of them I contacted wasn't sure if my case was a consumer protection case or something else and wasn't able to find anyone who's willing to take my case even though I was being accused of something I didn't do. At this point, I was mentally exhausted and stressed out about what I was facing and how nobody was even willing to help me. Until I happened to Google the phone number of the company that was accusing me just to contact the company myself again and somehow "Agruss Law Firm" was the first thing showed in the result and I briefly left a message on the website thinking it wouldn't work anyway. I am very glad that I came across this agency, they were very professional and most of all able to assist me with my issue It is nice to know that there is help out there for the consumer who is being harassed and treated less than human.
