I got bit by a dog August 2023 and the customer I was working for it was their neighbor but she use Glenn Saltsman back when she bit and all I had to do was make a police report and send them some pictures and him and his team did the rest Very happy .

Not many times these days do we find our expectations exceeded! Venar Ayar is the exception! He is a wise, confident attorney...smart, responsive and a good listener. As we shopped for the right legal partner everyone wanted to "sell us"...not Mr. Ayar! We contacted him because our current tax service did not meet our expectations. He recommended that we not walk away. Instead he told us how to move forward and not spend extra money! He didn't want us to increase our legal expenses. Imagine we were ready to hire him but he was looking out for us. He provided us with good counsel, insight and advice but refused to take money for his service. He said the first visit is a free consultation. He gave us the advice we needed and it cost nothing! Most legal firms would have taken advantage of a disgruntled client and signed us up....instead he gave us the knowledge to move forward with our current tax attorney. He gave us all the time we needed! I would trust Ayar Law firm and I wish I could give them more than 5 Stars!!!!!

I have needed to get legal advice to navigate dealing the the IRS three times. I have talked to other attorneys but each time I relied with confidence on Venar Ayar. Not only was I successful in dealing with the IRS every time, the last two times I was not charged for the legal advice. Instead, I was advised that I could easily execute the remedy without paying them, the steps were throughly explained and I was encouraged to simply do it myself. I did and it went exactly according to their advice. Mr. Ayar’s associate Wendy even said if you have any questions just call and I will guide you. I showed up to their office with my check book ready and willing to pay them to just do it for me. But they are very honest and do not take peoples money like many of the other “tax relief” companies advertised. I was in a pickle with the IRS and I was scared. I heard a comercial about Optima Tax Relief and I had called them first. After an hour long phone consult they were going to take care of the situation for $4000 which I needed to pay UP FRONT over the phone so that they could assign me to one of their attorneys. I hesitated. It was all remote, nothing local.
Then I heard a radio ad for Ayar Law and they were local so I felt better about that and called them. At least I could see them face to face when handing over $4000. But as I explained above, I PLEASANTLY learned that I had avoided a scam. I was kindly advised to keep my $4000 because I could easily do it myself, I was offered support if I needed it and it worked out perfectly - I prevailed.
I really can’t say enough about how important it is to KNOW FOR CERTAIN that your attorney is an honest person who truly has your BEST INTERESTS in mind. But I can say that about Venar Ayar and the team at Ayar Law with all confidence. As I have said, I have, unfortunately on my part, needed to call on them three times over a seven year period and I have only paid once and then it was only a few hundred dollars and I have always come out on top in my tax dealings. And though Ayar Law is a business relationship it has the feel of friendship. You won’t find a better legal counselor.
THIS GUY IS HONEST, FAIR, VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE, CONSCIENTIOUS AND EFFECTIVE. He’s also a gentleman.

I had to file a fraud /seller non-disclosure lawsuit last summer. After speaking with five attorneys and listened to their individual assessment, I knew Dominic was the right guy to take on the case. I was so worried about the IRS notices I was receiving and thought that my bank account was going to be levied - UNTIL I talked to Chad. An IRS Criminal Investigator came snooping around my house and began asking me a lot of alarming questions. The investigator had a badge and a gun! Basically he was not welcomed into my house. The Tax Attorneys at 1-800-LAW-FIRM calmed me down. The tax attorneys told me that an IRS criminal investigator investigates tax crimes and helps prosecute tax crimes. I was very disturbed by the IRS coming to my house. I thought I might be able to talk myself out of the problem but the tax attorneys told me this was a bad idea. The Attorneys talked to the Investigator and after some negotiation the problem went away. That’s all I can really say about this but the Attorneys did a good job and I did not go to jail.

IRS sent me letters saying I had to pay them back for a big tax refund I got. I was shocked because I did not get any type of refund. I could not figure out what was going on and I was scared. So I started calling some people to figure out what to do. My CPA referred me to Federal Tax Defense at 1-800-LAW-FIRM – I had about a 20 minute conversation with one of the Tax guru’s over there who totally knew what I was going thru. I completed the paperwork and they called the IRS for me and explained what was going on. It seemed fairly easy to them but very complicated to me. The Tax Defense team got the IRS to begin an investigation on my case and all the crazy letters stopped. Now I am able to move forward because the identity theft defense was granted by the IRS – my Lawyers won. I’m glad I retained a Tax Defense team who knew what they were doing. I made a good decision and their customer service was very good. Thank you.

Joe Lavigne is an exceptional attorney and an even better human being. He's extremely compassionate, uber-responsive and highly intelligent. He is even a resource for the police community and trains officers on the utilization and dynamics of the DataMaster Breathalyzer.
My OWI was high profile and involved an accident. I needed the best representation possible. I thought I did my homework interviewing more than 6 locally based attorneys, because I felt that was necessary given the accident and the "homer" culture of the community. I hired someone who advertises a ton and claims to be the best. The reviews looked good. But his arrogance and lack of compassion showed through after I paid him, so I moved on. Then, I hired another attorney who was recommended due to his connections to the judges. I thought that was extremely important, so I hired and paid him too. This guy, however, was consistently unresponsive. He even put in a substitute attorney for a video hearing! But then I learned about Joe and hired him, despite feeling backed into a corner because of the locality. I made a lot of mistakes in this process but one thing is clear:
It does not matter where you are in Michigan, local representation does not matter. It can actually even hurt you, since some attorneys put themselves and their community relationships first. You need someone who is smart, thorough, responsive, compassionate and gets the job done. Understanding of the law is what matters! Joe Lavigne is all of that and more. He delivers results!

The best decision I ever made was hiring Joe Lavigne. His negotiation skills are unmatched and he is extremely professional and courteous with all parties when it comes to handling matters in a case. Joe managed to take a felony case punishable by a minimum of 25 years in prison down to a lesser charge with a 6 month probation period with dismissal of all charges upon completion of probation. He does not push you to make any decision you do not want to make, but will give you all of the facts and perspectives so that you can make a fully educated decision on where to take the case. You can tell he truly cares for his clients and is committed to doing whatever needs to be done to get a favorable outcome. Every time I met with Joe or was with him in court I always felt calm and collected knowing he was by my side during this trying ordeal. Hire this man. You will NOT regret it.

I thought my attorneys Bobby Raitt and Alison Duffy were easy to get along with. What I really liked about them was that when I called with a question, they would call me back the same day. They worked as a team to help me with whatever I needed. They were just prompt with the information I needed and easy to work with. I was in a car accident, so they took care of all of the medical bills that kept getting sent to me. I didn't have to deal with the insurance companies anymore, because they took care of my PIP lawsuit and made sure I got all of my no fault benefits. I didn't have to deal with anything because I knew they were on the ball. Bobby and Alison also called me with updates, so I knew things were always moving toward a timely settlement. They were both very professional and great lawyers. I would definitely refer them to anyone that I know who gets into an auto accident.

I was in a motor vehicle accident and after getting cited for the accident, I called Michigan Auto Law. I wanted the responsible party to be responsible. Everything from my initial talk with Jeff Bussell, who began my case, to my attorneys Bobby Raitt and Alison Duffy, who litigated has been excellent. They had very good communication, kept me in the loop and made me feel very important. I came to Elizabeth 3 years ago with a pile of paperwork, a lot of stories and a drug addict mother of my son.
After looking through my very unorganized evidence of what’s been going on for a few years, she explained to me that I have a case. She said with honesty that this is a very “different” case considering the drugs, alcohol, mental instability, etc and being able to prove all of this.
She admitted that this kind of case is more rare than others but she would study all areas of everything going on in my case and represent me to the best of her ability.
Now fast forward 3 years, tons of court dates in front of our referee and judge, a 2 day trial and even more court dates in front of our judge, post trial. I now have full custody of my son. He is out of harms way and is the happiest he’s ever been.
Elizabeth went above and beyond. She accepted all my calls, she called me regarding issues and has fully been just as involved in every aspect of this case as I have been (which is ALOT). She has completly took it upon herself to further her education regarding the very “different” aspects of my case such as drugs, how the mom is beating drug tests while still being high, different affects from different drugs and alcohol, getting medical records showing the mental instability and much much more. NOT TO MENTION, I AM A DAD. We all know courts can be a little biased towards fathers.
Thanks to Elizabeth Silverman, my son is safe and happy. It’s been a extremely long road but Elizabeth has been here for me every step of the way. Not only as my lawyer but as my advisor and even sometimes my therapist. All while seeming like a good friend.
I would also like to add, Elizabeth only hires the best Paralegals there is in the state of Michigan. I could not write this post without saying how great they all are but especially Gina. Gina has been here for me for so much and was always just a call away to talk me through my troubles and help with anything I needed.

Dear Elizabeth,
It was my pleasure to have you as my lawyer and my counselor during my divorce trial. Having some ideas that divorce is very painful procedure, yet I could not even imagine that a person whom I considered my best friend and the most closed person (my ex-wife) turned into the bitterest enemy.
Your professionalism, your excellent knowledge of judicial system helped me tremendously during the divorce trial. What impressed me, that you pay your attention to big issues, as well as to little or even tiny problems. It is your big role in Macomb County Court’s decision to award me not only with joint legal custody, but also with joint physical custody. (Later I found out that it is not often for men in Michigan to be awarded with joint physical custody.)
Based on my experience, I can advise to person who is going to get divorce, try to avoid it. If there is no way to avoid divorce, then talk to your spouse, try to solve problem peacefully.
But if it doesn’t work, I really can recommend person, who is facing divorce, use service of my lawyer Elizabeth Silverman. Elizabeth will do her best to get the very satisfactory (at least) results for her client.

I had the pleasure of having Mr. Mike Williams represent us at the most difficult time of our lives.
We were scammed by a Debt Service and ended in us having to file Chapter 13. We were refered to him, by our future son-in-law. He said that Mike will help us out. At our lowest point our vehicle was repossed and were going after our other assets. Mike made arrangements to see us the following day. Within days our vehicle was in our possession. He also stopped the creditors from coming after our other assets.
His kindness and concern towards our situation is something we will never forget.
Mike has helped us in other areas to help us get some justice and closure for our future. I can't count the times he called checking on us to assure us that we will be alright and get through this.

Laura handles herself extremely well in and out of the courtroom. She is very well respected among her peers and the professionals associated with the court. Even the Friend of the Court doctor said to me “That Mrs. Anderson is one heck of a lawyer” after coming out of a courtroom win. My kids were in a bad situation, Laura went above and beyond to get them out of it. Navigating through the muck thrown in a custody battle, getting the judge and the magistrates to focus on the real problems. She is very personal and upfront with everyone involved.
