I’ll get straight to the point. This is the worse attorney I could have been appointed to by the court. She was very unprofessional never showed up to any of my court dates, never informed me that she would not be there either. Tried to talk me into taking a plea WITHOUT informing me that my blood results for my DWI case came back MONTHS AGO showing I was under the limit and my case could get dismissed because of that. She hates criticism and when I expressed she was unprofessional she stated I could get another lawyer and she would put in a motion to remove herself from my case….. a case she clearly was not invested in to begin with.

I am easy to find, contact me if you need a recommendation on an estate attorney that will work for you... as opposed to this firm, that just did not measure up and just went through the motions...

I had Jaime for a case that I was clearly guilt in and I got probation for it. Well I should of got jail time in the first place but she pulled some strings and got me probation. And then got me off 5 months early !!! Which I didn't think was possible. Great attorney. Would recommend her family!

I have retained Robert for several different cases (family law) since 2017. He is worth every penny he charges and if you want someone who knows what they are doing look no further. I have known and watched several people hire incompetent and inexperienced counsel and they reap unfavorable results. Nothing is guaranteed in the legal arena but Robert will give you a considerable advantage.

My case was a very difficult case to win. I was fighting a 7 year old a horrible custody order. Robert's firm and team (John Herbig) was instrumental in securing custody for me. They were very detailed with the modification agreement. They suggested the best Amicus and Mediator to handle our case due to the difficulty. John went line by line with me on the modification agreement and made sure that all the wording was in a way I wouldn't get penalized in the end. On March 17, 2014; I had been arrested for a F2 Burglary of a Habitation I was accused of wearing a ski mask and breaking and entering a house in Magnolia, Tx I was unknowing of the law and did not think we were doing was wrong we did not wear ski masks or break in but we did go to house my co defendant and I went to retrieve a stolen object, in the process my co-defendant was assaulted with a hammer, well the kid who assaulted my co defendant was scared he would go to jail so he made the ski mask and breaking and entering part up so. It was my first time being in jail or in any form of trouble but there I was arrested and charged with a felony, worried and afraid of the unknown. Went through the process of waiting and having a public defender assigned to me never met her yet, worried by the voices in jail telling me public defenders are no go there not working for and i believed it. But i'm here to tell you don't believe that bullshit because my "public defender" who isn't working for me did everything for me..she got my case dismissed No Record. So..if you ever find your self in some legal trouble i'm here to tell you, Mrs. Robbie Sue Barker is the name you wanna see working on your case. Thank You Mrs. Robbie

This lawyer was the answer to my prayers...I was in the county jail facing burglary of a habitation, and assault and i have a prior felony.. I am a Iraqi war veteran with mental issues..Robbie Barker and i started on a year long process of attempting to find a way any way that i could stay free. So i get bail. and stay on bond for over a year fighting my charges. as i said i have mental issues, so there was sooo much work she had to do getting with doctors and hospitals, ect. every month we would go in court and she would fight with the D.A. Robbie and i needing more time and the D.A ready to prosecute. i was offered 10 years of TDC. In the court room i could watch Robbie fighting for me and every single month she would win against the D.A and the judge would give the countinuance....This happened time and time again. finally over a year had past and Robbie hit the courts with her defense for my freedom...Honestly i was thinking 4 years in TDC and i would be ok..long story short it went from 10 years in prison to Probation and community service....Robbie is a amazing lawyer. She related to you and helps you see the big picture...She does what you ask...She will explain everything to you....but most of all She will get you the best judgment in your case...i would reccomend Robbie to anyone but especially to those i care about because i know that she will make it happen... I am blessed because of Robbie... So if your reading this your obvioulsly in some type of trouble, take it from me a prior trouble maker, you cant go wrong with this lawyer... Good luck

I have never had a run-in with the law, so facing felony charges--I felt like my life was ruined. Chad Crowl was not only responsive (because I called often, and he made sure to give me a call back--even if there was nothing to report), but he was very reassuring and understanding. He listed out all of my possible outcomes in a way I could understand from worst case to best case and the likelihood of each. Luckily, I was granted terms for dismissal. This was my appointed attorney a few years ago. He was on my case for over a year. Every time I called to speak with him, if he couldn't answer the phone, he always made it a point to call me back in a timely manner. He went above and beyond to explain everything that was happening in a way that I understood. It was my first time ever dealing with courts and lawyers. I had a child custody case going and then my previous lawyer who was a big joke did nothing for a lot of money I fired him and found Ms Brown. There was only 2 months left on my case and she came in and made sure everything was right and everything was supposed to be the way it was. She won my custody case. Ok, please forgive the long post that is about to follow. Let me preface the scenario with the following statement; I hate 99.9% of lawyers who are currently practicing law or previously practiced. Without getting into too much detail, let's just say they violated my trust at an early age and therfore left a bad taste in my mouth sense. Now enters Kristy into a very stressful scenario in the small town of Liberty Texas. Because of the small nature of the town, apparently Judges don't have to be as versatile in law as in the big cities or so I suspect. Needless to say our poor attempt at Google law left us disappointed and broken, luckily this lawyer that I call a Saint stood up and spoke on our behalf with the necessary confidence and aptitude to silence assumptions from the court. After hiring her the level of empathy alongside understanding/accommodating a strict budget was both surprising and relieving. She accomplished in a month what we were unable to do so in 10 years, and did so with a transparent method that solidified our trust in her. Hopefully this will convey how pleased I am with her services, alongside an understood commitment to her as long as we are in Texas. You will not be disappointed, I promise, and please note that I don't usually write reviews as a majority of my business interactions fall short.

Wasn't to sure about him at first but he was willing to work with me on payments. He helped me keep custody but i think if he would have been more aggressive more could have went the way it was wanted. I didn't fully agree with everything he did but didn't really have much of a choice. Wish he would of atleast called 1 person to the stand during trial and i wish he would of listened to me on the lies i was catching the other party in. Kinda felt ignored during court.

He canceled many appointments, did not return calls or emails. He made everything a big joke, even saying opposing counsels motion for summary judgment was “no big deal”. He waited four months after I contacted him before he filed anything and what is filed was not correct. I had to hire another attorney to do summary judgment response. Walker refused to return my 1500 even though he did nothing to earn it. He treated me like I didn’t matter. Always talking about his other cases. He brought his son to one of our meetings! He spent 8 months wasting my time and I’ve had to hire someone else to get this dealt with. He’s a nice enough person, would be a good guy to have a beer with, is certainly part of the Montgomery county good ol Boys club, but not who I want representing me. The attorney I hired said I had enough to sue him for malpractice as he was so negligent with my case.

If Jeremy Finch is on the other side you have a great case! But if he is representing you better cut bait and take your loss. Did not do justice for me. He's all about the money you ask for help and he says you're bothering him to quit bothering or he'll drop you.. having never been through a divorce you would think he would help you out but tell me to be my best interest to keep paying all the bills child support even though that wasn't finalized on and do the right thing. When the divorce was finalized thinking he'd stay in my corner you pretty much said I didn't have a leg to stand on and then I agreed to everything I shoulda known better, like I said never been through divorce before. So my opinion piece of crap you're better off giving your spouse your checkbook and in my case your kids your house your boat your four-wheeler your dog all your clothes and all the debt

She was the amicus assigned to our case in 2009, as of today's date she has made only one visit to each of the homes. Multiple request have been made, for follow up visits from both opposing counsel as well as the families involved. Return calls remain unanswered, no follow ups to a case that is due in court this year.

Do NOT hire this attorney. She was the amicus in my child custody case, and suggested to a jury that my children should be with their father. A man who was abused as a child and physically, mentally, verbally and emotionally abused me for more than 10 years. She visited my home only once, never returned phone calls, and over the course of over 2 years only answered one email. That one email was in reference to her fee.

Lori Botello is very unprofessional. She takes weeks or months to get back to clients she is assigned to represent as a public defender. The mail she gives you to correspond with her does not have the correct return address (her own instead of inmate info....what an oversight for a LAWYER to make) so none of her clients in jail can contact her. Great.
