Starting with my initial phone call with Alix, and onto every discussion or interaction I had with her, I felt better and better about my workplace issues. When I first got to Melissa's office and explained my situation to her the firs thing she said was "it sounds like you have a case" She wasted no time, she pulled out her pen and pad started asking me questions, writing notes and wanted any and all evidence that I had with me at the time. Not only did she believe in my case but she asked for no money upfront which was a blessing to me. Right then i knew she would fight tooth and nail for me. She explained how things would go and what to be prepared for. Throughout the next several months she called and emailed me every step of the way. I had a very positive experience working with Lisa and would recommend her to others who need a staunch advocate and supporter.
She listened carefully to the circumstances of my complaint against a former employer and quickly grasped the details, concluding that I had a case worthy of pursuit. She is very professional and meticulous. Her written letters did a great job of capturing the facts and explaining the essence of our case.
I appreciated that she asked for my input and respectfully listened to it and took it under advisement. The overall effort took longer than I expected, but Lisa remained steadfast and encouraging throughout, even when my confidence sometimes wavered. It felt good to know she was in my corner.
She was thorough in her research and very clear and articulate in her status updates. It was evident that she remained consistently focused on my case. It was very easy to maintain the thread of our conversations throughout the entire multi-month process. I never wondered where things stood.

Frank and his brother decided to stop representing me, but didn't tell me until a month later when I asked for an update on a contact in an email. When they returned the retainer, I tried to deposit the check but my bank returned it saying the account had insufficient funds. I called asking for a new check and a lady started yelling at me saying, "No! No! Absolutely not!" which I didn't appreciate. I resent the check to my bank and it got deposited the second time, so I don't know if the issue was on their end or my bank's, but again the poor communication was disappointing.
Frank seemed to be suspicious of my intentions from the very beginning. I'm the executrix of my father's estate, and before I even got into the details he said, "Your brother may need to obtain independent representation." It was weird comment because my brother is an adult and I've never stopped him from seeking representation, and we are not in any conflict.
Additionally, they didn't like the value I put on a home I inherited (it had been appraised right before covid and I had a local real estate agent who has been in the house give me an estimate of the increase of value, which I added to the appraised value). I chose to use this value for the contract rather than the zillow and redfin estimates they sent and that's when they decided to stop representing me because they thought it wasn't a fair value, even though my brother left them a message agreeing with the valuation and they never saw the house.
Overall dealing with them was huge waste of time.

Very unprofessional and unresponsive!! I spoke to someone regarding foreclosure paperwork delivered to my home by a woman who showed up at my door. I advised that I had no knowledge of anyone on that docket and requested to be removed. Days later, I receive the same large packet TWICE! I have called repeatedly and no one returns my call. At this point it is feeling like harassment.

I surrendered my house 6 years ago back to the bank. My bankruptcy was discharged 2018. These people have sent 4 HUGE packets so thick that they are wasting paper, ink and money. Has anyone returned to sender? I have called the 1st time. They said ok. Plus I gave them my lawyer's #! I'm returning to sender with a big note on the packet. Idiots!!!
