We hired Aaron to handle a complex commercial litigation matter because we knew it could end up in bankruptcy. I’m sure glad we did. The other side took us from district court to bankruptcy court to the bankruptcy appellate panel to the ninth circuit. His prior work as a Prosecutor helps him win cases. Hired him on Multiple cases over the years. In 1 case he got Felony charges dismissed. In 2 other cases got my Felony reduced to very minor misdemeanors and simple Probation. In 1 of the Felony case; if convicted; would of violated me but Mr. Meyer, got the judge to agree to let the simple"stay out of trouble Probation continue". You won't find a better attorney anywhere. I remember OJ Simpson's first choice in lawyer's was Paul Meyer (but would of been a conflict of interest). Since CNN had already retained Mr. Meyer & Greta Van Susteran to be the "OJ" Commentators for their network. Read his 1 bad review. The Client acknowledges that he got her major charges reduced to a very minor charge. You can't ask for more of any Criminal Defense Lawyer. He knows how to keep a person out of Jail. Period. I now live in Nevada and Paul Meyer is the equivalent of Our former Mayor; Oscar Goodman, and the Late Mr. Foley ; whom our Federal Courthouse is named after as well.......Mr. Meyer also let me make payments which is hard to believe from such a well connected; prominent Lawyer. Paul is an outstanding attorney. My experience with him was second to none. He is very calm, but will give it to you straight when it comes down to the circumstances around your case. He is well connected and recognized by fellow attorneys at the courthouse. My case in particular, had a bit of media attention and he wanted absolutely no part of it which I really respected. Steve Young settled a case for me during the depths of the recession, when I needed a change in my lease. Although the landlord was very unpleasant and uncooperative, he got a very good settlement for me, with little fuss. I assume Steve is very knowledgeable about the law and a skillful trial lawyer. Or at least he spent a lot of time telling me this. (I heard how important he was a lot!) His ego is pretty huge. However, he has little interest in the day to day handling of a case. He delegates that to his staff. I hired Nicole for a divorce case. The divorce was ultimately filed in a different jurisdiction so I didn't get to see the full process through with her and her team, but I greatly appreciated their expertise, professionalism, and empathy throughout my time working with them. With their help, I felt informed and prepared to navigate the challenges of the divorce process. Nicole was the right choice to handle my recent divorce proceeding. She was professional all the way through and I am very happy with the results of my case. She took charge from the beginning and although we were on opposite sides with an attorney, a forensic accountant and an ex-husband who wanted to challenge our positions every step of the way, Nicole did not back down ever and always fought for me to get me the best result possible. She did not sugarcoat anything - she explained my positions from a legal standpoint and if the laws were not on my side on a particular issue, she explained why. She is extremely thorough in her preparations and was always several steps ahead of the opposing counsel, which worked to our advantage. I wanted to get through the process as quickly as possible and I provided everything in a timely manner and Nicole and her team took it from there. I felt that we were a team working toward the same goal and we settled the case in about a year. There was never a time when I was waiting on her to get something done; Nicole was always on top of things and always returned calls or responded to emails quickly and efficiently. Nicole is very knowledgable about family law and really understands the legal environment in Orange County. During my case, she moved from a larger firm to a smaller, boutique family law practice as a partner. She explained her decision to do this as her wanting to have a better ability to serve her clients in the most favorable way possible, and I did find this to be the case after she made the transition. Nicole makes sure that whoever is assisting her in her practice is competent and professional. I was referred to Nicole through a family member who knows her from her work on the Orange County Bar Assoc. Ethics Committee. The opposing side knew that she was a force to be reckoned with, but she was never disrespectful and always expected propriety from everyone on both sides. Nicole conveyed confidence, integrity, and professionalism throughout the year-long divorce process. Nicole made sure that I understood what the future may hold in regard to modification of my court orders and she worked diligently during the proceeding to document all pertaining facts and to make sure that whatever may come later would be prepared for with substantial evidence and information relevant to my case. Nicole was also very responsive to my questions and inquiries and has remained so even though my case is now complete. I know that I can always count on her if I need her in the future. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an intelligent, ethical, knowledgable family law attorney who will guide and advise them through what is very likely an emotionally difficult and challenging time. Nicole had the right amount of empathy for what I was going through, but also knew how to steer me toward getting to the end result - freedom from a marriage that was not working. Nicole made sure that I would have a future with the financial support that I deserved after a long term marriage and she really wanted the best for me personally, which I really appreciated. I hired Mark Ross to help me with a corrupt trustee who we eventually were able to get rid of despite her spending nearly all trust assets defending herself using the most expensive law firm in Orange County. Throughout the 5 years of struggle, Mark's billings were clear and reasonable. He did an excellent job of keeping me informed of everything that was happening, was open and considerate to my input, and responsive to my concerns. Mark kept up with all critical dates and timelines despite having several other cases. Mark's judgment was good in that he advised when to fight and when to accept and settle. His focus was on my welfare, not just generating fee income. We didn't win every battle, but we won the war.

Atty Ross negotiated a very favorable settlement with opposing counsel on a complicated Trust/Probate matter worth hundreds of thousands of dollars to me.
He always did what he said he would do. Communication was excellent and he returned phone calls and emails promptly. His advice was well worth the expense of his representation.

My father and I had an excellent experience with Teran Mawhinney and Molfetta law. My parents were stuck in a timeshare that they weren’t able to get out of and the property was going into foreclosure. Teran helped us quickly sign a deed, in lieu of foreclosure with the timeshare company that got both of my parents out of the timeshare. These timeshare companies can be a real pain to deal with, and Teryn and team helped us fix the problem quickly and professionally. Thank you so much much.

Paid Molfetta 15K to defend me in court and put a lien on a home since I had a $2 million judgment on the owners. He never did anything. Wrote and emailed him multiple times. Saw him 3 times and the last time he said he never said he’d do it. Never would I had given that kind of money to him.

Worst lawyers ever. They let a whole year go by and never sent my husband to the doctors or anything. They had my email , his email, my number , his number , including our home address and we’d call for updates and they’d always say everything is going great if they needed anything they’d call us. After a year they dropped our case for “no communication”. And then told us they had the wrong number on file. Now we’re struggling to fight a car accident case because of how long it has been.

Dui 03/17/2016 Costa Mesa ca When I got my dui with an accident I panicked about jail and being sued. I went through the phone book looking at ads trying to figure out who was good. I came across an ad that gave me comfort. I met with Adam Cole and his staff , they made me feel relaxed and helped me prepare for the next long 6mths. Although I didn't get out of the DUI I only got 3mths of classes{BAC1.8} and they got the accident thrown out . They are now working on expunging my dui .. Thanks Guys you are the best,,

Mrs. Noroski represented my corporation. She was not detail oriented in asking the right questions and did not do her due diligence on a contractual/real estate matter. Eventually, I got frustrated and asked another attorney to take over. I lost time and money that can't be recovered now.

I hired Ms Halbreich in late June to dispute and hopefully change my ex-wife's custody of my 2 young children. I was told that she thought I had a good chance as my ex's behavior with my children was neglectful. She told me that if I took the time to write out my 'case' in my own words I would save her time, and myself money, and after spending a good number of hours I supplied her with my entire written version on July 6th. I was told that it was an excellent description and the petition used my words to a large degree in almost 'cut & paste' form.
I had urged Ms Halbreich to file the petition as soon as possible (on at least 4 occasions) so that I will receive a hearing date BEFORE the start of the school year as there was a dispute over where my daughter would go to school this year. Ms Halbreich promised me she would file the petition before July 15th, when she was due to leave on vacation.
In actuality, she started the work, was hard to get a hold of or hear back from in the days leading up to her departure, and left the task to be finished by her partner, Douglas Amo (who she told me would be covering for her while she was on vacation). The petition was only filed on July 27th. This resulted in a court date being set for September 9th, the 2nd day of the school year, resulting in incredible stress for my family and my daughter being registered (and attending) 2 different schools this past first week of school.
No one in Ms Halbreich's firm cared enough to inform me that we still had the right to request the court expedite our case because of the pressing matter of school enrollment and I did not have the knowledge that it was within my rights to request it.
To add insult to injury when I received my copy of the petition on July 29th I had immediately noticed that the box for 'change of custody' was NOT checked and called Mr Amo immediately. He reassured me that it was alright and I accepted his claim, not having any legal knowledge myself.
In reality, after 6 long weeks of stress and anticipation my day in court finally arrived this past Wednesday, Sept 9th, and my case was tossed out immediately by the judge for the 'change of custody' box having been left unchecked.
I have never felt more helpless and defeated as those moments in court when the judge said she wouldn't hear my case because the paperwork wasn't filed correctly!
Fortunately, I had fired Ms Halbreich a week before the hearing and hired a new attorney who managed to get the court to give us an extension of time to re-file our petition. This case will now drag on for a few more unnecessary weeks (or months) and the $5700 that I had paid Ms Halbreich's firm have gotten me nothing but stress and frustration. I was subsequently told by a few other attorneys that filing a petition for a change of custody should not have cost me more than $2500.
I have detailed my case here because I have read lawyer's replies on this website that use big words to crush the clients' complaints, dismissing them as total nonsense. I have stated nothing but the events as they occurred and strongly urge anyone to NOT HIRE THIS ATTORNEY!!!
