Scott Telson was rude and dismissive. Does not care if you have a disability, and it seems that he will treat you worse because of it, based on my personal experience.
The lack of patience and empathy I experienced was truly appalling and it makes sense as to why his license was previously suspended.
He does not need to be rude to be a lawyer.

Alison is an extremely knowledgeable, caring, attorney. What we originally expected to be an easy sale of a house turned out to be much more complicated deal. While another attorney tried to scare us and tell us we needed multiple attorneys. Alison just said we can handle this and walked us step by step handling everything for us so we didn’t have to worry. She goes above and beyond for her clients. We sold our previous home recently and Alison represented the buyer. There’s a radon issue which couldn’t be resolved on time and therefore we paid a deposit to Alison’s account to have the transaction closed first. Alison’s paralegal was the worst at updating us in the progress (when Alison told us that someone would update us tomorrow, it never happened). Maybe it’s because Alison didn’t represent me. But communication with people on a case is a very important aspect of the job. That’s not how I would treat someone I work with (either with a shared interest or not).
Update: this paralegal called Donna said she only deal with my attorney, which is a funny way to evade from the fact that she's lazy and unprofessional. My attorney is a extremely good communicator, she passed along information whenever she got it. So basically the way Donna worked with my attorney is doing nothing - no update, nothing. And she sent out check in a plain envelope without any tracking, thinking her job's done when she shipped the check away. This person should be fired.

AVOID THIS PLACE: brought my divorce papers to the notary Susana is incompetent and unprofessional. She only had to sign twice and to stamp twice, and she missed one stamp. Now my whole process needs to get restarted and they don't take responsibility for it. Avoid this place and avoid Susana as notary.

Without a doubt, I am fortunate to call this dashing lawyer a personal and family friend. Whenever we have any problem to be sorted out, we go straight to Peter. In an anecdotal reference, when my mother had to deal with unfair traffic ticketing, Peter had found all sorts of holes in the prosecution, proving my mother's innocence in the matter. She was so happy with his professional manner of handling the case, that when my younger sister had a traffic problem, my mother directly went to Peter to represent my sister in court. Once again, his thorough case studies and detailing went above and beyond our expectations, and incidentally the prosecution's as well.
Since then, he has helped in our cases of immigration, business, social security, and other matters dealing with the state laws. He is very courteous and friendly in the office, and reminds you always that he is on your side. Perhaps his humor is something to adapt to, but in a matter of a few meetings, you will find yourself splitting sides and jovial, with confidence that he really will pull through for you. In fact, just the other day I visited his office with a friend that was in all sorts of trouble. He was serious, but there was a twinkle in his eye that calmed the nerve of my friend very quickly, and he assured that he would be able to handle the case without a hitch. Since my family has witnessed his fire in court, I have no qualms to reassure my friend that Peter is indeed the real deal.
I have referred several friends to him, and not only is he very open, he is very reasonable with his rates. If Mr. Kollory is not your first stop, he will certainly be your last stop for legal matters in NJ. He answers calls within the day, and his professional manners have him placed at the top of his peers. I don't even think twice and remember to keep his business card on hand to proudly say, "I am being represented by Peter Kollory."

I hired Peter S Kollory to perform immigration and business service to my organization. He took the money upfront. He did not have a plan/schedule to complete the task on time as it was time based. He did not give any dates and deliverable's that he should perform based on my input nor gave a plan for me to deliver to accomplish his milestones. Because of his inability, lack of knowledge and experience our immigration petition was not filed before the 2013 H1B quota closed on April 05, 2013. He does not have any policy on communication and co-ordination. Phone calls and emails were not returned on time. It was a very BAD experience and lost time and money using his service.
I WILL NOT RECOMMEND HIS SERVICE TO ANYONE NOR WILL GO BACK TO HIM.

I can definitely recommend Mr. Peter Kollory, he is very good and knowledgeable lawyer, I don't know about other guy's review about Mr. Peter Kollory, all I know is I heard about his good reputation, his honesty and help to clients that was the reason I have approached him and carried away with the same impression, he did two H1Bs for me in very difficult times. The fees he charged are OK for me.

No!!!!! My lawyer (Scott A. Telson, Esq.) was terrible. He gave Me wrong advise. Rushed through phone calls and lacked empathy and professionalism. My case could’ve been strong, had we looked deeper and spent more time in the case as well as putting the time worth for his easily hardly earned 20% commission. Don’t get fooled when he tells you he’s taking 2% when he really means 20%! When asking him about commission/payment, he will rush through the details and show annoyance when asked twice or explanation about something.
Wouldn’t recommend.

There’s no coming Really dissatisfied. I wouldn’t recommend Lombardi and Lombardi. From what I been through. The owner and with Paul. My attorney not to be trusted. They are hard to contact for questions. Talk down to you. Like your the victim. Never polite. When I try to talk to the owner. The lady that Answers on oak tree road. Talks nasty. When I like to speak to them. I waited so long for them and trusted them. To do my case. Once you have a lawyer taking your case. No other lawyers will take your case. Paul turned his back on me. To go farther and get the money I deserve. Not talking top dollars. But the injuries I have. Have permanent injuries. Missing 4+years from work. Only gotten 1 year of pay if I had worked that year. This law firm do not care about clients. Most likely sell you out and move on to the next case and they will make sure they get their full pay and say bye your case done. Find a law firm that will care about their clients. Because this law firm showed me they don’t care about clients. As I was one of their clients. So don’t do it. You only get one shot to get what you deserve! There’s no coming back saying I pick the wrong lawyer. I wouldn’t go back and use this law firm in the future and wouldn’t recommend anyone. He took on a job to held with an Anchor Tax Rebate issue and has blown me off and ignored me. He would tell me he was done but just had to review it. Then no response. Then personal issues. Then almost done. Tgen ignore me. After months I still have no resolution.

I am very pleased with the excellent work done by Jacob Krief. Through my interaction with him I learned that he is very knowledgeable in many areas of estate planning and tax law. My situation was very complex yet he was patient with me and always took the time to explain the process to me so that I would understand what needed to be done. Working with this firm has been a breeze. From speaking with Stephanie to getting advice from Milan, I very much felt taken care of. Milan is really very knowledgeable and professional yet easy to work with. He described the process to me clearly, and walked me through the myriad decisions I needed to make. The final documents were meticulously prepared, and professionally presented.

I will start off by saying that he is a fabulous attorney and highly recommend him for any house closing. There was a situation where I missed something in the letter from seller's attorney where "Use of Occupancy" clause was written but not exactly where it should have been or I expected so, I missed it. Milan asked me couple of times that "do I agree with all the terms?" I said "Yes" every time during attorney review process. Finally, before sending it out to seller's attorney, he again asked me specifically about "Use of Occupancy" and that's when I saw the clause and then he suggested appropriate response as well otherwise, we would have been in trouble, if we would have gone by the condition put in by Seller's attorney. thank you Milan. In few other situations as well, he added few clauses himself to safe guard me, in case, sellers try to play rough by exploiting the "Use of Occupancy" or "Inspection" related repairs not that they would have or are/were planning to but its always good to have someone on your side in this complicated process of home buying. He was very thorough in explaining each and every paper (you know how big the bundle of papers there are) while closing the house which initially, i thought it's overkill but even that proved to be helpful as he found few issues while closing as well where Title company (not from him but lender) had missed few specifics from the documents so, he got them as well corrected which extended the closing time but he was patiently waiting with us and kept on explaining us. We were impressed by how detail oriented he is given that he knew few minor numbers 15 pages back also when we asked a question about some $253 approx. and he was quick to take us to a page where it was mentioned by lender.
So, here's all good and here's something not so much in his favor hence, 4 stars. Sometimes, when you did not follow the process or did not go through a document after him telling you as well then he can be rough (again, not shouting) but you can feel the irritation in his voice easily :) , happened with me twice but again, it was for my own good nothing was going to benefit him because of that but he did not like that. I found that, it's better to follow up with the attorney's assistant if you have put in some conditions which are out of the regular process like we had one or 2 (do not want to put it on forum) but overall, great experience.
You might find his fee little higher than others but then he does not add any additional charges at the time of closing like, photocopy, emailing etc. whereas most of other attorneys do.

This attorney meets with potential clients and tell them everything a client wants to hear from their potential attorney. Once the client retain this attorney he goes rogue on them.
He receives your call but have little time to listen to what ever you wish to discuss with him.
Every comment from him is we just have to wait and see what happens in court.
He never like to take the initiative and contact the opposing council for required information he will show up to a hearing knowing he never received the documents promised during the last court date and allow the judge to request the same information from the opposing council again with out a comment.
If you as the client inquire why the case is not progressing as you thought it would he will turn on you and make you the enemy.
From this point forward you get nothing but arrogance and hostile responses from the person (attorney) who represent you and should be on your side.
When you call to have a meaningful conversation about the case he rushes you off the phone and anything you thought you were going to cover with him gets swepted under the rug. Then when you show up for court he want to ask you questions you should have covered prior to the court hearing . So in a nut shell it appears as though he enjoys reporting to court rather its productive or not because he gets paid no matter what amount the case is settled for. In closing, it would have been appreciated if he was Proactive rather than non-compliant and argumentative to me the client; but rather informative and resourceful to the opposing side.

I hired Ms.Patel through her firm Pasricha and Patel for my family based green card petition.
The first ime you call and speak they leave a great impression which is misleading. After I hired them I was only able to communicate with their paralegal who would never be avilable to take calls. Any notices I received from USCIS I would check online and have to call the paralegal and have it emailed to me. I would prepare my forms and send it to them and they would take many days to file, and I constantly had to follow up.
I was highly displeased with the services provided and the lack of efficiency with which my case was handled. I would not recommend their firm.

I hired him because my kids mother was trying to keep me from my kids by getting a restraining order on me like the other review says he does not call people back he does not communicate at all he makes deals with the opposition without asking your opinion first or even Consulting with you at all once he gets paid he'll keep putting the case off and putting it off and telling you that it's the judge is a way or there's always an excuse he just lies about everything absolutely the worst decision I ever made do not hire this man he has a history of being a bad lawyer he has been reprimanded for it in New York then he transferred his license to New Jersey if you look it up you will find it
