I believe that I had a more complicated case than most people. I had hired an attorney to help me with my case prior to meeting David. The attorney I hired, in my opinion, struggled with all of the moving parts of my case. After meeting with David, I decided to hire him to handle my case. Communication was great throughout the process. David was able to put me on a path to resolution. My opinion is not all attorneys are created equal, if you are exploring Bankruptcy, then David Shook should be your attorney!

Andrew Merriman hands down is the best lawyer I've ever dealt with. After my brother died in Jan. of 2001 without a will I contacted several lawyers regarding his estate and decided to hire Andrew. He is prompt, knowledgeable, and thorough. I had a lot going on at this time (I had another brother pass a few months later and parents in their 90's to take care of. Not to mention I live out of state) and I found Andrew to be patient and understanding during this difficult time. I also, found him to be fair, balanced, very professional in addition to being reasonably priced. I recommend Andrew without hesitation and am very happy with the services he provided.

In my opinion Andrew Merriman was the perfect representation I could have had during a time of crisis. Not only did he handle my custody case with great detail and care he was also able to guide and help me emotionally as a very young man going through one of the most difficult times in my life. Without his advice and counsel I do not know if my case would have turned out as favorable as it did and if I would have been able to be the father figure for my son I am today. Andrew Merriman saved my house from being foreclosed on. I didn't pay the mortgage for 17 months. Don't ask me how he did it. Spectacular job. In fact, I have used him for multiple legal issues and he always does a spectacular job, evictions, divorce, all handled, all wins from him for me. He is an honest lawyer and still a high-quality lawyer (impossible to find). Very alert in the courtroom. I still use him whenever something comes up.

I first went to see Jon when I was going through my divorce 6 years ago, he was great, very precise and thorough. He went above and beyond to help me go through a very difficult time in my life. David was referred to me by a friend as someone that could handle my contentious divorce, and thankfully that turned out to be correct. My divorce was high conflict, and dragged on much longer than it should have, but David was there for me every step of the way to handle every single roadblock that was thrown in our way. He was a wonderful resource for legal advice on how to navigate issues presented along the way, of which there were many. Obviously divorce is never easy, and tensions are high, but David has a way of breaking down issues and being logical that I really appreciated. He was extremely helpful with diffusing tense situations caused by my ex, helping me to leave emotions out of the decisions I was making. He was an advocate for me and my children throughout this process, and I am happily enjoying my regular parenting time with them. It was very hard not to take my bad experience with Mr. Kostin personally, but as I look at his reviews I think I understand it wasn't just me. Mr. Kostin was condescending and added pain to our already deep pain and suffering and he wasn't even our lawyer. We just had a consultation and he insulted me in a several unacceptable ways. He also seems to have made some calls before our meeting which seems to have biased his input in a very unhelpful way. I would not recommend.

Do not choose this lawyer. Bob talked a big game, but always had some sort of excuse for not making any moves. He often seemed lost and confused during negotiations. In the end this man cost me close to 50k in my divorce and quit as soon as he got a lien on my house. Please do yourself a favor and find a lawyer that will actually do what they say.

I do not suggest him at all. Yes he represented me and he only came to see me once the whole time he represented me. I would ask various family members to call him for me and he never returned their phone calls. As a Court appointed Attorney I would not suggest this Attorney. I stressed the whole time while waiting to go back to court. He wouldn't speak to me either. I was lost the whole time. This is not at all Correct Representation and No I do not recommend him.

I went to Mr. McMichael for my tax returns 3 years in a row. Aside from the high price, I did not receive the homestead credit all 3 years. The following year I went to another tax preparer and received the homestead credit. I questioned them on it, and they said no you are entitled to the homestead. They filed amendments on the previous three years returns and I was credited with a little over $1,000. I don't understand why this happened but was disappointed in Mr. McMichael's services.

I had Mr. McMichael prepare my taxes and was thoroughly impressed with the work flow he had and his finished product and his professionalism. I also had him help me with a response that was required by the IRS, something I never had to do in the past, he advised me appropriately and handled it quickly to everyone's satisfaction. What a relief! I went to see him this time but he does not seem opposed to come to my house if needed. He also did my mother-in-laws taxes. He is very detailed oriented and conscientious about privacy. Absolutely the Best!!

They mishandled my account and did not pay an overdue hospital bill. The collection agency reported to the credit agencies for an entire year before I realized that the bill had not been paid. They never apologized for their incompetence and simply blamed it on the fact that they have too many clients and not enough staff. I was finally able to terminate the guardianship after going to court and paying out of pocket for a court appointed attorney. Please stay away from this firm. They are unscrupulous and they're only objective is too earn money off of other people's suffering.
