We recently moved Jarret and his bill is yet to be paid. If your looking for a lawyer don't look here. We reimbursed him 22.50 for a 4-6 dollar planter. He owes us over a thousand dollars and we may have to take him to small claims court. I can't say he's a bad lawyer because I'm not sure but if you are serviced and your only gripe is a 6 dollar planter that we told you we felt uncomfortable moving was broke. Then you found a way to not pay while it looks like you did. Jarret Benson has no morals. Find a lawyer who will have a ethical code.

James Cordes provided terrible advice. His drafting was sloppy and required extensive redrafting by opposing counsel, and he advised me to take a terrible deal. Because of James, I am taking home a fraction of my income. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize how bad it was until firing him and employing new counsel. He is a nice man, but a bad lawyer. I wish I had gotten a second opinion before it was too late.

James is a nice man. But he cost me 100s of thousands of dollars that I didn’t need to pay. I consulted with two additional attorneys, but it was too late and the damage was done. He also gave me bad advice about the likely outcome of a court case if we went to trial. The money out-of-pocket going to my ex wife was earmarked for my children in a trust. In short, she is taking my kids’ inheritance and James advised the outcome. James is minimally competent—he included items in the separation agreement that I did not okay, massive amounts of typos in court documents, and he advised that if I went to court I might have to pay lifetime maintenance (I later found out that the statutory period would have been 7.5 years, not 40+ years (if my ex-wife lived to be 80) as he suggested could be the outcome. James means well and seems like a nice guy, but he is a bad lawyer.

We hired Lester Nieves to represent a very complex criminal case. I completely trust him to represent who we hired him for. He definitely knows the law and your rights . I would recommend him above any other attorney including the ones that are way too high priced for our budget. Lester's fee to retain and represent are more than fair. Having no experience in this field at all, I was pretty terrified when I was shown to be at fault for a car accident. The entire team was excellent gave me a lot of information helped me to remain calm, and on the day of Katy in particular went way above and beyond the call of duty to help facilitate me reaching the courthouse on time. I was very impressed on every level with this operation.
Oh, and they significantly reduced the amount of trouble I was going to get into! Well worth the retainer.

I would not recommend this law firm. Mr. Driskell worked on my sons case. He never returns phone calls and e-mail. His prices are outrages. We’re thinking he cheated us on our settlement. I’ve ask for the file and to this day I have not gotten anything!!!

Do not hire Patrick Fitzgerald. This has by far been the worst experience I have ever had. Mr Fitzgerald will make deals with the DA that you did not approve of and use your case against you to make you feel like less of a human being. He will criticize, curse and hang up on you if you question what he is doing and why he is making deals without your consent. Absolutely horrible!!

I can’t further express the gratitude that I have for this team. Nic and Sarah have both been so solid through out not only the duration of my court cases, but completely went above and beyond following my court dates to assist me the entire step of the journey through to the end date of my probation. Sarah continued to be there to answer my calls, emails, texts questions, everything from dmv questions, to probation questions, to out of state dmv questions. My case happend while on vacation so I was unable to attend court in person and Nic was above and beyond in getting our hearings heard as early as possible via zoom and was able to attain the best outcome that could have been possible thanks to the investigating he did into the case. Without this team I genuinely believe that this would have gone a lot differently and I would still probably be paying an unfair price. I highly recommend this firm to anyone in need that wants to get the best possible outcome in the court rooms. Hired Marlo Greer to represent my family and myself after experiencing a car accident resulting in months of rehabilitation and physical therapy. Poor communication and very hard to get ahold of had multiple Paralegals that ussually never knew what was going on which made thing frustrating and left in the unknown. Glad to have everything completed as this was our first time needing legal representation as I will use this bad experience as a learning experience unfortunately. Won't get to deep in it though as she is somewhat nice just seems to have her hands full with "more important cases" Unfortunate experience for sure!

I had high hopes for Ms. Greer based upon her other reviews. I signed up with Ms. Greer in January of 2023, and repeatedly requested that she send out the Demand letters that would start the negotiations of my claims because I didn’t want to treat for the accidents anymore and wanted all of this behind me. Her office was provided with lists of the medical providers I saw and for which accident twice in writing 8-9 months ago and again over the phone in August. A suit was filed on my first case to “preserve the statute of limitations” while some issues were being worked out. The “excess carrier” denied any exposure by saying that the Defendant named in the suit is an excluded driver and Ms. Greer was unable to ascertain as to whether or not the exclusion indeed applies. At certain times during Ms. Greer’s representation of my cases questions that I would ask in the messaging section of the software she uses would not be replied to for days to weeks which caused more lost time while I am already racing a clock. Now that I have one case in litigation with deadlines to meet and the Statute of Limitations for another case she was representing me for is just over nine months away, she has terminated our working relationship. At first she assumed that I did not trust her and instead of asking me outright whether I trusted her or not, she told me to let her office know when I found other counsel and went so far as to recommend another firm. After telling me to find other counsel and suggesting another firm she suggested that we keep a meeting that was scheduled to which I replied that I saw no need for a meeting. It was not made clear that she felt we had a misunderstanding and that she wanted to continue to represent me. The aforementioned was then back peddled on and she claimed that I had told her my previous counsel did not intend to assert a lien. When asked during a meeting with her if my former counsel intended to place a lien on my case, I actually said that I was unaware as to whether or not he would assert a lien and that he had been paid out of the portion of my case that he did actually settle. Ms. Greer and my former counsel who I once had a working relationship with have communicated in the past because Ms. Greer told me that my former counselor felt awful about the breakdown of our relationship. Instead of asking him if he intended to assert a lien on the part of my case that she was working on while she was communicating with him, she is now using his intent, in part, to withdraw from my cases at a very compromising time for me. Once I questioned my old counsel, it turned out that Marlo assumed he was asserting a lien. She has also stated that I tried to be an acting paralegal in my case. That’s untrue. What I did was to start pushing to get all of this behind me because I now have a limited disability that has been caused by my accident related injuries. This has all been mentally, physically, and emotionally exhausting to the point that it is highly unlikely that I will pursue the cases at all anymore. Marlo made many assumptions based upon her “suspicions” and added requirements not outlined in her Agreement nine months into our relationship. Ms. Greer has said that I am from FL and understand FL laws, but that we are in CO. After spending 6 years drafting Demand letters in CO on a contract basis it seems that the accident case formula of 1: accident happens unfortunately 2: attorney is contracted 3: injured person treats 4: medical records and bills are gathered 5: demand letter is drafted 6: demand letter is sent to the insurance adjuster 7: negotiations begin 8: settlement is reached is the same. That is how the cookie usually crumbles. The key difference I see in Florida and Colorado cases is the speed at which firms operate in each State respectively. I had a severe car accident in 2014. I did not want to get an attorney, but after about 3 years of doctors trying to convince me to speak to an attorney, a neurologist changed my mind. He told me that an attorney would be able to help me get medical care that most people would not think about. My chiropractor told me about Marlo. I am so thankful for their recommendation.
Marlo helped me in many ways that I can’t list them all. She dealt with insurance and more importantly, the opposing council. Marlo helped me to understand what was important and what was not. Most importantly, Marlo helped me to get medical assessments and care that I needed.
I used the medical records in my Army Medical Board packet. I received 70% Army and 100% VA disability ratings.

Jonathan essentially made this difficult process very smooth for me. It's with great pleasure to recommend Trista for any complex Family Law matter. Her attention to detail, impeccable memory, and thorough skillset in the courtroom explains why it was apparent Judges respect and listen to her. Complex cases can be challenging when small details can make or break the outcome, and with Trista leading the strategy, I was fortunate to have a favorable outcome. Her investment in her clients cases is sincere and genuine. I was happy with the outcome, while she was critical of herself wanting more in OUR case (she's in it for you and your family more than I've seen any other attorney invest in their families). Divorce is not fun for anyone. It's particularly hard when people get unpleasant and can't cooperate with each other. This is why I love Terri's approach. She's very focused on an approach where conflict and nastiness are avoided in favor of collaboration and cooperation. I have felt like my needs were met as I have worked through this process - Terri has made herself available to me as I needed support or had questions. Terri was recommend to me by a friend and she was very supported through the process of reviewing the premarital documents for my upcoming marriage. It was also in a short timeframe that we had to complete the documents. I hired Colleen for a divorce, and during the initial consultation I was told everything I wanted to hear in order for her to get my retainer, then it all went downhill from there. I do not think it is ethical for attorneys to make false promises to clients, and have no accountability for poor performance. Colleen was never on time for a single appointment we arranged, and it was clear that she took on more cases than she could handle to maximize her revenue, even as it diminished the quality of her legal work. I would go into hearings having no idea what was going on, as there was inadequate or no preparation at all. In the end, I was coerced into a settlement agreement I did not want to sign, with Colleen complaining beforehand about collecting more attorneys fees, and her not wanting to do a full day hearing. You'd honestly be better off representing yourself.

I can’t put into words how great of a lawyer Lucas is. I consulted multiple lawyers and they all said that license would be suspended. When I got in touch with Lucas he told me not to worry, and that he would take care of me. The cases were in two separate counties (Denver/Broomfield) and the process was seemless. He responded in a timely fashion and even checked in on me to make sure I was completing my court ordered work. It was a major relief when he told me that he accepts payment plans. Lucas was great! I hired him for a drug case in Arapahoe County. He fought the DA all the way to the end. Lucas helped me get a plea where I can seal my case in the near future. Lucas stuck with us getting a settlement completed for almost 2 years.
