As a father of a 5-year-old boy, I honestly couldn't ask for better lawyers to represent me in court. Lisa and Kevin normally work with me and they are AMAZING! Extremely professional, punctual, and great at communicating with me both in and out of the courtroom. One of the district judges even said I have the best family lawyers in the county. I gotta say, I agree with him. I could go on and on about how great they are but I'd be here all day. If you have a family case hire them! Especially if you're a father!!

I would definitely recommend the Law office of J. An absolutely outstanding law firm. They dealt with my divorce case. I had two attorneys prior that were getting bullied and dropping the ball on key items that ended up costing me time and excess money. Not all divorces are equal.
Some are extremely complex with assets and personalities. Lisa Peterchuck is an absolute tier 1 attorney and can handle complex cases both from a personality standpoint and asset standpoint.

I came to Mr. Carters office and he had me explain what happened, how we got here, and what’s next etc. He was able to keep me ahead of the ball on some situations and helped me to progress in the process with no hang ups. With his many years as a defense attorney, he has a heavy reputation and everyone knows him and he knows everyone. Lastly, the element I take away is that each visit he had some insightful wisdom and a lesson to be learned for what had been done.

Mr. Carter was referred to me from a good friend who I've known for a while and it was by far the best referral I could ever have gotten. Don fought for me as if he was my own father. He got me more than I would have ever expected. I've dealt with many lawyers in past and most of them were trash even after paying them good money. Don has been at this business a long time and it shows in the courtroom. He gets much respect from the judges and prosecutors and trust me that goes a long ways. I was dealing with a possible probation revocation, I spoke with Mr.Keating about how I wanted go forward with my probation and he explained all the possible scenarios that could happen and answered any questions I had. He has great patience, very understanding, doesn’t make you feel judged, and overall makes you feel comfortable which then builds confidence with your choice of choosing him to represent you. He’s very honest with how he feels an outcome will play out and let’s you decide whether or not you want to take route. My probation was going ideal until my probation officer filed the motion to revoke me earlier than expected, I ended up having a warrant for my arrest. Mr.Keating came up with a solution to keep me from going to jail (as I have 2 kids dependent on me) and that required me to step into the courthouse full of officers. I honestly was very hesitant but I trusted him and I walked out of the courtroom discharged from my probation a month earlier than my intended date! I also adore his paralegal Robin! She is truly amazing, she’s has great communication, great response time, and helped me feel comfortable and at ease with an undesirable situation! I’m sure he has multiple clients but him and his staff really make you feel like you’re a priority which is so important when dealing with time sensitive matters. Definitely recommend to anyone needing legal assistance.

I made an excellent decision when I chose Ty Stimmons with Varghese Summersett as my attorney. He and his staff— Shantae, Natasha, Kaylon, Katie, and kept me updated on the progress of my cases. The staff guided me through the online process of completing forms and helped me retrieve the information I needed for my cases. What really helped me the most was that the staff allowed me to call the office whenever I had questions, concerns or needed information. I am extremely please with the law firm.

I was arrested on an assault charge with bodily injury to a family member. The judge put me on an EPO bond. Once released I returned to the vicinity of my home and noticed someone taking items from it.l confronted that person and arrested a second time for violation of a bond. While I was incarcerated the second time my property was being taken. I hired an attorney that I could not get in touch with nor even show up in court with me or respond to texts or emails. When he did come to court he said I was facing jail time. Not only was I dealing with the agony of my property being taken, now jail was added to my problems. I decided to change direction. I went to the law firm of Varghese/Summersett with Tiffany Burks and here team Mitch Monthie and Michelle Bahr taking the helm. After the first consultation with them taking on both charges, I left feeling confident that I chose the right team for. Terrible experience with Sarah particularly. My coparent withheld my ability to see my infant on multiple occasions, Sarah charged me for documentation that didn’t improve or remedy the situation; the coparent was not held accountable whatsoever. The response I received from filing the expensive paperwork Sarah’s firm advised was my coparent filing a false police report saying their vehicle was broken into implicating me for which I had proofs were 100% false (the vehicle was NOT broken into or tampered with and I was nowhere remotely close to area it was located at the time in question). I was required to meet at police stations following that accusation - know what the coparent showed up in?? The undamaged vehicle in question on the DAY FOLLOWING the accusation. (For the record, it’s supposed to be a crime in Texas to file a false police report). Again, none of it mattered when we *never made it to court* — saddled with $25k worth of representation debt (when the standard for family court settlements is ~$11k to my understanding), a hefty child support amount, and ONE day more than a standard possession as a non-custodial parent. I wrote her an angry, frustrated “who do you work for here?” email to which she felt the need to call me personally at 3 am having me tell her I thought she was the perfect person to help me with my situation or she would be resigning my case. Should’ve dropped her then and there. I’m an honorably discharged veteran, a former federal employee, an Eagle Scout, etc. I was up against someone with a an assault record. Continuously told her firm I wanted a 50/50 coparenting agreement and wasn’t trying to skirt child support because I didn’t think it would help my case. Not what was presented at the 2-3 court days we were supposed to have, I took off work for and made special arrangements for but didn’t actually “take.” We never made it to court - ended up in mediation with a RETIRED judge who didn’t read or pay any attention to the facts of the case whatsoever as his blanketed opening statement at mediation was - “I don’t care what the facts are here, I’m not taking any child away from his mother short of something drug related” - a determination based solely based on gender/sex. I did 90% of the talking during mediation; Sarah and her assistant sat there and barely spoke. I’m not an attorney. I didn’t get paid $25k to represent someone. Had no idea what I was doing. Sarah worked with the coparent’s attorney and came up with a 30+ page document that provides more coverage for my co-parent than me and I was billed for it; co-parent walked away from the case on a pro-bono basis. If I mess up, jail time and fines. If the co-parent messes up, there would be hefty court fees for me to enforce anything and then next to 0 repercussions for them. My coparent has been so empowered by how easy it was to walk over me that she has continued to violate the agreement (never missed a day with my son, coparent’s missed a plethora; coparent doesn’t send written updates when our circumstances change, I’ve had to; coparent moved outside the agreed upon living area, repercussions are supposed to be me becoming custodial, NOPE; coparent filed 2 more false police reports since implicating but not naming me to avoid harassment charges, nothing stopping them). If you’re a single father out there for any reason and are looking for help, know upfront no one (courts, attorneys, etc) cares about the dad’s rights or involvement in a child’s life. Since the resolution, I’ve struggled to make ends meet between the debts and my obligations. Think when I’m struggling to this degree that I can afford or would even bother going back to court to have my coparent “held accountable” for the violations?? Steer clear of Sarah’s firm; felt massively overcharged for the minimal support or intervention I received from them.

Once considered taking a plea deal since I couldn't afford a long drawn out court process. He encouraged me that it would not be for nothing. Told me, without a hint of hesitation, that it would be okay. Now 2 years later, I went from fighting a felony assault charge to a NOT Guilty to the same case. I don't ever want to be in trouble again, but it is apparent that I will call Zach first and foremost.

Rod reviewed the facts of my case and told me he felt I had a strong case for age discrimination. He clearly discussed the risks and the steps that would be taken during the entire process. He demonstrated excellent knowledge of EEOC procedures as well as the judicial processes. During the EEOC mediation hearing, he countered every point of law advanced by the company's lawyer and quickly noted errors in their documents. He was very knowledgable of all the judges in Collin county and always kept me informed of pluses and minuses in our case. He was never too optimistic or pessimistic about our case and always presented facts. A satisfactory settlement was reached before the case went to trial. I feel that Rod is the best employment attorney in North Texas!

Jason Smith helped me back in 2018 with employment concerns. He got me back where I needed to be. I find myself back in a difficult position again with the same employer and he took time out of his schedule to listen. He told me what to focus on and what to let go. James is not only a great attorney, he's also a great counselor. Anything in law that has to do with family is never easy on anyone, but James talked me through it and helped me realize that this is just a painful part of my life, but that I will get through it. My Son was facing serious felony criminal charges which could have resulted in multiple years in prison. In all honesty in Mr. Poe being his court appointed attorney we really were not expecting much. Sadly this wasn’t my sons first time in trouble and our experience with both hired and court appointed attorneys hasn’t been the best. They’ve often been difficult to reach and we’ve found ourselves to be just another case file. This wasn’t the case with Brian Poe. Not only did we find him extremely knowledgeable in federal criminal law, he was compassionate and treated my son and our family with respect. He took NUMEROUS calls from my son and myself and always took the time to explain every step of the process. Brian actually would take the time to message me when he would meet with my son just to let me know that he was doing okay. He’s genuinely just a good man. In our experience with Mr. Poe we found him to be a dedicated, knowledgeable attorney with a great working relationship with both the DA and the courts. In court he fought for my son and was able to get the minimal amount of time on his sentence. I sincerely don’t believe we could have done this without him. I was in a horrific motorcycle accident last summer. A friend of mine referred me to Seth Anderson to help get my medical bills covered. I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with Hampton Law Firm, particularly with the conduct of attorney Rebecca. Throughout the duration of my case, I felt that my concerns and interests were consistently disregarded, and I was pressured into making decisions that were not in my best interest. Most notably, Rebecca pushed me into accepting a charge that I did not believe was justified or in line with the circumstances of my case. Despite my reservations and clear desire for a different approach, she strongly encouraged me to take the charge, citing vague and unconvincing reasons. Her demeanor was dismissive of my questions and concerns, and I felt that my rights and options were not fully explained to me. The entire experience was incredibly disheartening, as I trusted the firm to represent me fairly and competently, only to find myself coerced into an outcome I felt was neither necessary nor appropriate. This lack of transparency and professional integrity has left me deeply dissatisfied with both the firm and its representation, as I was forced to accept a charge that I was being falsely accused of. She did NOTHING to try to dismiss the charge. When I was in front of the Judge he even looked at me Like was I sure I wanted to accept the charge. Rebecca told me I would take a charge I didn't commit. I ended up spending over $10,000 on attorney fees. Do Not go to this lawfirm. They will NOT represent you, they will just drain your wallets. A fem showed up to court flirting with prosecutors instead of being there for me . All the flirting she did around the court , I atleast thought she was doing it for my sake for a lesser time or something . . But not I got the worse deal ever ! RUN RUNNRUNN
