At the recommendation of family, I hired a local social security disability Lawyer from Ft. Smith, AR in March 2022. After months of me going to Doctors appointments, filling out forms, obtaining medical records, etc. I received a letter from him in August of 2023 saying he had closed his business! I was at a loss and didn’t know what to do. I called Laura McKinnon’s office in September 2023 and she thankfully agreed to take my case.
I knew nothing about her. Had only seen her commercials on TV. She and her staff were most courteous and professional and stayed in constant touch with me throughout this process. I am happy to say that in May of 2024 she won my social security disability case for me! Couldn’t have done it without her!

I hired Sol Kim years ago for my case that just ended not too long ago, but his practice area was little different from my case.He didn't care. He helped me as a translator, found another lawyer for me to work with, and they both worked tirelessly for years.
Sol Kim was a very detailed person. He kept me up-to-date with the case and provided me with options.

We had documents that ha to be translated from Korean to English, then all of the documents sent to the secretary of state for Apostilles on all the notarized pages. He managed to get it done in less than four days and called me that they were ready which was excellent. Meaning that we were way under the dead line for them to be filled in S. Korea. I hired Angela after I was facing a pretty serious felony charge filed by the state. That's jail time, fines, loss of rights, loss of job opportunities, etc. I thought for sure my life was over, but Angela reassured me that there was much hope to be had in my case. In about a month, I received the news that no charges were going to be filed. Essentially the case was dropped! We contacted Heimer Law after having a terrible experience with a different attorney. Justin walked us through step by step what we needed to do in order to terminate the previous attorney's contract and transfer the files to his office. We are SO GLAD we did! We can sleep at night knowing our adoption was ethical and care was given to ALL parties involved. Our experience with Heimer Law felt like a team effort instead of the coercion and shadiness we experienced with our previous attorney. Jeff Conner is such a knowledgeable and caring attorney. We tried to negotiate medical debt directly with the hospital but they said we made too much to qualify for assistance and not enough to qualify for a cash settlement. We were so frustrated and desperate. I wish we had talked to an attorney (R. JEFF CONNER!) before we tried to negotiate with anyone. Our previous efforts almost cost us a lot of money. Mr. Conner resolved our issue in a very short time for 7% of the balance. We were in the unique position that we were going to file for bankruptcy with Mr. Conner if the hospital had not accepted his offer. So thankful we did not have to use that silver bullet!

Tripp was exactly the lawyer we needed, when we needed him. The contractors on my home ripped me off, walked off the job, did a flawed job of what was completed, needless to say they did not complete the entire job. To top things off, the contractors filed a lien on my house. There were several twists and turns throughout the case. Just before trail, I went into the hospital with no direct contact/planning from Tripp. Tripp was still prepared anyway despite being limited in the decisions he could make. Within the last two days of court, the contractors brought in a new hot shot attorney from out of state. The new attorney disregarded the discovery process since he was not involved. My first expert witness was promptly dismissed. The court went into continuance. Tripp managed get to the testimony from my first expert witness anyway. In the end, the judge dismissed the contractor's case and granted me a judgement. A two-attorney team did not have skill nor court room presence to defeat Tripp’s preparation, presentation and court room presence. I have only hired a few attorneys who all have done some great things for me. Tripp is the top of the list.

My husband and I made the difficult decision to let go of our attorney 2 weeks before our custody trial. We stumbled upon Tripp online and made the choice to hire him. I hired Mr. Milam over two years ago in the middle of a criminal case I had against me , and I am so thankful that I did. In the beginning he told me he didn't know if he could get me a better deal then what I had been offered, but he promised me he would fight with me until the bitter end. Mr. Depper was kind but firm in what I would need to do to resolve my legal issues. The first face to face meeting his confidence was apparent and his knowledge of the system was strong. I was nervous and really did not think any lawyer would care to go the distance with my family.
Not only did Mr. Depper go the distance but he gave me sound advice, answered all my questions, calls, and messages regardless of how emotionally distraught or anxious I was. He is a very good listener and does his homework.
I thought at the beginning of my case there was no hope and I would be railroaded by the system. With Mr. Depper there was no chance of this happening. Even when I was ready to settle for anything just to get the case closed he was still fighting for us. I had a lot of work to do and he was very up front about my responsibilities. With each step he was encouraging, and supportive. He never once backed down. Throughout the case I kept telling myself what he had told me from the very beginning. "Your case depends on how many hoops they throw at you that you are willing to jump through...with a smile on your face". I would jump again. He was right. Even if they set them on fire he was there to put it out.
Strong, knowledgeable, supportive, and someone that has a good ethic. I feel privileged to have had him on my side. I was able to walk out with my chin up, and faith restored.

This summer I found myself in serious trouble and in need of legal help but had no idea how to find an attorney that would handle my type of problem. After searching and asking around, I stumbled onto the AVVO website. When I found Mr. Depper's page I noticed he had taken the time to answer more than 60 legal questions. I read his responses and I liked the way he answered people. He was very clear, to the point and helpful to those with inquiries. I contacted him via email through his website and he responded a few minutes later.
When I met him in person I found his demeanor matched the person depicted in the legal responses. I learned very quickly that I did not have to explain things in a hurry to him. He listened to everything I had to say and let me explain in my own way. He carefully looked through everything I had to show him asked questions for clarification and took a lot of notes. He explained the challenges that I would be facing and explained the general process of resolving my case. He answered all of my questions and when I didn't understand something he seemed to be happy to go over it again. When I walked out of his office that day I felt a tremendous relief. I felt like he had a thorough understanding of my situation and of me as an individual. I felt blessed to have a strong advocate with a solid plan.
We had three additional meetings and two phone conversations before my hearing took place. Mr. Depper stayed true to his initial character. He always answered all of my questions , he listened and did not rush me. He addressed every issue I raised by either telling me how he was handling it or making me understand why it was irrelevant. He never allowed our meetings to conclude without making certain I had no more questions. He always invited me to contact him if I had questions but that it was never necessary to contact him since he answered everything up front.
When it came time to go to court he met with me and explained how the hearing would proceed. On the morning of the hearing he spent a few minutes with me beforehand to make sure i was calm and did not have any questions or concerns. During the hearing I was a little in awe of him. He was very organized and well prepared. He systematically raised for consideration every issue we had concerns with. He kept everyone on topic including the opposing attorney. When the hearing was over he talked with me again. We briefly reviewed what transpired in the hearing and he let me know what to expect next. A few weeks later we learned that his defense was successful and there were no more steps to take.
I am very grateful to Mr. Depper for really hearing me, for taking my case and fighting for me. He is truly a blessing.

On January my husband and his friend were traveling back to Texas, their car broke down in front of a cop, the car was searched 13k and 4 grams of weed wax were found, which my husband didn't know about, otherwise his "friend" wouldn't have taken blame, they were still taken to the county jail.Dearmore was the only one lawyer who took my husband's case being the fact that we are from another state (Tx) . Eventhough the bond was set at 3,500 Bondsman didn't want to take the risk either, they didn't think he was going to make it to all court days given. thankfully a lady referred me to Dearmore Law, who rapidly worked on the case. As soon as I contacted him he immediately visited my husband that same day, he then contacted me back and told me how much he would charge me for the case, which that too was very reasonable price, payment plans are also available which is great for everyone on low income. By Wednesday of the following week, he gave me the best knews, all charges were droped, and my husband was released. Mr. Kieklak and his staff were very professional and guided me through the Social Security Disability process and hearing.
