I wanted to began by saying that if you are looking for a honest and hard working attorney Mr.Bogan is the way to go, he always made me understand my husbands options and always made it our choice on what we wanted to do after giving us his legal counsel. In my case it was looking bad for my husband,it looked like he was going to be in jail for a while but Mr. Bogan fought and managed to reduced the years they were giving him, something that I thought would not happen. Mr Bogen was assigned my son's case as a public defender in Kaufman county back in July of 2022. My son faced serious charges that sadly he was guilty of. However the focus of Mr Bogen from day one was to get my son the help he needed to get over his addictions and live a successful life without this mistake being held over my son's life forever. When Kaufman county refused to help my son, Mr Bogen fought them hard and got them to dismiss the charges in a short 2 months. He also gave a dose of reality to my son's mom and made her realize that she had to step up or see her first born in prison for up to 40 years.
He went above and beyond and got the best possible outcome for my son. He fought hard for a client that the county was paying for, at no point did I feel like he was not fighting 100% with all of his tools to win.
My only regret is he does not handle Family Law cases.

Going into my sons case I was praying for the best but prepared for the worse. No matter what day or time if we called Mr. Bogen and he couldn’t answer us right away he would text right away that he was in the middle of something and he kept his word by always calling back. He went above what he was supposed to on defending my son. He also gave us hope we would pull through it. I will always be grateful for him and all his hard work!

I was referred to Mr. Corbett by a couple of my close friends. I can tell you I was not disappointed! He was great and I could not recommend him more! His prices were much better than anyone else I had spoken to before. He took care of all of the court dates for my misdemeanor and got it dismissed, all for $500! Let me start by saying Jesus met me on the day I was to accept a DWI plea. My attorney I hired couldn’t make it so Jesus met me there. Upon reading the conditions my attorney negotiated Jesus advised me that if I was his client he wouldn’t feel comfortable allowing me to sign it. He then negotiated with the prosecutor and got me a much better deal. Saved me $5,000 in fines and a lesser charge. He did all of this without billing me a dollar. I am so grateful and would recommend him to anyone who is facing criminal charges in Dallas.

In 1981 at the age of 13, I arrived in the US as a refugee and received my green card shortly thereafter. In my youth, I committed multiple offenses, one of which was serious enough to be considered an "aggravated felony" for immigration purposes. However, despite of my record, I still wanted to become a citizen so that I could travel internationally without having to worry if I would clear immigration and customs upon returning. I also knew that my case would be complex and that I needed a good and experienced attorney to help me. My search started in 2010 (by this time I have been living as a green card holder for almost 30 years). I contacted multiple highly rated immigration attorneys listed on avvo.com and felt the most comfortable and confident with Mr. Chavez.
The process began with the office conducting a comprehensive review of my background and obtaining certified copies of court records. The work was impressive as they did not miss anything, and I know for certain that I could have never done this myself.
After carefully reviewing my record, Mr. Chavez recommended that, for now, I should not apply for citizenship because the risk was too high that USCIS could start removal proceeding against me. His strategy was for me to continue to follow the law, volunteer my time, and wait until the law is more favorable to my case before applying. I was devastated with this news because to me it meant to forget about ever becoming a citizen and this was the end of the road.
However, I didn't give up and neither did Mr. Chavez. I set a reminder and send an email to Mr. Chavez every few months just to check if there are any changes to the law that would benefit me. Then six years later (2016), Mr. Chavez and Caitlin Twyman contacted me to let me know that there is a pending case with the Supreme Court that could help (or hurt) me, depending on the decision. (The case is Mathis v. United States: http://www.scotusblog.com/case-files/cases/mathis-v-united-states/). After determining that Mathis v. United States helps my situation, Mr. Chavez recommended that I apply.
With renewed confidence (on my part), and with the help of the office, we submitted my N-400 application in December 2016. On 03/22/2018, I had my interview with USCIS. During the interview, I was accompanied by Mr. Mark Lee (one of the excellent attorneys at the office). After the interview, the Officer stated that because my case was complicated, he needed more time to review (this usually means a long delay). However, Mr. Lee requested that the Officer review my while we were there so that we could answer any questions he may have. To my surprise, the Officer agreed and after reviewing my file, he verbally told us that he would recommend "approval" for my application. However, his decision was not final and pending a review/approval by his supervisor (this meant that it could be denied even though he wanted to approve). I believed what Mr. Lee did expedited the process by at least a few months and greatly helped my case. Then on 03/30/2018, I received a phone call from the Officer (who was great) informing me that my case has received final approval. Wooohooo, this was one of the best news I have received in a long time!!!!
After taking the Oath and receiving my certificate of naturalization on 04/17/2018, I feel as if I have been reborn, and I am forever grateful for the work done by Mr. Chavez, Mr. Lee, Ms. Twyman, Ariel, Beatriz and the support staff. I'd like to Thank the Office of Chavez and Valko for their hard work. I was very pleased with their extensive preparation for my case. They are very professional and courteous. For a little over 9 years, I had consulted with other immigration forms, and non of them could help me. They always gave me the "run-around" and uncertainty for my case. Being that another firm had lost all of our documents for immigration, With Chavez and Valko hard work, they were able to "find" copies of my documetns dating back to 1994! Also, during the interview, the officer was surprised that Chavez and Valko were able to get copies o fhtese documents. The officer also congratulated Chavez and Valko for this accomplishment. Detectives was coming after me in two counties and keep arresting me for warrants with my old lawyer. Ms Baharan got me a Not guilty when we had a jury trial. I was arrested and taken to jail with a DWI . I’ve never had any convictions or been in that situation before so everything was new to me. Not only to mention I’m a DACA holder, so everything and anything could hurt my status.As a young adult is hard to be taken serious due to our age.We still want this matter taken care off the best way possible because our future is on the line. Efrain was very professional and what I like to call “ The Goat” he took care of business. After going to court for almost 1.5 yrs he always made sure I knew everything was going to be handle in the best way possible. My case was quite difficult due to my immigration status. Although I am in the process of fixing through my wife, probation was a risky option. Going to report to probation would risk me getting deported. Mr. Sain handled my case better than anyone else could have. Susan is an impressive immigration attorney that gives several options depending on your circumstances. Gave me hope as opposed to another immigration attorney who just gave me one outcome and did not think outside the box. As an accountant my chances of getting a green card through the employer route had a high chance of being denied. I 100% recommend Susan for any kind of immigration services. Below is my experience:
Susan handled my H1B transfer when I changed employer, and I have less than a year on my H1B. Susan was very informative, she clearly explains process and provides necessary information to the candidate which will give sufficient time to collect information timely whether it could be data and documents.
Now the interesting part is, I have less than a year on my current H1B, and if I am not at certain stage (I-140) of Green Card process, I can't continue my stay. Everyone told me now there is no hope and it's already late and I also lost hope.
As soon as Susan taken up my H1B transfer case, in parallel she explained the urgency my situation to my employer and initiated Green card process as it's time sensitive.
She acted really fast with out giving any chance for further complications, which is not possible with a commanding knowledge/background on the case area dealing with.
Long story shot, With in 3 months my PERM got approved, and in another less than a month I-140 got approved and now got 3 years of H1B extension with NO RFEs.
Susan and her team were really responsive to my queries, providing necessary information in advance. I highly recommend their services.

Shawn is a brilliant attorney when it came to my case. I was unfortunately put into a rough spot regarding a traffic ticket with three violations, but Shawn was able to reduce the severity. When you're being charged with any crime, it is something that needs to be taken very seriously. I'm so very glad I made the decision to select Hernandez and Baggett. They had excellent communication and were very responsive to answer all my questions from start to finish. Robert was able to negotiate a lesser charge of highway obstruction. My BACs were high at almost 15%. I interviewed Dallas's top lawyers and most were very bleak in their outlook.
Another top lawyer's sole strategy was just to negotiate my jail time. Robert explored every option thoroughly on the other hand. Robert does not rush working the case details with you and takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. This is something I really appreciated, and is hard to find in a lawyer. I hired Robert&Baggett to represent me in DWI case that I found myself in January 2016. Robert told me the challenges that were ahead of me and since am Truck driver (CDL) my job depends on my driving licence I was in a tight situation since my blood analysis was at 0.17. My licence was to be suspended and immediately Robert asked for a hearing with DPS and we won my licence wasn't suspended. Russ, Michelle and their office staff assisted me in resolving a complicated felony DWI case. Let me just say, this was the most stressful time of my entire life; when you have a pending legal charge, you spend every day in limbo- feeling scared and uneasy about what the future may or may not hold. I am unsure if I could have made it through those months without the help of their office. As a local business owner and single parent, my life was completely chaotic, even before this added stressor. Russ and Michelle were incredibly knowledgeable, easy to talk to, reassuring and FAST; if I had any question, I could always just shoot over an email and expect a response within hours, sometimes minutes. All thanks to Mr. Pete Schulte! Never having been in a predicament with the law, I was incredibly sacred and nervous when I walked into Mr. Schulte's office for my initial meeting.
