I had some questions and concerns regarding use of my medical license to order medications for international use. After contacting several lawyers I was referred to Nathan Mubasher who had the expertise and experience to provide guidance. During an initial phone consultation he was able to answer a lot of my questions and then provided a detailed proposal with a reasonable service fee. After our consultation I decided that I did not want to pursue the endeavor, therefore I did not sign on for services. However, I would definitely recommend him if you are seeking legal advice in this area. He was professional, knowledgeable and prompt with communication.

Hired Sam last minute, literally 48hrs before court, and with how prepared she was, you’d think she knew my case for months. Her coordinator, James, was phenomenal in gathering the information and putting the packets together for her. She kept it 100% with me the entire time, things she thought the courts would agree to and told me when to back off of other items. I hate to say we “won” our case because in child custody matters, it shouldn’t be able winning or losing, but she got exactly what was best for my child. And that is all I was concerned about. She was concise, articulate, to the point, with poise and a firm no nonsense tone in her voice she breezed through the hearing. I couldn’t be more happy with her and her team. They came together in a rush and we can a successful outcome. In a moment of panic, she had me take a moment, talked over things, and prepped me to face the opposing party. I haven’t felt that confident around him in years.

I was referred to Holstrom, Sissung Mark & Anderson by a friend who said they were the very best. I have to say he was absolutely right! Nov 2023, I chose to take leave after a long military deployment. Unfortunately, my leave was disrupted by a driver who chose to drink, drive and rear ended my family and I. As I was sitting in the hospital waiting room waiting for my mother and daughter to be seen I knew we needed someone to represent us. I deep dive into the internet reading reviews on several local attorneys.
I soon found Marc. All the reviews seemed genuine. I sent him and several others that passed my screening. First thing the following morning I had a message from his office offering an appointment as soon as the same day. He showed patience, compassion and understanding. There was no doubt in my mind that he was my guy.
Soon after I went on deployment and he worked with me even through the difficulties of having to find me medical attention out of state and sometimes having no comms with me.
At the time of settling with the insurance company, I have no doubt that he was aggressively fighting for us.
I don’t think that we would have had the outcome we had had it been another attorney.
If you need an attorney who cares and is willing to go above and beyond to look out for your best interest don’t waste your time with anyone else. Marc is your guy!

From the initial interview with lacilento it seemed a little shady. First he said how much did I quote you? He hadn’t quoted me so I yet airballed 2k? He charged me 5500. Before he was involved I had some contact with my little girl. 6k later I have zero contact with my daughter , I was shocked when he asked for more money. I was shocked he charged 2k for 30 min we were in court . I was shocked when he charged me 450 for a 4 minute phone call . I was asked by a friend (not internet savvy) to help search for some legal advice, so I turned to yelp to filter out the top rated lawyers to cut down on call time.
Aventus was the second on the list that I had called and ended up being the last since I didn't need to call on any others. They genuinely listened to the scenario and gave some sound feedback. Be careful with these sharks. Have your guard up in the end they’re here to make money and that’s their number one priority.
Long story short, I went in with my case. Other party was using non existent arrears to have me bend at their will. I went to them for help and they strung me along making me think I had a chance.
First court date comes up and judge calls off. Over $1500 for that day and all I got was a continuance.
They charge me for 3 missed phone calls that totaled up to just under $300
My attorney called me the the wrong name twice.
Other party reaches out for an agreement proposal and instead of attempting to resolve they state “attorney is ready to go” and we proceed to court. $2800 later and all they did was ask for continuance.
$16,000 later and they tell me to just agree to the terms other party has presented me. The exact same position I was in before I hired Reel father rights. Thousands in the hole and no custody of my child. Beware of them.

From the day that I walked into meet with Jeff and Dayn it has been a pleasurable experience. I was forced to hire an attorney when my ex filed a motion for full custody of our daughter even though I had been the custodial parent since birth . After making a few calls to law offices I made an appointment to meet with Dayn Holstrom.. I have worked with Dayn, Jeff and Mariana throughout my case and I have never been disappointed. I was very comfortable with each of them. I never felt nervous at any time throughout my case. Before I hired them, I was representing myself and it has been very scary. They did a great job in representing me and won my custody case for me. I have an upcoming support hearing and I am comforted by the fact that I know I have great representation. she was my former attorney, and I fired her after acted against my will three time on the same issue. I have serious reservations about her competence and ethical conduct:
1. She ignored and acted against my will not once, not twice, but three times on the same issue. I didn’t feel like I was respected at all. She failed to communicate her strategy and get my consent, which I think is to the purpose of maximizing her billing hours.
2. Her oversight delayed my case for a month. I told her the other party’s translation was not done by a court-certified translator twice, one time via phone, one time via email. she just ignored it. When the judge asked her if she knew that, she said she didn’t. I don’t know if she perjured herself or she didn’t remember. The result is that I had to wait a month for the other party to get the translation done by court-certified translator.
3. I believe Ms. Eyre knew the court wouldn't grant spousal support and attorney's fee while the jurisdiction hasn't been determined, the best option for me was to continue the hearing until the jurisdiction is determined. But instead she deliberately found a case law that’s obviously irrelevant to jurisdiction and pretended that I had a chance so that she could argue in court to maximize her billing hours. In re Marriage of Knox, 83 Cal.App.5th 15 (2022), the case law she used, has no bearing on jurisdiction. I think this action resulted in a Breach of Duty. If she argues that that’s not her intention, then she is incompetent to see that the case law had no bearing on jurisdiction. I consulted multiple lawyers, they all told me every lawyer knows the court wouldn't grant any financial relief while the jurisdiction hasn't been determined, this is taught in the first year of law school I felt deeply wronged upon learning this. I knew lawyers could be greedy, but I thought she'd go easy on me because I told her I couldn’t get a job due to my immigrant status and had taken a loan to fund the lawsuit.
I strongly advise against considering her for your legal needs.

He is not only very friendly and answering any questions I had, but also very experienced, professional, considerate and thoughtful in many details in your favor when he handled my WC case. Most of us, ordinary people don't have much experienced how a WC case develops. Particularly, my work injury was not a broken arm or leg, but I had a injury in my heart by the stress of my overloaded work. I realized later that I need to file a WC claim after couple of ER visits because of my damaged heart, but I had no idea how to proceed. I felt very lucky to find and have Attorney Brian filed my WC claim and get his guidance in every step during my WC claim.

Alex recently represented me as part of Kristen Holstrom's team in a custody and child support dispute. Admittedly, I was nervous at first with Alex only being an attorney for a short amount of time; however he understanding this he was able to communicate what the plan of attack was and how we would move forward with the case. After sitting five minutes with Vonya I new my case and life was about to change for the good. The main thing she did was listen and supported me and my family from the start. She was able to explain everything in detail which removed my anxiety and fear. She then took over and started fighting for me. Her sensitivity, patience’s, and professionalism is bar none. I was looking at ten years, with four felonie strikes. I ended up going to trial. My case ended with me receiving 58 days work released, and informal probation.

I needed legal advice on how to negotiate a landlord and tenant dispute and a friend recommended Mr. Iles. I had heard that most attorneys charged a consultation fee, which made me hesitant in seeking advise. To my surprise, Mr. Iles not only helped me with my lease issue, but did so without charging me a consultation fee. Rare in this day and age, yet greatly appreciated. When I asked him why, his response was, "one kind act, begets another" and that I had helped him fulfil his pro bono requirement, whatever that meant.
If I ever have another legal issue to deal with, I will undoubtely give Mr. Iles a call.

I have personally known Ivan since Jr. High School. I have consulted with him off and on over the years regarding personal & business legal matters and he's always given me sound advice and made recommendations to me to follow through on legal matters, including lawsuits. While I have always taken matters in to my own hands, having a very knowledgeable attorney as a friend is always calming knowing I have someone on my side. Not only was my car illegally towed by the city, the tow company involved caused damage to the gas tank during the tow and of course refused to take responsibility.
